Kristina McKinley, MD, received her undergraduate degree in Zoology from Weber State University and her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. She then completed her Pediatric residency at the University of Utah and Primary Children’s Medical Center. She is board certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Dr. McKinley joined the faculty at the University of Utah School of Medicine in August 2010 as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatrics and since then has been promoted to an Associate Professor of Pediatrics. She spends her clinical time at Primary Children’s Hospitals in Salt Lake City and Lehi, Utah.

Dr. McKinley’s clinical interests include bronchiolitis, asthma, and diabetes care. She is currently involved in various research projects including the FAAN-C trial, I-DECIDE, and TRIAD. She is also invested in providing clinical medical education to medical students, pediatric and family medicine residents, and pediatric hospital medicine fellows.
