I have been seeing Nurse Practitioner Bergomi every six months since my melanoma surgery 5 years ago. I have always found her friendly, caring, thoughtful, and efficient. She has consistently treated me as a human rather than a case number, remembers details about me, and is willing to provide advice about medical concerns peripheral to my cancer recovery. Her advice has always been on point. I feel like I've been in good hands.

Marie went the extra mile with me. She was courteous and caring. Explained to me all they were doing and also what the results were going to be. It was obvious that she loves her patience. I felt like I was in very good hands.

I was so impressed and appreciative of the care. Marie gave me. She took the time to listen to my health problems. She examined me thoroughly. She then consulted with the doctors to help me find a doctor that could help me with my problem. I was grateful she did not drop the ball. Marie Bergomi took care of cleaning away dead tissue on my rotational flap surgery wound and the flap itself that had been ignored up this point in time. She also explained options for making the thick facial flap blending into my face. She really cared about what I was going through!

[NAME REMOVED]'s step son was included in the visit tho wasn't addressed by nursing staff and to some degree Marie. She is super in all other ways except including all of the folks in the room. Our son is 40 and is assisting Jim more and more and wants to be included in the medical aspect of Jim's care. Marie does a pretty good job of this tho her nrsging staff sorely lack in this area.

She tried to discuss the ct scan with the radiologist but he was busy. Never heard back from them at all. She said she could not see the tumor on the screen. She also stated the need to go for balance therapy but no information on that either.

Dr. Bergomi understood my fear and knew I was scared of a recurrence. She listened to me. Did a scope viewing. Explained the situation thoroughly. Even though I improperly perceived a me growth she did not belittle me, instead she understood how I could misperceive the problem. She showed me empathy and assured me. I thank her for that.

More testing needed not enough time

She explained that I needed a larger size biopsy and that I could come back at a later time so I elected to go ahead

I have had very little exposure to medical needs, I was nervous due to the issures I was in for. I left knowing that a diagnosis was in progress and probably what I was dealing with. A follow up was immediately scheduled with a specialist and all my questions were answered.

I really liked the initiative taken by Marie Bergomi to immediately order a blood test when I complained about leg cramps. This saved a lot of time to identify the cause of this pain.

she seemed to question the way the Dr did the surgery. she acted like she didn't want to be there. she was very demanding of her assistant and talked bad about her after she left the exam room. it was a very negative work environment.

I had raised an issue with other practitioners prior to this visit, who indicated only that it wasn't cancer, that it was probably not a side effect of the treatment, and that I should seek care from my PCP. Nurse Bergomi paid attention, explained the condition, and provided an effective treatment.

Marie was very careful not to make any premature diagnosis. I asked what she thought about the mass she took for biopsy but she wouldn't say anything before results came back. I appreciate that.

because we are working with the Covid 19 I could not be in the room however they provided us phone conference so I could be part of the exam. can't say enough good about this and any other time we have been treated by Huntsman

Scott does not hear well so talking over the phone did not get all his questions answered and he did not have the comfort of being able to talk to them one on one. T
