ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers always shows genuine attentiveness to my concerns and offers thoughtful and meaningful advice. In addition to being a very skilled surgeon, he shows that he truly cares.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI dont know if it was intended but the doctor made me feel like an idiot and that I was just wasting his time. From start to finish I think I spent 10 minutes there and that included check in. I honestly wouldnt go back even if I did need further treatment.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers is caring, attentive and through in his explanation of the next steps to take with my situation.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERGreat trust in Dr Chalmers.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers is a fantastic physician. He really cares about his patients and makes sure that you understand what is going on with your health and gives you all the information you need to improve your outcome. I highly recommend Dr. Chalmers!
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERVery smart doctor.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERVery personable and engaging; very honest with explanations and recovery expectations
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers is a caring and experienced physician. He listens to my concerns and suggests options for me.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHe is a unique expertise out of this world ! I could never use another Ortho shoulder Dr ! later he will do the right srm that PA at intermountain broke main muscle tore up my arm tore tendons and tote rotator again . He started crying and thought why , he had the wrong patient . Dr Bryan said it was nothing , like the massive tear that Dr Chalmers just repaired . i begged Dr Bryan to do MRI on my left arm which he tore putting a plate in humorous bone . I went to him overcten yrs he said no not torn . It hurt so badly I went to IMC they undislocated arm right and said he must be nuts big tear . so since 2023 of mar leaving ER at IMC having surgery my clothes purse were lost . I drove home in a hosp gown . called Dr Bryan said i do have a tear in right and left . He blew it off! He said wait ten yrs . you are tuff! I liked Dr Bryan but he lied to me . My PT and I knew there was a big tear . It was UOf U Dr Chalmers vetified massive tear ! He should called Dr Bryan tell him tear !
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERHighly recommend!!!
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHe was very professional and caring! Easy to understand and trustworthy! He greeted my wife and me with curtesy and respect! Explaining everything in detail and gave us solutions to my problems!
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERGreat Doctor
PRIMARY CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTERDr Chalmers presented options for our son's surgical case on his shoulder in a very clear format. Our son plays baseball and the surgery was key to helping him recover on the timeline needed for him to return to play. He accomodated us and helped us to make an informed decision on what procedure was best for his case. We were so impressed with how the procedure went, the follow up care of the hospital staff post-op and then just recently had the 3 week follow up post surgery. We are very happy with the outcome so far and the way we were treated. Our son wants to be a doctor now just like Dr Chalmers.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERVery personable, friendly and supportive
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERInvolved me in decision making as to what my options for surgery were. Explained very well.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERI really feel comfortable around him. He knows his stuff
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERVery knowledgable and helpful.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers was very patient and knowledgeable about my options. He did not try to push me in either direction but told me the outcome of what to expect going either direction. I have great faith in Dr Chalmers due to his immense knowledge of my situation. I would highly recommend Dr Chalmers for any orthopedic problem. Thanks Dr Chalmers for explaining just what has happened and what to expect after a shoulder replacement.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERUp front, direct, and professional.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERI believe Dr. Chalmers is a very good surgeon. It's been a good experience being one of Dr. Chalmers patients
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHis confidence that I will be able to return to the things I Love.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI just barely met him at the VA and he is going to be doing my shoulder surgery
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHe has always been very accommodating with me. He has done both my rotar cuff. One was a repair the other was a total reversal replacement
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERI appreciated Dr Chalmers pleasant disposition and attention to detail. I felt he was also thorough.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERVery professional and has a very extensive background. He ensures that you know what the procedure will entail
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers took time to answer all my questions. His suggestions were based on listening to me and what results I was wanting to achieve. I felt he was most interested in my health and activity levels and not expressing his own opinions.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers was very professional and he answered all of my questions in terms that were very understandable to me. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI don't think I've ever been as happy with a doctor as I have with doctor Chalmers
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers is so kind. He was very concerned about my progress. I am very pleased with his care and rehab of my shoulders. His care of my two shoulder replacements has changed my life in the best way ever! I can live a great life because of him! Thank you Dr. Peter Chalmers for caring about me and my future!
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERvery clear and concise
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERgood
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr Chalmers and all of the staff are wonderful to work with; so friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Chalmers did surgery on my right rotator cuff and did an excellent job. I very nearly had this surgery in California, but I am so happy that I waited long enough to have Dr. Chalmers do it.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERAlways explained in great detail any and all procedures before and after surgery/PT
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERI believe the doctor came in with his mind made up based on the tablet questions I answered prior from him seeing me. If I waited for almost a month to be seen by a doctor since my shoulder started hurting, there Is obviously something wrong with my shoulder. I am the the one In pain! I am the one afraid to move my arm because It hurts. Not always or every time buy it hurts. I have not been able to do things with this arm because I feel restricted with motions. Who wants to take PTO and go to an appointment for just because? Nobody! As a doctor, he should have listen to me as a patient and follow the next protocol. He made a decision based on the three moves he made me do. It Is like telling a depressed person, you are not depressed because you can smile or you look happy. Where is the service that was once given to patients? I could have said to him, I don't need X-rays, but again I trusted him and got the X-rays done since he apparently knows what he is doing. He wished me luck like it was some how taking a trip, applying for a new job. Very sarcastic. I know that this survey is going nowhere. I do feel the need to voice my experience because something needs to be done to better the service. By the way, he said I see nothing wrong with your shoulder. He didn't gave me the option of the MRI until he saw that I was frustrated. After he said give it three weeks. I work as a crime victim advocate. When a victim tells me. He/ she hit me, I believe it. I don't say. I don't see bruises, or I believe you are okay. Conclusion: please do better by believing the patient about their concerns. Try to set up a plan for the human being that is paying a lot of money for the " treatment" I was looking forward to seeing him. Well back to square one except I am negative who knows what $$$$$.$$Do better! Be better!
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTEREverything was good
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERGreat
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers was very cordial and sat down with me and answered all of my questions. I had reversed shoulder replacement surgery on my left shoulder on[DATE REMOVED]. The entire process from admission to this appointment was remarkable. Every scheduled event and procedure was executed without any complications. All of the attending medical staff were conscientious, caring and very professional. The results from the surgery were beyond my expectations, with a minimal amount of pain and my recovery to this point has been much better than I expected due to the great work of the two Physical Therapist (Matt and Chuck). I put off this surgery for some time because or the bad reports I had received about the limitations and complications from shoulder replacement surgery. But, I had nothing to worry about because Dr. Chalmers and his medical team and the University of Utah Hospital Orthopedics Department are the best one can find and I recommend them for any shoulder problems.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI am already recommending staff and clinic to others
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERGave me all the time I needed to ask any questions I had. Clearly great knowledge of relevant anatomy and even of the problem necessitating my visit. And I left with the confidence that he will be able to surgically repair same and have scheduled my surgery. I had never met Dr. Chalmers, I'm sure glad that I did
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr Chalmers was the best experience I've had. He saved my life as I've known it.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers is the best physician I have ever see, and I have seen a lot but nothing like him.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERGood experience all the way around with PA and Dr. Chalmers.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERThe doctor came highly recommended and I found him to be very helpful and trustworthy.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers is amazing. He is well respected for his competency and his bed side manner is where he really shines. He never appears rushed and takes his time to listen¿
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHe is the best! Very much on top of all aspects of care! Grateful to have found Dr Chalmers. Again I traveled from MT to have my surgery done my Dr Chalmers. It was well worth the extra effort and expense.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHe is very thorough and does a great job explaining options.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDrChalmers was very informative and explain things so that I would understand what was going on
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERKind yet business-like. Spent the time we had efficiently diagnosing my problem and establishing a treatment plan. He related to me quickly. I appreciate his manner and how he carefully explained complex issues, and I enjoyed the diagrams he drew to clarify things for me.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHe was very thorough in his explanations and options available.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERCannot thank Dr. Chalmers enough for getting back to full function after surgery. I was in so much pain before and it's amazing to be able to work out and do the things I enjoy again nearly pain free.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERGreat doctor. Always professional and listens and cares for needs of the patient.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers has been very patient in explaining my options, my recovery process, and the expected results. Highly recommend Dr Chalmers.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers knows his stuff. He always looked busy. When it came time to explain and take care of my injury he was very good about it. Straight forward person which is a quality I admire. Thank you !!
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI truly cannot say enough about what an excellent surgeon/ provider Dr. Chalmers is. I trusted him completely with my rotator cuff repair and he did not let me down - not once! He is thorough in his research and explanation of the procedure and his rationale. He genuinely cares and it shows!
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers was impersonal and offered neither a possible explanation for symptom onset nor a professional recommendation regarding course of action. He did alternatives for me to pursue but was otherwise detached from pursuing a diagnosis.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERAll the time we were talking to him he looked at my daughter , not at me, & I am the patient.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers is great. He has replaced both shoulders and they are great. He answers questions and makes me feel that I am important. I would highly recommend Dr Chalmers
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERVery engaged
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERSuperb! Fantastic surgeon and doctor.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI have seen Dr. Chalmers for several arm issues. As a baseball player, there's nobody I trust more with my arms. He listens and takes extra steps to make sure I'm confident in his diagnosis and treatment.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERGave the information to me on what needed to be done and let me decide what treatment I wanted
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERThe Best
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERHe was very kind and personable. I felt like he was really helpful and explained things so well. Once he explained the diagnosis, it just clicked and made sense that the pain I had been feeling was because of that.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERVery good
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERExcellent outcome, very happy.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERGreat Doctor. Caring and understanding.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr Chalmers is the best- would highly recommend him fir any ortho needs!
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Peter Chalmers is probably one of the Kindest and Most Caring surgeons I have ever met. He radiated a genuine concern and level of attention for me as a patient I have rarely seen by a physician. I thank GOD my son talked me into cancelling my appointment with the surgeon in Price and having my procedure moved from the Castleview Hospital to the U of U facilities. I think I will have to give Dr. Chalmers the nickname "MY ALLSTATE DOCTOR!" I feel I am in GOOD HANDS WITH DR CHALMERS!!! Thanks!!
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERYou all have such a high standard no one else can come close. The quality is the best.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers was very patient, thorough, and knowledgable. He answered all my questions, explained options, identified risks and likely outcomes, etc. He inspired tremendous confidence.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERGood
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Charlmers was amazingly thorough and very kind. He LISTENED to all my concerns and explained my options and explained each options thoroughly. I feel like I've made an informed decision and I feel calm and good about it. I'm 71 and the team of Dr. Monson, Dr. Skinner and Dr. Chalmers are the nicest, most thorough and smart group I could ever imagine. I get stressed out seeing most my Doctors, even though all my doctors are nice and very good at the U OF U Medical Centers But these Doctors are really that awesome!!!
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERGood
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers and his resident/fellow were both very attentive, informative, and answered all of my questions.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmer is obviously very skilled and intelligent. He does not, however, shy away from saying he does not know the answer to a question. That creates more trust in doctor than one who tries to come up with an answer to every question.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERI'm the mother of this patient and I love that he speaks not just to mom but actually asks the patient how he is doing and what he is doing. Amazing with my son through this.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERI've been having this issue for many years. Dr. Chalmers was the first doctor I saw that actually gave me options for treatment and seemed to care that I was in pain. I didn't have to convince him I was in pain. He is very kind and caring. Wish I could have a doctor like him for my primary care.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERGood
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERExtremely knowledgeable. And explained all of my questions
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers was to the point with his questions about my condition, he listened, performed a thorough exam, and then provided me with his professional opinion and a couple options to choose from for treatment. I was really happy with my care
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers has been terrific across the full arc of my care: pre-op; performing the surgery; and post-op follow-up. I could not be more pleased with the care he provided or the outcome.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERI do recommend you all to everyone
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers was great and my results far exceeded my expectations
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHes Perfect!
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERVery great and professional doctor
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers is a wonderful doctor! Ive always trusted his expertise and felt cared for through out my surgerys!
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERThe previous review states it all! He didn't spend enough time to even figure out what was going on with me.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERHe is an exceptional clinician and a he has a great bedside manner. I have referred many others to Dr Chalmers and UofU Orthopedic Surgery.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERI saw a CT scan of my left shoulder. It was so gross and messed up after I crushed it. The fact that Dr Chalmers could put it back together and make it work shows his skills as an orthopedic surgeon.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERThe personal post-op contact and his expressed interest in the patients well being is most amazing.
University Orthopaedic CenterMy experience has been excellent!
South Jordan Health CenterDr. Peter Chalmers was honest with me regarding my complex medical issues. He cared about my opinion and provided me with options. His honesty and caring meant a lot to me. I would recommend him without hesitation.
South Jordan Health CenterDr. Chalmers is very professional, while having a caring attitude.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERThe information provided was delivered with a great deal of care and concern for me and my understanding of the injury.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERdr. chalmers wasn't hurried on fixing the injury with surgery, but rather try physical therapy and injections. (i liked that decision)
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERVisit was to brief in my opinion. After this visit was finished I felt I should have made the trip to visit in person.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERWhat can I say he and his team are fantastic!
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr Chalmers is the most caring and provides the absolute best medical services available FABULOUS
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers gave me a couple of options that we discussed together to come to an agreeable solution to try to avoid surgery.

ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERAlways a god experience
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERAfter my appt., I was supposed to receive an order for physical therapy and schedule a follow-up but no one reached out.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers was attentive to my questions and answered all questions that I had in a respectful manner.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI respect his adherence to appointment times, and willingness to consult via zoom. Recovery from my medical procedure far exceeded my expectations. Dr. Chalmers pushes the boundaries to find better ways to make the surgery less invasive, with a quicker recovery.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERFantastic Doctor! Very caring and confident, made us feel like we were in great hands and well taken care of.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI recently had an appointment with Dr. Chalmers. While he wasn't especially talkative or warm, I do believe he's knowledgeable and capable in his field. Sometimes personalities differ, and although the interaction felt a bit distant, I still have faith that I'm in good hands medically. Just something to keep in mind if you prefer a more conversational or personable approach in a doctor.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERVery informative and helpful for my decision. Thank you
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHe's very professional and knowledgeable. I feel listened to.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers is a brilliant surgeon, and his follow-up care, short-term and long-term, is excellent.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI'm very pleased. I was referred to Dr. Chalmers to do my shoulder surgery! He did a precise, excellent job and many of my caretakers and healing have marveled at the great job he did. In my discussions with him I always know where I stand in terms of my healing process. He is clear and succinct and concerned. An excellent practitioner! I'm very grateful!
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERVery knowledgeable and very good surgeon
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers is a very caring doctor and is very knowledgeable about his practice and cares about the health of his patients. Every option is given to a patient and he is not pushy at one option in particular and lets his patients help in making the right decision for them.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers came into my appointment well -known what I was going through, using his specialty in ways that wlll lift my torn muscles into a nice approach. I'm in such pain and difficulty, I wish I could get it done quicker, but I understand. There are loads of folks probably going what I'm going through, maybe even worse. Dr. Chalmers' issues was way ahead of my knowledge. There were a few questions I'd forgotten during our time together. Sometimes, my mind doesn't work right. But Dr. Chalmers' does.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERPeter N Ch, I thought he was an excellent doctor, thank you [TRANSLATED]
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers has been been awesome to deal with and he has been great in explaining my shoulder issue to me in pure laymen terms that anyone could understand, he also informed me of research that has been done on shoulders and it was really good to hear!!!
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERi still want to talk to him again about surgery on my shoulder. I'll make another appointment after I see Dr. Petron.
PRIMARY CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTERHe was very knowledgeable and was great at explaining what steps were needed to fix my son's elbow.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERSeemed knowledgeable and frank in discussing the options.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERThank you for the quality of care from the begging to phone call to the follow up care after treatment
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr Chalmers is kind compassionate. He treats me with respect. He's an excellent surgeon. I'm a Veteran and I choose Dr Chalmers over the VA.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers is one of the rare (unfortunately) medical doctors that has exceptional communications skills.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers knowledge and understanding was comforting to me after year of receiving care that was effective. He was to the point and interested in wanting to hear what I had to say not wanting to show me everything he knows. He took time before coming into the room to see me to review my information and know what had been performed and was able to assess my current set quickly. I truly appreciated his follow up car and concern for my well being.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERA stellar, honest, and good Doctor. I appreciate his honesty and his logic. He listened and he also explained to me my issues. This is a good man.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERThank you for the outstanding care.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERI have no intention to consult anyone else. My trust in Dr Chalmers is well established
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers is very friendly and professional. He explained my options and ensured I had the information so I could make a clear decision.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers is kind, knowledgeable, and very professional. He is good at explaining what is going in terms that I understand. I highly recommend him.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERSeemed very knowledgeable.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI saw Dr. Chalmers for rotator cuff and tendon repair. I would absolutely see him again if I needed more work done on my other shoulder. A very gracious and kind man that gives you his absolute attention and a wonderful surgeon.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERVisit with Dr Chalmers was amazing! I'd call it a miracle, but that sounds a bit goofy. I came in after months of pain, had NONE during his exam, and little since - miraculous to me! WOOHOO!! He Also helped me understand there is nothing broken or damaged in my shoulders, not a candidate for surgery. but also not likely to make em worse by using, and they are likely to heal on their own.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERProfessional and caring
PRIMARY CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTERNo question was dumb. Was thorough in answering all of them and making sure we understood his answers.
South Jordan Health CenterGood
South Jordan Health CenterVery impressed with Dr. Chalmers knowledge and approach to diagnosing shoulder issue, and reviewing treatment options/ outcomes.
University Orthopaedic CenterExcellent! Dr. Chalmers is fantastic - one of the best doctors I have met. He himself took out a suture that he could have delegated to a nurse. Listened carefully to my challenges and anticipated correctly what I was hesitant to say - and took actions that try to address them. Superb experience! I could not be happier with how Dr. Chalmers has treated me throughout.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmer was in the room less than five minutes. His resident doctor was there 1-2 minutes before and 1-2 minutes after. While I have trust that he knows his job very well and I am in good hands, it felt like it was very rushed. I felt if I had questions I needed to ask them quickly because everyone was in a hurry to be somewhere else. I would be interested to know what block of time was allotted for my appointment. Because my appointment was for 12:15pm (for which I was early) and I was heading out to my car by 12:25). For a surgery consultation? I felt very rushed.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERGood
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERVery hard to hear him speaking. face masks suck!!!
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERThe most intelligent and excellent physician on the planet. I am very grateful for everything he has done for me.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers certainly cares. Post surgery he gave me several options and we discussed them. I chose one of them and that will let us know where we stand. I still believe he is one of the best, even though my collar has ended up with pain, afterwards.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERGreat
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERHe used his own personal experience of hiking the same mountrain in Maine, Mt. Katahdin, that I was planning to hike. I broke my collarbone [DATE REMOVED] but when he told me at the [DATE REMOVED] appointment, that after reviewing all my XR's, by [DATE REMOVED] I should be able to do 90% of the climb and only the scramble portion at the top would be too hard,I was very much encouraged to keep my plans intact because I am iusing a longer less skilled route. That meant ther wortld to me in the moment.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERWas very pleased.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERAll our appointments ran on time with little to no waiting. Dr. Chalmers was friendly and thorough, answering all our questions.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERBecause of my experience with Dr. Chalmers, I recommend to all of family & friends
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers is one of the best most caring physicians Ive ever been to. I would recommend him to anybody. No doctor has ever called me before or after a surgery to make sure I was OK like he did. He gets a 11 out of 10.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERIt was fine. I dont think Id necessarily recommend him, but it was fine.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers is professional and courteous. He explains results in a way I can understand.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERHe is the best. After years of bilateral shoulder pain and various surgeries, Dr. Chalmers skill relieved my pain and restored my mobility.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERHe already is recognized as a truly great surgeon. And he included me in his decision making after listening to my concerns. Id I had more than 2 thumbs, they would all be pointing up
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers was thorough and clearly explained what to expect. Successfully performed my surgery.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERI would recommend him and he is such a great doctor. Nice visited with him, very supportive. Very caring and respect. Really does listen and understand.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERExcellent shoulder surgeon
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERThe visit seemed very rushed. It was awkward. He didn't explain much so I left not knowing any more than when I came, only that I had a choice between a shot & PT or surgery. He didn't seem to favor surgery so I chose PT. When reading his note, I was taken back with his statement that he'd discussed this for a long time. NOT!
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI loved how informative Dr. Chalmers was. He really gave it to you straight and I really appreciate it.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERVery good experience

ORTHOPAEDICS CENTEROver All I was Happy with the visit.when I finally got the appointment
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERAll positive feedback see comments for everyone I wrote on first screen
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr Rothberg is kind, conscientious and not at all condescending. He doesn't act as though someone much more important is in the next room. Options are fully described, props and cons given.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers explained everything. He was not in a hurry to get to his next patient.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERHe was excellent at addressing my problem and concerns.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDoctor Chalmers has been great. He has shown concern about my injury and provided excellent care in repairing the damage. I have no problem in referring him to others.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERProvider spent very little time with me. I spent more time with his assistant and MA than with him.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERUpon deciding the course of action they both left the room to see about scheduling and never came back a nurse came in and told me they couldn't get us in that day because we traveled a bit which was fine, and took us to the scheduler but nothing more from the dr or PA
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers took the time to inject my non-surgical shoulder that had become symptomatic since my surgery. It was great to get this addressed at a post-op visit
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers and Bri were very gracious as was the xray technician.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers is honestly my hero as of now. He is very good at what he does and has a communication style that is perfect for me. I'm so grateful that I was referred to Dr. Chalmers for my shoulder.

ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHe is a caring, compassionate, exemplary orthopedic surgeon.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers is the doctor on the planet. He is awesome in all facets. I would recommend him to everyone.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHis ability to replace shoulder joints without cutting tendons is miraculous. I felt like I was back to normal in a month vs the tried and true method which requires multiple months in a sling along with physical therapy. I couldn't be happier with the speedy outcome of my surgery.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERVery attentive to my needs. Thanks
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers did my right rotator cuff repair 7 years ago it has been as good as new ever since. I highly recommend Dr. Chalmers and his team.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERI feel like I am with the best doctor that can do this surgery. He is always face to face with you when he talks to you about your health.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERChalmers was exceptional in explaining possible treatment and making me feel confident in what he was saying. His staff was super helpful & so kind. They truly went above and beyond

ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHe is courteous and listens well to his patients. He is very knowledgeable. I feel comfortable speaking with him regarding things that might be hard to express to anyone else.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERI explained in the first remarks.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers was professional. I took a CD to him so he could see my shoulder issue. He suggested a reverse shoulder replacement. He didn't seem to be all that concerned and wanted to know what I wanted to do. I felt somewhat rushed. I did not give him an answer. I will wait some time to see if the shoulder improves at all.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDoctor is reassuring
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERSee previous comments. I really didn't get much out of the visit. Seemed like a waste of time.
PRIMARY CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTERDr Chalmers was very respectively, kind and explained things clearly. Unfortunately, our other opinions we received did not match his diagnosis and we were left confused as to what he saw vs the others Drs we went to for another expert review.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERGood explain to me how it really is
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERAmazing doctor! Really knows what he is talking about, and cares about his patients. He made sure to explain everything that had happened to me, and the possible steps going forward. He was extremely attentive and answered any questions I had. Highly recommend!!
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERHe listens and cares about me as a person
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers is very conservative, something I have appreciated a great deal. Twice I have been carefully steered another direction from surgery, which I will eventually have to have. His caution has been appreciated, as well as his fine listening skills and careful exploration of alternatives.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers is very understanding regarding my break. I'm grateful he wants to look at my shoulder again in July.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDoctor was very thorough with his examination. Confirmed results of MRI and we developed a treatment plan to reduce the need, but did not rule out the potential for surgery later on. Very happy with the appointment results and relationship with the doctor.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERTalked to fast and didn't give me time to finish iPad or see and explain my MRI.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDR. CHALMERS DID A JOB EXPLAINING THE MRI AND THE POTENTIAL SUCCESS OF TREATMENTS.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERPlease note that all providers of care were helpful, courteous and prompt. I did wait 10 to see the doctor however I also had to get XRays, etc. So the 10 minutes stated early should not reflect poorly on the provider.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERHe is the best

SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERHe is a great Doctor!
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers takes his time with you. He explains all of the options and provides his professional opinion balanced with my input about my body. He is very polite and empathetic. I didn't know Dr. Chalmers given we moved to Utah at then end of June. I did get a second opinion from head of shoulder surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NY. Dr. Gulotta knows Dr. Chalmers and said he would let him operate on himself or his family. I feel like I am in good hands with Dr. Chalmers. 10/10!
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI felt confident in choosing Dr Chalmers - he was knowledgeable and presented medical care choices for me to choose from to deal with my situation. He answered all my questions in a way that was understandable.

SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers is a very personable and friendly doctor. He explained everything fully and clearly.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI never had a Dr. followed up on surgery for 2 years. Dr. Called me and spent 10 minutes asking questions about my recovery.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHe's the Goat!
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERThis person is fantastic. Please ask any questions he will provide an answer. Good or bad he will give you the options and let you decide. He is very good and very busy.

ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERChalmers is one of one, he's the goat
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers is amazing. He takes the time to explain what's happening with my joint and the repair.
PRIMARY CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTERDr Chalmers is very thorough in explaining my case. He helped me to see the difference in surgical procedures and helped my parents to decide with me on the best plan. He was truly specialized in shoulders which is what I needed help repairing to get back to baseball. I loved having him as my doctor and appreciated everything he did for me. Without his training and experience, I don't think I would be ready and healed up. I'm grateful for him.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI am very pleased with the care I am receiving
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERVery good surgeon
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERHe didnt explain his conclusion as to my prognosis and he didnt explain in any detail what treatment he recommended nor did he mention any follow up.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI had complete confidence in his skills and was not disappointed. Excellent surgeon with an excellent team
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers has been very professional and knowledgeable. Surgery was very successful and after two years he followed up with a phone call and an appointment to check on me. Absolutely amazing!!!

SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERGreat guy! I feel he cares about me feeling comfortable and safe after my surgery. I like that he called the day ater my surgery
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers is a fantastic physician. I drive down from the Logan area to slc because I trust Dr. Chamlers. His bedside manner and the way he gives all the information to make a decision as a patient. My husband and my daughter have both been seen by him. I work in rural healthcare and I tell people if they need to get their shoulder looked at to go to Dr. Chalmers.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHe is a wonderful doctor.
PRIMARY CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTERDidn't love his bedside manner. Made it seem like I didn't have many options and then looked at me as if I was dumb asking more questions.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers listened carefully to my comments and concerns. He remembered what happened in my last visit. He was sitting attentively, looking me in the eyes. I felt I was in very good hands
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI saw Dr Chalmers throughout my entire appt. He explained all aspects of the surgery and recovery. He showed me the before and the 3 sets of x-rays taken after the surgery. Dr Chalmers is amazing. I will definitely recommend him.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERExcellent.
University Orthopaedic CenterDr. Chalmers was absolutely outstanding and incredibly helpful with a orthopedic issue that went undiagnosed for the last four years even though I was seen by several orthopedic doctors.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers looked at the X-ray and showed me some area that showed some possible issue, the problem was not there, I was having pain in a different area and try to show him where it was. All he said was that's strange. I tried to convey my concerns about it and the pain radiating in my neck and shoulder muscles but he said nothing about that. He asked if I want a shot in that area and I said yes and he and his assistant left. I thought they were going to get the shot but no, he was just done, no explanation no instructions and what I should do and no thoughts about what I was trying to convey to him. A woman came in and took me to get scheduled for an appointment to get the shot. I had no idea. I thought the Doctor would have came back and explained what to expect with the shot and what to do if it doesn't help. It literally was the worst exam I have ever had at the University. My concerns and issues were not met, not even close.
South Jordan Health CenterI really like the Doctor. He is excited about a good outcome, seems to genuinely care about you while being professional at the same time.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTEROne of the few orthopedic surgeons in the country who is ahead of the curve. Yet his humility and understanding almost seem contrary to his stature. A rare breed
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHe made me feel safe and worked carefully with me to help address my issues without causing me more discomfort
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI wouldn't ever go to anyone else. Dr. Chalmers does amazing work and he cares deeply about details

ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERwe were there for post op I would have like explanation of exercises
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERthe dr seemed very intelligent but not very personable and certainly didn't explain what he thought my treatment should be. he left abruptly without much information about what steps I should take next. any information from him was only obtained through my questioning him. he was quite socially inept.

ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers was very professional and knowledgeable.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI was surprised when my appointment wasn't with Dr. Chalmers but with his athletic trainer. It was my first post-op appointment and all the paperwork and MyChart said Chalmerswould have been nice to know it was the trainer and not the doctor.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERIm very happy for a really good hospital

SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers is very knowledgeable, and I am very appreciative of his honesty with me and how kind he was. Fortunately, or unfortunately, surgery was not for me and I commend him for not just taking my money and do something that likely wasn't going to help my complex case. Very good man and his team are great.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI previously commented on this but I am happy to repeat. Dr. Chalmers is an amazing physician and surgeon who goes out of his was to ensure extensive care is provided. A part of his care that is always appreciated is his ability to take the time to extensively answer all questions from myself or my wife.

SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERGreat Doctor. Very knowledgeable and educated in the latest and best treatment options.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers was very attentive and seemed sincerely concerned that he was able to give an accurate diagnosis. SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr Chalmers came highly recommended to me from previous patient. He was very professional and did not disappoint

SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERThere is no one better
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERHe is the best!
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERNo issues
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERHe's a very good provider. I made the appointment because the Emergency Department told me to follow up with my shoulder provider. The appointment was speedy quick because it felt like I wasn't supposed to make it. I understand that my condition is chronic but 5 years between dislocations is a significant amount of time (for me at least) and I wish I had been taken more seriously. I'm glad to be doing PT (since it's what I asked for), but I wish that my appointment had been treated differently.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers was awesome. He gave me options which I have not been given by other doctors. He genuinely cares and wants to help you get better if he can.

SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERProfessional and friendly attention [TRANSLATED]
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers was recommended to me, I looked at his profile and I watched his videos explaining different types of procedures. I felt good about him and that was more than confirmed at the appointment. I felt very confident having him doing my surgery.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERThank you, Dr. Chalmers for helping me to understand a very complicated situation. I sure appreciated your patience and concern.

ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERGreat physician! Looked at MRI images with me and listened. In the end it was quick but exactly what I expected! Actually seeing a doctor on my first time in an office was bonus. SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERI trust the UofU
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr Chalmers has been an amazing doctor. He listens and explains everything very well. From surgery to follow up care, he couldn't have been any better. I'm so grateful I was referred to him. Best experience with doctor I've ever had.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers isn't exactly new to his skills at returning good feelings to a shoulder. He put it out there in a very calm, but confident, way, leaving me with something to look forward to once I got past my surgery. Sure, I could have used some better recovery, but that's on me.

SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDoctor Chalmers reviewed my file and was ready when I arrived for my appointment.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERA great and positive experience, for a not so positive time in my life. Dr. Chalmers listened and explained my condition thus saving me from therapy that would have been wasted as my condition would have not improved with out his specialty helping get past torn rotator cuff

PRIMARY CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTERNever have I dealt with such a rude doctor. He had no compassion or understanding for the health of my child. He didn't offer any solutions, spoke down to me when I asked questions, didn't once address my 15 year old daughter who the appointment was for and belittled her to me in front of her. I wish we hadn't gone at all. Left the appointment more discouraged than ever.

ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERwas very pleased with my visit and care I received. I would highly recommed!
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI had questions after the visit. Dr Chalmers completely answered those
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERhe is personable and patient, seems like her really cares
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI was excited to"show" the Dr my progress but understand why a phone call was necessary
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers is always very professional and eager to answer all of my questions and concerns on my post-surgical care and what to expect as I continue to recover from surgery. I appreciate his patience and truly feel like he cares about my overall care and quality of life. I would highly recommend Dr. Chalmers to anyone.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI was able to schedule an initial exam for my shoulder within 3 days of calling the clinic. After being seen by the NP, she referred me to Dr. Chalmers and was able to make an appointment with him within the next couple days. After being seen by the surgeon, I was scheduled for a rotator cuff repair the following week. I'm very much impressed with the efficiency of the University Hospital and Clinics, especially orthopedics.
University Orthopaedic CenterThe staff are all nice and caring. The doctor took time to explain and show results of my test and answered all my questions at the time of visit.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers had poor bedside manner. as the parent, he made me feel like it was silly to have my daughter to be seen even though we were referred to him by another Ortho doctor because he specialized in shoulders. I didn't appreciate him making us feel like we were wasting his time. He just rushed through the appointment as if our time didn't matter. We didn't even know we were done being seen until the MA came in and said we needed to be scheduled for an MRI. There was lack of communication because she didn't even know what was being scheduled, I had to tell her. Overall, poor experience.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr Chalmers is an excellent surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone having shoulder surgery with no hesitation
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERJust plan on waiting to actually get in to see him.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERVery good
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTEROutstanding experience. Dr. Chalmers is first-rate. Could not be more satisfied.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERThis was a follow up for a second opinion. It was worth the 5 Hour drive
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr Chalmers is awesome. He really listens. He is very kind. He offered me a quick solution to the issues I brought to him.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDoctor Chalmers is an excellent surgeon. He is caring and makes sure you understand what is going to be done and what your recovery is going to be like.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon. The best!
PRIMARY CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTERDr. Chalmers is it good doctor he came in the first day to see my son's shoulder and explained everything to us and was very impressed with his actions and his way on talking the day of the surgery he came in he gave a step by step what was going on his crew was awesome also there's nothing bad to say all I have to say is that people should more give good feedback on primary children's hospital because that is the number one hospital in the state of Utah
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERI felt that Dr. Chalmers was courteous and interested in my concerns. He took the time to explain my issues in a way I could easily understand . He presented possible treatment options and also expressed concerns he might have with certain treatments. He followed up with a request for my PT to pass on progress notes so he could follow my progress. I appreciated his personal interest.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERVery professional, concerned, and extremely competent.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr Chalmers was straight forward and truthful to me. I appreciated his knowledge and truth. The facts are that any more shoulder surgery on either arm, could result in less motion, strength and more pain. I am happy enough with my surgery results and choose not to have more shoulder surgeries. Thank you Dr.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERVery helpful and encouraging.
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERExceptional from my first appointment to my last post op appointment.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERVery good, only issue was unable to get in the Salt Lake Ortho Center and had to travel to South Jordon
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERDr. Chalmers is already an outstanding practitioner, and made the transition to telehealth virtual visit with skill and ease. Thanks Dr. Chalmers
ORTHOPAEDICS CENTERExtremely glad I saw Dr. Chalmers! I had previously seen a physician unaffiliated with the U and had a less-than-optimal experience. Dr. Chalmers had fantastic bedside manner, I felt heard, his exam was incredibly thorough and efficient, he explained things, and I appreciated that he gave a rationale for his decisions. He recommended a specific PT based on the sport I do.
SOUTH JORDAN HEALTH CENTERDr. Chalmers was very kind and very thorough, explained everything to me.
