Very professional and concerned with my well-being
No bedside manners. In my a hurry to get out of the room. Did not listen to my concerns.
Super helpful, willing to answer questions (as a physician should be, helpful in helping me decide which decision to make.
The doctor was very delayed in seeing me. He did apologize but I felt my appointment was rushed.
U of U is a shining example of quality care.
Dr. Kazmers did an excellent job - he listened to my input and responses to his questions. He provided several options including a steroid shot which has been helpful. He explained the surgery option sufficiently for me to understand what he would do and how much it is likely to resolve my concerns.
Great Doctor
Doctor K was Absolutely awesome! Very understanding and encouraging going forward with plans to help my carpal tunnel, I felt like he listened and really heard me when I explained my symptoms and instead of pushing off the inevitable (surgery), he asked my opinion after explaining the whole procedure and actually wanted to fix my problem instead of covering it and hoping it would gradually become less of a issue, 10 out of 10 would recommend his services!
Would recommend Dr. Kazmers to anyone. He is kind and personable, easy to talk to, and concerned about his patients. Excellence in his practice.
He's and excellent choice if you need hand surgery, as he's repaired both hands this year including fingers, carpal and thumbs! Note: his entire staff from greeting, operating to therapy, I have absolutely no complaints and only praise, Thank you Dr. Kazmers and team.....

I highly suggest/trust Dr. Kazmers and his entire professional staff. I appreciate his team and rate all as excellent from scheduling, diagnosis, surgery, anesthesia, and finally therapy. They've completely renovated both my hands at 68 and I'm happy to say after a year off, I'll be playing golf again very soon as I no longer have numbness, triggers or pain in both! Thank you, [NAME REMOVED]

Dr Kasmer's is an excellent provider
All of my questions and concerns are always addressed to my satisfaction.
It seemed the doctor was interested in moving on to his next patient. He really wasn't happy with me telling him I wanted to talk to my pain specialist doctor about shots for my problem. My pain specialist was trained here at the U. I know he is very good at what he does.
Dr Kazmers was knowledgeable and great at treating my son for his broken thumb and me as a worried parent.
My entire experience was terrific. Unlike other experiences I've had elsewhere, I really don't have any suggestions to make your system / experience better.
Thanks for being so kind.
Doctor Kazmers was very clear and concise in his explanation of my issues and routes we could take to try to correct it. He asked for my opinion on my treatment plan and was very supportive and constructive in providing feedback as we developed a plan.
Dr Kazmers was wonderful, he really took much more time with me than I expected with such a big facility, he was kind and extremely thorough. Didn't push surgery at all and explained possible options. I was so impressed and grateful.

Dr. Kazmers is the best hand doctor, he is very caring and understanding.
I met Dr. Kazmers about five minute before my procedure, but he immediately made me feel at ease. He inspires confidence in how he explained what would happen and what he was doing. After he was done he explained everything, and he was just so nice and calm. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their doctor.
Very caring and knowledgeable. You can trust his experience and capabilities
Dr. Kazmers is among the best doctors that have ever treated me.
Nikolas Kazmers, MD is a true caring professional who thinks outside the box in finding what is best for his patients overall well being. He does not go by what may just be considered the common thing to do. Through communication with his patients and understanding their life and needs, he comes up with what is possible to do , with skills and creativity, to be successful for the best outcome for his patient.
Dr Kazmers was excellent in his treatment of me and his explanation of my health issue. When I expressed as concern about my healing, he quickly investigated further and helped me understand ways to overcome the swelling and tenderness in my fingers near the break site. He treated my concerns with care and I felt heard and understood!
The Dr explained what was happening and gave his suggestions and treatment options. He then answered my questions and l gave me the choice of what I wanted to do.

Dr was very careful to consider my diabetes in his proposed care for my hand and arm/elbow
Dr. Kazmers was patient and clear in his explanations; was sure I had no more questions before the next stage. I have every confidence in his work.
Dr. Kazmers actually went above and beyond with the info about the injury. I was content just being told the bare minimum about what needs to be done to fix it. But, he gave me a very good explanation of all the possible routes we could take and their implications.
Dr Kazmers is the best. He took the time to answer all my questions, and listened to my concerns.

He was patient and kind. He explained my entire upcoming surgery. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed.
Ready to go again for second surgery!!!
Ultimately his assessment was the same as mine: this is as good as my condition will get. Downside risk of additional surgical procedures outweighed the upside potential.
He listened to my issues and explained in detailed what the next steps are for my care.
Very attentive to my options going forward.
Worst Doctor most rudest and most disrespectful doctor I've ever met took my money charged me for the appointment but then told me he couldn't see me
He is very knowledgeable and kind. He listened to me.
Dr. Kazmers is great. Very calm demeanor. Doesn't seem in a hurry. Fully listens and answers questions.

I saw Dr Kazmers. I was very impressed. I would really like to let him know that I was feeling a bit depressed because of my injury but after speaking to him I truly felt much better. He put my mind at ease. Please share that with him
Spent close to 2 hours with the staff. Very thorough review of arguably a tough situation. Recognizing that the nerve damage issues would require another specialist, Dr. Saltzman brought in Dr. Kazmer who also did a very thorough exam and assessment. I got the sense that the Doctors and PA were motivated by the apparent challenge in assessing the multiple conditions in my foot. They were obviously motivated towards providing a path that could make improvements on the conditions in my foot. I wanted this 2nd opinion appointment for an independent (emphasis added) review of prior work done by a leading foot and ankle specialist in Beverly Hills, CA. I can say unequivocally that I got what I wanted. The proposed solutions/surgery are completely removed from what my prior surgeon recommended (fasciotomy) which I felt did not address the root cause of the problem and would destroy functionality of a perfectly good organ.
I was very impressed with him. He explained things fully and treated me as if I were an important person.
He honestly was the worst Doctor I have ever met with. I am pretty easy going and pretty upbeat. He was so unpolite, didn't really give any solutions or help with regards to how I felt or my situation. It was pretty weird to have a Dr. so unfriendly, unhelpful and so not caring about my situation. I have never had to write a comment that was unfavorable about a Dr. but he seriously was the worst. Very very unimpressed.
my doctor explained he wanted to ultrasound my cyst to make sure that's what my lump was
Dr. Kazmers is extremely knowledgeable and clearly explained my treatment options - allowed me time to confer with a family member - and worked to answer insurance/procedure related questions prior to my selection of treatment.
I actually recommended the LRTI procedure and Dr. Kazmers to a colleague of mine at work who is having similar issues.
Dr. Kazmers is a great surgeon and a great person. He cares about you, listens to your questions and opinions, and provides helpful---not forced---suggestions. He serves as a true example of a great physician and a researcher pursuing the latest trends.
Dr. Kazmers was awesome and very professional
Dr Kazmers was very kind the first time I saw him, but this last time he seemed indifferent to my worries and concerns.
Dr. did not listen well and would not allow time to listen to my concerns. Focused on one small area of pain rather than listening to a larger problem. It felt very dismissive.
Dr. Kazmer is one of the best, most caring doctors I've ever been to. His bedside manner is amazing and he explains everything to you very carefully.
I was very impressed with my surgical consultation with Dr. Kazmers and appreciated the time he gave me to explain my current osteoarthritic condition in my CMC joints, the surgical options, recovery schedule and his recommendations. He was very patient in explaining the proceedures and addressing my questions and concerns. I feel very confident that although I live three hours away from UoU (in Idaho Falls) that Dr. Kazmers is open to helping me accomodate the followup surgical recovery and therapy at both the UoU and Idaho Falls PT/OT. I continue to appreciate and be impressed with the very competent and compassionalte medical care that I receive at the UoU. All the medical and administrative staff exude a feeling that they really care about their patient's wellbeing and will take the necessary time put their patients at ease by talking with them.

At this point I need to reschedule. The shot I received isn't working & it's possible we failed to communicate about the exact issue
Great Doctor!!! Fast, though and friendly. Surgery went great as always.
Could not have had better care and support.
Dr Kazmers is a wonderful doctor. He listens to my concerns and we come up with the plan.
Dr Kazmers listened to my chief complaint, assessed my problem (carpal tunnel syndrome) and did a wonderful job with my carpal tunnel release. Local anesthetic and the procedure took about 10 minutes. I expect to be back to my normal daily activities in a couple weeks. I would highly recommend Dr Kazmers to friends and family.

Dr.Kazmers is kind, professional, and is very knowledgeable. He included me in all decisions about my care.
Dr. Kazmers is caring and respectful. I am so grateful to be his patient!
This was the first time I saw Dr. Kasmers. He was great! The resident doctor was also outstanding. I realized later that I didn't understand how difficult it would be to use the NSAID creme and the custom-made splint. Although I can't use the splint all day long because under the circumstances I find myself in, the amount of time I can use it has helped a lot.
gave good advice and it is working
i had hand surgery. carpal tunnel and 2 trigger fingers. they let me watch and showed me what was wrong and the fix. they were excellent!! top marks!
Dr. N. Kazmers and his staff are professional, calm/collected, energetic, cohesive and made me feel like I, even as a patient, was actually part of the care team. Rachael (NP) and Leslie Ann, are very involved in my care.
I've noted in other surveys that I appreciate Dr. Kazmers for actually consulting with the referring MD and the one who did the nerve testing. I find that a rarity, and can but won't cite examples within the University Health System.
Dr Kazmers is always professional while showing an interest in what I have to say.
Uncomfortable. Felt like I wasn't being heard. Doctor would cut me off during my explanations and I felt some if the things I was describing was dismissed. Also felt like I was being talked down to.
Dr Kazmers was exceptional and empathic
Dr. Kazmers is a very good listener. He involves you with each step of the treatment process and explains the recovery timeline.
Very professional and knowledgeable

Dr. Kazmers is very knowledgeable, competent and kind.
When I asked for numbing spray they immediately accommodated. All questions were thoroughly answered.
Unfortunately, this visit included bad news of an additional surgery. My doctor did a good job of explaining why I needed the surgery. I did feel a little bit rushed and didn't quite have a chance to ask all the questions I needed to.
Very kind and patient.
I felt he cared and wanted to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed during the procedure. I could feel he was confident and had the experience needed to do the surgery.
Great experience. I hope he gets to see the earlier comment I gave
Dr. Kazmers has twice now fixed trigger finger in my right hand on different fingers. He is fast when he gives the injection and causes as little pain as possible. I can tell he cares about my comfort and truly wants to help resolve any hand problems. He is the best! Dr Kazmers took his time to listen and to explain. He was patient and knowledgable. I determined via our conversation that I would be in good hands.
This was for a second opinion. i felt like the doctor was more informed than the other doctor and was in line with what my opinion was.
I had many questions (dumb and otherwise) and both Dr. Kazmers and Rachel, Nurse Practitioner, were understanding & informative.

He knows what he's doing and there's no doubt in my mind he cares about his work and patience well being. 10/10 recommend
This was an incredible experience. The staff was kind, thorough, timely, and covered all of our questions and concerns with care. We left feeling like we had a great plan moving down the path to full recovery.
Doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and had exceptional bedside manner
Every one in the process was professional and very attentive. It was a V.I.P. Treatment throughout the visit.
Dr. Kazmer was completely dismissive And made me feel extremely misunderstood. His bedside manner in which he communicated my treatment plan was very poor. I'm happy to explain the whole experience if it helps it not happen to someone else.
Dr Kazmers was very personable, caring, and took time to listen to me and included me in the decisions.
Dr. Kazmers was really great, explained things well and listened to my concerns.
everything was great
Dr. Kazmers was very nice although couldn't really help me with the concern I had at this time.
personal reasons for not doing anything. I will call him when I feel different or if it gets worse
He is very knowledgeable and explains all the options carefully so you have a full understanding of what is needed. He is kind and a good listener
Dr. Kazmers is an excellent Doctor. I am grateful that we were able to schedule with him for an unexpected surgery. He is respected by his peers and I have had excellent results with my healing.. Needing surgery is never fun, but Dr. Kazmers and Staff have given me wonderful care and I don't hesitate recommending him.
Dr. Kazmers, listens to you, takes the time to explain in language I could understand. He has a gentle manor. I give him a 10 out of 10. He knows what he's doing.
Doctor Kazmers he's probably one of the nicest doctors you could work with as he will answer all your questions and he's very friendly and knowledgeable. We've been around a lot of doctors at the University and he rates right up there with the best. Thank you for doing the five trigger finger releases.
Dr. Kazmers explains the procedure and the expected outcome. He exhibits confidence in his ability which translates to my confidence in a positive outcome.
Dr. Kazmers has been great! He seems very concerned with the success and full-recovery of my hand. Thanks!
It was short and pleasant, with our masks couldn't see how good looking he was.
Dr. Kazmers is great. He made sure I understood everything.
