Dr. Christiansen is my hero! My vision-loss journey changed dramatically after my visit with him. He understood my visual impairment beyond just test results. I cannot thank him enough for the impact his critical thinking and thoughtful considerations have had on my life. Bitemporal hemianopsia resulting from brain tumor removal, was devastating; but losing driving privileges and independence was life-altering. Dr. Christiansen took the time to figure-out what my full visual field was with both eyes working together, not just looking independently at left and right eye vision- loss. I am 'on the road again' with full driving privileges restored, and I have Dr. Christiansen and Lisa Ord to thank for that reality. Life with permanent vision loss is difficult, but it became a lot easier with Drs. Christiansen and Ord on my team. Thank you for seeing me as a person, not just a bunch of test results.

Dr. Christiansen was very kind and listened to my problem in getting eye glasses to correct the double-vision. He spent extra time with me to make sure the prescription was absolutely correct. He knew so much more than some program bought for diagnosisHe used his mind and hands to make an eye prescription that worked.
