  • Dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in Orthopedic Hand Surgery, currently practicing with the University of Utah Orthopedic Hand Division in close collaboration with Dr. Nikolas Kazmers, M.D.. With extensive experience in diagnosing and treating conditions of the hand, wrist, and upper extremities, I work alongside Dr. Kazmers to provide comprehensive care, including pre-and post-operative management, surgical assistance, and rehabilitation. My focus on evidence-based practices and patient-centered care ensures optimal outcomes for those recovering from traumatic injuries or managing chronic conditions.

I began my career in healthcare by practicing urgent care medicine for the first few years, where I honed my diagnostic and treatment skills in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. I then transitioned to practicing general orthopedics and sports medicine in Sandy, Utah, before specializing in orthopedic hand surgery. I hold an added qualification in orthopedic surgery from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), further enhancing my expertise in musculoskeletal care. Originally from Pennsylvania, I graduated from the Lock Haven University Physician Assistant Program. A proud Marine Corps veteran who served in Iraq, I bring a disciplined, resilient approach to patient care.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending quality time with my wife and two dogs.
