You will not find another ophthalmologist that is as thoughtful, courteous, caring or as knowledgeable as Dr. Norman Zabriskie. I have been seeing him for many years and he has kept me seeing longer than I ever thought I would. He really knows his stuff and is a pleasure to have him working with me. A great doctor, eye surgeon and a great person in general.

Dr. Zabriskie is the BEST Doctor for several reasons. First foremost he is a leader in his field as is EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Alas, he is very very friendly as well as professional. He ALWAYS thanks me for coming several times during each visit. He is very organized and sees patients in a timely manner but you never feel like he is "rushing " you through the visit. As someone who was in the hospital for 3 months I encountered MANY Doctors from many fields and he is in the very top of my list!

Dr. Zabriskie diagnosed my glaucoma 20 years ago and under his care, it has not progressed and I am doing just fine. He compares my visual field tests each time and is so supportive. I told him that he has held it at bay and he gave me the credit for the results because I have been faithfully doing the drops as prescribed.
This excellent doctor saved my eyesight for me. I am eternally grateful.

I love Dr. Zabriskie. I've been seeing him for three years and he has always provided great care. His office staff are incredible as well. (Kari & Karen specifically) Dr. Z will always go to great lengths to listen and come up with solutions for what you're experiencing. In 2019 I had been going to the SLC VA and became extremely frustrated with the lack of care in treating my Glaucoma. Carrie was able to get me an appointment with Dr. Zabriskie. Dr. Zabriskie performed surgery on my right eye which had lost most of my peripheral vision and later that year he performed surgery on my left eye. With out his skills, I would be totally blind.

Excellent doctor. Just need to get him to come see me a lot sooner. We arrived to the office an hour ready. My husband had no TV or window to look out to entertain himself while waiting for me. Total hour from going inside office & getting out about 1 hour 30 mins. Dr took his time to explain things satisfactorily. I wished my husband was present then. Dr Zabriskie saved my left eye vision through microsurgery after Bascom Palmer and their top glaucoma specialist understated the urgency of my problem. I have had approximately 20 followup examinations during which Dr Zabriskie makes certain the benefit of the left eye surgery remain excellent and that the right eye does not develop a problem. We drive round trips of 800 miles to see him and will continue to do so.

Dr. Zabriskie has always taken the time to answer my questions.
This part of my answers refer to Dr Zabriskie, who is a pro, a very busy expert. There is an urgency in my visits with him-I sometimes hesitate a bit to ask questions because I don't want to hold him upI know he cares and is very good at what he does. My progress seems slow but steady; I just don't want to lose any more of my sight to glaucoma. I guess I'm not clear with the overall plan for mitigating my disease.

All of the health providers I saw were terrific. They included Dr. Zabriskie, his assistant who recorded information, Mike, and also the tech who did my FV test.

I met Dr. Gulati who checked my eyes & also re-checked my eye pressure. He suggested a Lasor treatment for my right eye, And said to see what Dr. Zabriskie recommended. Dr. Zabriskie also suggested Lasor treatment. Appt. Is scheduled in Dec. (which is the earliest appt. Available at this time.) He was pleasant and cordial.
I felt the Dr. Listened to my concerns and took time to go over previous visits. He asked for my input which was very helpful. It helped to put my mind at ease as to follow up care. Thank you for this team.

I've been seeing Dr Z for about 10 years. He Is awesome, always helps me understand options when we're deciding on a course of action.
My prior Opthamologist moved to Midwest and he was great with difficult eye conditions - glaucoma, retinal issues and cataract surgery. Worried I wouldn't find a doc, checked Moran and read Dr.Zabriskie's background. I was glad he saw new patients and specializes in glaucoma, etc. Liked other doctor who works with him I forgot his name!

I feel I have received excellent care each time I have visited the Moran Eye Center. However, I am very concerned about the excessive drooping of my eyelid. In the morning the eyelid falls over my eye and presents difficulty in seeing properly. I have mentioned this to the nurse each time I have come for a visit and have also mentioned it to Dr. Zabriskie but have not received any positive indication as to how this can be corrected. My eye also seems to not be able to open as fully as it did prior to the surgery.

This is about the 1st time there was a delay before I was taken to David for pic of the back of my ere, Kari came and indicated I had been directed to the incorrect person & she took me back to be directed to Becky, who took the required photo. Then for the 1st time I was directed to Rick for a color photo of what he called a "freckle" at the back of my left eye. Appt. With Dr. Zabriskie all in all went smoothly.

After being treated for glaucoma close to 10+ years, this was my first time I felt I was cared for.
I so appreciate Dr. Stoddard and Dr. Zabriskie. I know my eye care is the very best because of them. I would not think of going any place else for my eye care. I trust them 100% with my eyes.

Dr Zabriskie is definitely a tremendous asset to the Moran Eye Center. I have nothing but great things to say about being under his care. I trust his judgment totally. He presents everything to me to consider and let's me know what his recommendations are, but also allows me to choose the direction of my treatment. All the care workers there are exemplary.
Asked for mono vision in right eye of +1.0 to +1.25. Turned out to be +2.0. No explanation of why 1.25 not achieved.

I should have mentioned this to Dr. Zabriskie when I was there. Dr. Zabriskie is the best! before I saw Dr. Zabriskie however I saw a fellow. The fella was very nice but had not read through my history because he referred to my vision loss as severe glaucoma. No one has ever called my glaucoma condition severe before and I mentioned that my other doctors said it was due to retina ischemia and he sounded surprised by that.
