  • Dr. Megan Prouty is an assistant professor at the University of Utah and a board-certified general dermatologist. She enjoys seeing a variety of conditions, with special interest in the management of psoriasis. She finds particular meaning in the art of selecting a treatment that takes into account your health history and personal experiences. She is also passionate about medical student education and mentoring. She graduated from residency at the University of Kansas where she spent one year as faculty before moving to Utah. She was the dermatology co-director of medical student education, and plans to continue being actively involved in this area.

    Dr Prouty is very knowledgeable and professional. She is very patient and kind which made me feel comfortable and well cared for. She explains things clearly and I highly recommend her.

    This was my first visit to Dr. Prouty and I definitely continue seeing her. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, which is very important to me. She took the time to listen and ask pertinent questions. I was very impressed.

    Facetiously I wouldn't recommend her to anyone because I want her all to myself. Megan is an excellent physician and I couldn't be anymore pleased with the care and treatment she has rendered to me.
