Dr. Onofrei is the most caring, friendly and knowledgeable Dr. I have ever had at the Neuroscience Center since I started there 2012 treating my Myasthenia Gravis.
She was only in the room for a couple minutes so I really didn't get the opportunity to get to know her much or learn about her or her helping me. I do not know who will be following up with me on the rest of my appointments. Where I used to meet with Dr Reichert he was the only one that I saw and talked to there was no resident working with him so I feel kind of off that the resident may not know or understand completely my situation. It would be nice to have doctor Onofrei spend a little more time with me if she's going to be the MD working with my situation.

I'm not sure if this is the doctor I saw or not if she was the attending position I did see an attending position, but I remember her having lighter colored hair. Either way the attending physician was excellent as well.

Dr Onofrei did a great job of assessing my current medical situation, she had done a thorough review of my file and consulted with the PA that I saw in Feb 2025. She was very thorough during the diagnosis of my situation. Great bed side manner, very concerned and caring, we never felt hurried or pushed to resolve, she took her time to test and make the best decision possible for me. I highly recommend her. She also made sure I was comfortable with the testing procedures, answered all our questions, and explained her diagnosis in detail to make sure we understood. Very hard to find a Doctor with her compassion and understanding. We have been looking and working on getting answers to my situation for 6 months, she answered our prayers, thank you....

Dr. Onofrei is a professional, compassionate and exceptional physician. I immediately recognized that she was the most knowledgeable physician I had seen. Her eye contact told me that she cared, that she was going to help me find an answer. Her testing was very precise and I felt her communication was very clear. At the end she looked me in the eye and gave me firm and precise information and instructions about my condition. She directed us to the staff, who gave us further information. A wonderful experience-a great doctor.

Neurologist Onofrei is gifted with Nerve Conduction testing, knew absolution that might work for me which was braces for my arms, and has a healing nature.
I didn't feel empathy from the doctor when I was having pain. I know that this procedure can be painful. However, it would have been more helpful to receive more reassurance, and a more elaborate explanation throughout the process of what is being done will help my health overall.

When she came on the room she brought a cheery atmosphere with much positivity. She actually could work and chat! So many doctors cant. She explained each time I was poked with the needle she helped me deal with the pain! I felt like I had a session that helped me out just talking with her! We are very happy with the services provided by Dr. Onofrei. She was both professional (in listening and diagnosing) and compassionate and concerned (in diagnosing and explaining). We have a daughter who is actively engaged in an OB practice here in Salt Lake Valley, and Dr. Onofrei reminded us of our daughter. Dr. Onofrei was tops.

Dr. Kelly Nelson took lead on my case and then brought Dr. Onofrei in later. She was so enthusiastic about my case and really wanted to know more. She had a real desire to know what was going on. She asked a lot of questions and really seemed interested. When Dr. Onofrei came in Dr. Nelson explained everything to her in great detail. She had really listened to me. I was very impressed by her.
