  • Mindy Orr, DNP, APRN is a Nurse Practitioner at Huntsman Cancer Hospital, specializing in breast cancer surgical oncology.     Mindy holds three degrees from the University of Utah including; BSN Business Management, BSN Nursing, and DNP Acute Care Nursing.

    She won the Rookie of the Year Burn Unit award in 2012.

    Mindy's Research Interests Include:

    - Survivorship and continuity of care after cancer diagnosis
    - Survivorship after traumatic injury
    - Wound healing techniques
    - Burn survivor reintegration
    - Scar management

    In her spare time, Mindy enjoys hanging out with her family, attending live music shows, hiking, running, paddle boarding, baking, U of U Football, RSL or enjoying a fine meal with family or friends.
