  • Luke G. Mirabelli, MD (he/him) is an Internal Medicine and Psychiatry specialist practicing at the Sugar House Health Center and E16 Internal Medicine Clinic. As both a primary care physician and psychiatrist, Dr. Mirabelli takes pride in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care across the spectrum of medical concerns, mental health conditions, and the gray areas in between. His clinical interests include men’s health (including LGBTQIA+ identifying men), sexual health (STI/HIV prevention, PrEP, and PEP), severe mental illness (SMI) diagnosis and treatment, and caring for individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities. He enjoys collaborating with his patients to identify their greatest needs and nurture their healthiest self—both physically and mentally.


    Dr. Mirabelli is a Salt Lake City native who enjoys travel, skiing, hiking, and music. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Italian and Bachelor of Science in Biology. He subsequently returned to Utah to earn his MD from the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Mirabelli then completed a five-year double-board Internal Medicine and Psychiatry ("Med-Psych") Residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He was elected by his peers to serve as Chief Resident in Psychiatry and as Chief Med-Psych Resident during his final years of residency training.


    In addition to seeing patients in his primary care/integrated “Med-Psych” practice, Dr. Mirabelli provides outpatient psychiatric consultation services within the health system’s Mental Health Collaborative Care model.
