  • Matthew Hughes, MD, is a board-certified occupational and environmental medicine physician. Dr. Hughes graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed both a master of public health degree and occupational and environmental medicine residency at Emory University. His professional interests include corporate management of medical programs, evidence based medicine, international health, toxicology, workplace health promotion, and musculoskeletal medicine. He possesses a strong and unique background in academic and corporate sector practice settings, serving previously as the Corporate Medical Director for Huntsman LLC, as well as the Western Hemisphere Medical Director for BP and Associate Medical Director for Marathon Oil Company. He was a recipient of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) Corporate Health Achievement Award in 2003 for program excellence at Marathon Oil Company, and is currently consulting for numerous clients.
