I felt like this provider is knowledgable but spent a significant amount of time talking about my child's BMI and obesity in front of my child. I told her that my primary care doctor wasn't concerned much because her height and weight were comparable. But this provider Continued to press me for details on her activity, exercise and diet. Even recommending I decrease 10% of her diet at lunch time since that's the meal she eats the most before school. While I appreciate the care, it's not appropriate to have this discussion in front of the child especially when the child is healthy and their Symptoms are decreasing.

Dr. Lai explains things very clearly and makes sure that I know step by step what the plan is moving forward. I really appreciate the time she takes in each appointment to make sure everything is addressed and understood.
