The patient rating score is an average of all responses on our patient experience survey. The rating averages scores for all questions about care from our providers. The scale on which responses are measured is 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score.
Patient comments are gathered from our patient experience survey and displayed in their entirety. For the convenience of our visitors, some patient comments have been translated from their original language into English while preserving their original meaning as accurately as possible. Patients are de-identified for confidentiality and patient privacy.

Excellent Dr. I am very pleased with him as a Dr and a person. Great bed side manner. I will recommend him to anybody needing the same type of surgery
Dr. Tashjian is a top notch doc IMO. From the first time that I met him at my pre-op appointment, to my latest follow-up, he has always made me feel comfortable and asked what my wants and needs are. It's been 6 months since my left shoulder replacement and everything has gone so well, that I asked him to do the same thing to my right shoulder. That in itself should show the trust and respect I have for Dr. Tashjian.
Dr. Tashjian is personable, knowledgeable, and very accomodating.
Dr. Tashjian is amazing, he listens, and discusses all issues and makes you feel as if youre his most important patient. I have recommended him to multiple neighbors & friends & they all have had the same experiences.
Questions were addressed and explained clearly and thoroughly. Every step was professional, courteous and efficient.
Dr. Tashjian s amazing, I will be having a total elbow replacement soon and feel confident in his ability to do it. I have talked to several doctors before Dr. Tashjian and none of them would even consider doing a replacement as they did not have the knowledge or skill to do it, but I have every confidence in Dr. Tashjian.
He is a great surgeon & very helpful
Could NOT do better ANYwhere else! PERIOD
Dr. Tashjian has a fantastic bedside manner, and exudes the type of confidence that only comes from years of demonstrated success.
Dr Tashjian made me feel that my surgery and recovery was very important

SUPERIOR in all regards!
good experience
Sometimes he doesn't seem concerned about my issues, but I still know he is trying to address them.
all very good
all aspects-perfect.
dr. Tashjian didn't seem to remember my situation. I had a hard time communicating the problem to him because I am very hard of hearing. my wife wasn't allowed to come with me & she usually does the communicating. I left there in no better shape than I got there in.
He's always in a big rush and talks very fast. it feels like he's trying to get through the appointment as fast as possible. You charge a lot of money for me to see a Dr. for 3 minutes.
I appreciated Dr. Tashjien's kindness & expertise.
Very satisfied with the Dr he has treated me before and when needed I will come back to him.
Dr. was direct, informative, kind, encouraging. Asked for my questions and concerns.
One of the best explanations of everything involved in the upcoming surgery I have ever encountered!
Care was great, although I feel like the doctor was extremely rushed, but I truly understand that they are bombarded with patients all day long.. other than that my experience was perfect.. I miss the days when doctors had more time and weren't being spread so thin having to treat one patient after mother so quick.. but I truly do Thank you! I know I am in good hands :)
As I said before Dr T is awesome & he really makes me feel he cares about how I am feeling.
Always a great experience with Dr. Tashjian.
I have seen multiple doctors for my shoulder and he provided clear and concise information. He addressed the questions that others could not. Thanks Doc!
He is very knowledgeable & I really trust his opinion on what I should & should not do. He is the best

Dr. Tashjian was recommended as the best doctor for shoulder surgery and/or replacement. I had a complete replacement and after the nerve block wore off after about three days I was a little uncomfortable for 2-3 days then my shoulder made great progress in healing and being able to move it in a slow smooth fashion.
Dr Tashjian was friendly, helpful, and professional.

Great surgeon. Only fair with communication and showing empathy. Be prepared with all your questions and HOPE he'll take the time to answer to your satisfaction,
He is compassionate, thoughtful, articulate and easy to discuss worries and concerns with. He asks for your feedback and questions along then way. I would also say he is good at noticing a persons body language which I feel is important.
Dr. Tashjian is terrific. A highly skilled surgeon who is also very empathetic and personable - a rare combination in my experience. He takes the time to explain everything in understandable terms and is both patient and clear in answering questions.
Very very nice and explained well

Dr. T is the best in this field, this is the second surgery (different) I have received from him and would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Tashjian has my total respect. He is kind, thorough and is very adept at explaining the situation, procedures and follow-up. He has already operated on both me and my husband and we would never consider another provider.

I really like this doctor.
He literally takes a personal interest in your situation/injury.
Professional yet friendly. He explained my procedure well.
You could not find a doctor with more knowledge of the shoulder, and skills to repair it, than Dr. Tashjian.
After talking to Dr. T I have full confidence my shoulder will be better than ever, and I can get back to a normal life. After my consultation, he gave me hope that I can get back to normal, and I am looking forward to that!
I am very impressed with Dr. Tashjian
He good. Didnt have any problems with my shoulder.
Wonderful and very to the point
Dr Tasjian was awesome. He gave me the information I needed for the best outcome.
I wish I could have found him a year ago. I was told I had arthritis in my elbow and I had to just live with it(by a different Dr) , Dr Tashjian confirmed what I knew that it wasn't arthritis. I had a torn bicep tendon. He took the time to explain everything to me about the surgery. He is very thorough and definitely knows what he is doing, I am very very thankful and can't wait to be out of pain..
He is first rate.
As I indicated on page one, Dr.Tashjian has been kind, listened to my concerns and the steroid injections he has given me have provided good pain relief. I have absolutely confidence in the care he has given me.
He was very professional and also very informative by taking the time to explain the procedure and answering all of our questions.

I'm one year out from reverse shoulder surgery, my shoulder feels great and I have full range of motion. Very happy with the results. Dr. Tashian has answered all of my questions and has a great bedside manner
I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my surgery and healing progress. Can hardly wait to have the same done on the other side.
A very big thank you to Dr Tashjian, he made me feel as if I was his top priority, and listened to my questions and concerns
He is very thorough with exam update to evaluate change in status over the 2 years of my out-of-state residents. I should have made a direct inquiry of the updated x-ray results change of condition. My omission and at least somewhat to blame would be the lack of patient inclusion of experience while out of state residents of over 6 years has not encouraged much patient participation or inquiry.. so glad to be back again for treatment by Dr T and team including Kyle!
Am most appreciative of Dr Tashjian's efforts on my behalf. Have had a very positive outcome from surgery will continue therapy for a time to complete recovery.
Thank you for your being a hope filled second opinion for me. Anything more than I have now would be a blessing to me.

I felt "a part of."
I felt the doctor could have directed his analysis more towards myself than my husband who accompanied me to the appointment.
I've already recommended this Dr to those I know and I hope this survey will see how effective he is. He's a 12.

Superb care!
Great teleconference. All my concerns were addressed and all issues resolved.
I did not need them but for many better written documents about surgery, hints for post op recovery from shoulder surgery (sleeping, getting dressed showering, etc) would be helpful. I found good resources on OT issues on YouYube (EquipmeOT)
This practitioner is outstanding. I am myself a physician, who repairs brain aneurysms and have been treated by some of the finest orthopedic institutions in the United States, including the Steadman clinic in Vail. Dr. Tashjian exceeded all of my expectations and prior experiences. He Is truly the definition of a physician - scientist. A very good doctor intelligent he helped me a lot with my shoulder
Dr. Robert Tashjian is a remarkable orthopedic professional, and I am grateful to be in his medical care. His extensive research and comprehensive expertise in complex shoulder issues were a large reason we made the trip from out of state. I returned from Utah to my home state with confidence and peace of mind, knowing I am in Dr Tashjian's medical care. Dr Tashjian provided detailed answers to medical questions that stumped other orthopedic specialists we had previously visited. The assisting medical staff members were comprehensive in care and the receptionist and front desk staff were incredibly friendly and contributed further to our positive experience. Dr. Tashjian is a trusted choice for those seeking top-tier orthopedic care. He's one of the most brilliant and well-regarded shoulder specialists in the country. Very professional, caring and seems to be very knowledgable. We will know more after the surgery.
I wish I found Dr Tashjian before my first surgery so I didn't need to hope for him to be able to fix it. I have hope for my future again and Dr Tashian is the reason why. Even if he can't fix my shoulder completely, the fact that he would take the time to meet with me and try to figure it out means the world to me.
Excellent surgeon who is attentive to detail and who listens to the patient.

I feel Dr. Tashjian is an amazing, competent Doctor. However, waiting 50 minutes past my appointment time made me feel he was rushed, hurried to make up time, catch up. I understand and appreciate that he obviously needed more time with the patients before me. I just felt a bit rushed. I needed a bit more attention, alternatives, understanding and planning. I did my best to communicate my concerns, my special circumstances (I'm a full time care taker of my husband) and ask the appropriate questions. I felt a bit rushed into making life changing surgery in a very short time.
I trust Dr. Tashjian and his staff completely. My shoulder replacement went without a single pain and I can do everything with it now! Thank you so much!!
Dr. Tashjan is knowledgeable and experienced. Following his instructions made my Total Shoulder Surgery successfully. He's rated one of the best.
The Doctor explained my conditions in clear terms, and using a model of a shoulder. He described my treatment options and gave his recommendations. The appointment could not have gone better. I look forward to being Dr. Tashjian's patient in the future.
He is exceptionally gifted in repairing shoulders!
Just wish I could have a little more time with him for my questions ... His staff did answer my questions ....
Dr. Tashjian is outstanding in every way. Professional, skilled, empathetic, clear in his instructions and supportive.
Very pleased hes my doctor
He put me at ease right away from a considerable amount of concerns I had
Have had this procedure before on my other side (arthroplasty) with him and his team. Only slight room for improvement might be that with an overnight stay, I only ever saw him right before the procedure.
Dr. Tashjian is the man for shoulder difficulties.
Dr. Tashjian is clearly a knowledgable and technically superb shoulder surgeon. I was very satisfied with the pre-operative and operative care and with the explanations of the problem, the options and the risks. My only suggestion would be that better written materials should be prepared for peri- and post operative care. For example written or video instructions on ROM exercises would be helpful
He's a great doctor. I trust him.
Dr.Tashjian has been helping me for almost eight months with my shoulder pain and instability issues and has shown great consideration and care for my needs and condition. He is very thorough when explaining the plan of care, does not rush you though the appointment, and makes sure to answer all questions that you ask. I would recommend this provider to anyone who is struggling with elbow or shoulder pain. The shoulder/elbow doctors at the UofU Orthopedic Center said they would never give up finding the source and correcting my shoulder issues, where did others have in the past.
The absolute best for shoulder surgery!!!! Don't even think of going elsewhere.
As a patient who has experienced major problems with my spine, both shoulders and both knees and feet some care has been better than others. Gladly say Tashjian 's care on both of my shoulders or thereabouts, one with major surgery, has been consistently positive and successful.
Thank you
Dr T is serving as a Second opinion regarding an ongoing shoulder malady- I wish I could be seeing him as my primary orthopedic doc- but I live in California.
Excellent
Wish all doctors could be this good and kind
Complete understanding of my condition, answered questions concisely and politely in layman's terms.
Very clear in explanation of condition options and needs explained vet y well a near future plan of action well thought out and in consideration for other health issues. A functional and goal oriented plan in place with logical chance of success
Excellent: caring, listens, knowledgeable and communicates clearly
Dr. Tashjian makes a very good educated decision. He will go from the bottom to the top --a final decision that requires surgery or a different treatment. He is very aware of how expensive medical care is and does very well with consulting a patient like me. I just adores him!
Excellent
He was recommended to me. Now I know why. I have all confidence in my upcoming surgery.
I can not say enough good things about Dr. Tashjian. His skills in thinking outside the box are remarkable. He discovered my injury to be out of the ordinary and didn't turn me away. In his exam knew a solution and preformed the solution. I appreciate and am so grateful for his expertise in fixing my shoulder. I know I have a long recovery, but can already tell it will be as good as ever when it is completely healed. Thank you Dr. Tashjian!
He explained things very clearly so I could understand things.
Dr. Tashjian has always been a great listener and conservative in his treatments. He is honest and straight forward, cares deeply about the work he does!
Knows what he is doing, friendly.
I have received excellent care from Dr Tashjian, I would definitely recommend him and his team to anyone.
Dr Tashjian really is the best!
He is top-notch. My problem was with the pain management provided by the anesthesiologist for the last 3 days of the first 5 days after the surgery. It was pitiful!
Consummate professional. I will work with him again.
I needed a smaller reverse shoulder. He took maticulous care of me. He was very sure that was the problem before moving forward. If I had a problem with his orthopedic background Dr Tashjan would be the Dr I would call. He doesn't rush into making a final decision to operate.
very conscientious and understand about my need
this provider knows how to explains he doesn't beats around the bush he goes direct to the point but always give you alternatives which he says what ever you want I do for you health and well being I put my body in his hands no doubt .
Dr. Tashjian and his athletic trainer Kyle have been fantastic to me. I would recommend them both to anyone who asked me. Some of the best care I have ever received. They listen to myConcerns and make the best plan for me ensuring I am safe and not in terrible discomfort. Very Pleased with my experience.
Dr Tashjian didn't spend much time talking with me other than to assess my situation.
I very much appreciate the time that Dr. Tashjian spent explaining surgery and rehabilitation. I never felt rushed and he always spent time answering all my questions. Thank You very much. That was extremely helpful and needed.
the doctor and all his assistance are very helpful and professional. I was treated with respect.
dr Tashjian is amazing

Doctor was very intuitive of my past injuries.
Good
I've already highly recommended University Utah Orthopedic center and Dr. Tashjian and staff to alot of others in my area of Wyoming.
I like the provider. He seems knowledgeable and thorough.
very detailed conversation which I appreciated
Dr.Tashjian has gained my trust as one of the best surgeons in his area of expertise. I have made many recommendations of his skills for folks with shoulder and or elbow issues. He's the best!
Dr. Tajian is quite simply the best, calls me by name, shown sincere concern, and I never feel he rushes through our appointment.
Seemed rushed. Had some questions that I did not get a chance to ask.
Nothing but the best! I love my doctor!
Good
This was a 12week post op appointment. I was not having any issues, so basically a physical check of my range of motion & then okay advance on my PT.
Recommend Dr Tashjian highly.

Dr. Tashjian is a very caring Dr. I am 14 weeks post surgery and I feel well on my way to strength and mobility. Each time I see him he gives me confidence and assurance that my recovery is going well.
very professional
A superb Doctor. Conservative in his approach and treatment for various maladies. He recently performed surgery on a close friend. He received a shoulder replacement and has had an excellent result. You can do no better!
Dr. Tashjian always listens to my comments and then gives me his feedback on the best way to proceed in his opinion. He always cares about me as an individual and I trust him throughly with any procedure he recommends.
A very good experience, so happy that I was able to get into him. I have a lot of trust in him.
Dr. T is very supportive, very knowledgeable about treatment and options.
Dr. Tashjian explains all options very well and is very good at including me in treatment decisions. He is not overly anxious to prescribe surgery which I appreciate.
Reviews about providers should only be written after getting to know them for a couple months, especially after treatment. I only had an initial consultation with him and would like to establish a better understanding before writing a review. This makes me question the value of the glowing reviews found on the hospital website. That said, I think Dr Tashjian might be able to help me and look forward to talking with him more, because I left our first visit a bit confused.
I felt like he was in a hurry and didn't have time for my questions.
Professional and understanding
I like him, he's very professional and I trust him.
Top-notch, highly experienced, very caring and confident in his skills. The results bear him out.
He was very patience with me and explain things to me. He wanted to help me.
I think he's the best surgeon in the country I would recommend him to anyone that needs shoulder repair or replacement surgeries.
He is totally awesome !!
He wanted total information on tests from outside doctors to make the best decision for my care.
Excellent follow-up post surgery. Really understands my rehab needs and gives me confidence that my recovery potential will be exceptionally good.
Awesome Dr very good at explaining procedure.

extremely competent physician
Living out of state, I am pleased with Dr Tashjian's willingness to conduct video/telemed meetings to discuss my progress.
Wonderful doctor. Expert in shoulder surgery. Provides great follow up care. Surrounds himself with knowledge and courteous medical team.
Ver friendly and easy to talk to and prepared for my appointment and my health history.
He's a really great surgeon! I got the best outcome possible. I'm truly happy with his work!
At this time, I have only spoken with Dr Tashjian via zoom. He has been exceptional. I have canceled my surgery here and scheduled surgery with him.
Dr. Tashjian is an amazing doctor and surgeon. I saw other doctors who would not even consider replacing my elbow. Dr. Tashjian's comment was, 'Why wouldn't you want to replace it?' and he did an excellent job. I would recommend him to anyone, as he is an expert in elbows, shoulders, and other surgeries. His staff is also amazing.
Thanks Doc
Amazing surgeon.

Exceptional physician!
Top notch
Great dr. So professional and friendly
He is excellent!
When I first started seeing Dr. Tashjian for my shoulders several years ago, I felt like he spent much more time with me. This in-person visit seemed rushed. I was hoping to see the MRI with him to understand more of what he described was going on. It wouldn't change the outcome but I would feel more well informed. I was also disappointed that I have to wait three and a half months before I can have the corrective surgery. I wasn't given any advice or support about how to manage the pain and limited motion between now and then. (although I should have asked)
It was a very productive visit and Dr. Tashjian offered solutions to my concerns.
He was very efficient, while still taking time to explain the problems with my shoulder.
Excellent communicator and listener, explained options involved and risks and benefits of each, answered all my questions, willing to spend time to hear my concerns
Excellent skills, I feel like he's aware of what's going on with me even if I only see the resident or PT
A rare privilege in this day and age to have a Dr. Tashjian as my physician. He not only has superb knowledge, surgical skills and experience, but is also exceptionally caring and concerned.

Excellent, knowledgeable surgeon
Not on time Surgery was 3+ hours later than told which brought more anxiety. Appointments also tend to be a lot later than set
His knowledge is outstanding.

I felt more confidence in him than I can ever recall feeling about any other doctor.
Dr. Tashjian is a wonderful doctor/ surgeon!
Having been referred to Doctor Tashjian by another Orthopedics surgeon Doctor Tashjian made me confident that the treatment and diagnosis that I was getting by him and his staff was not to be questioned. Very helpful
I have had years of experience with my care provider, Dr. Tashjian and my outcomes have always exceeded my expectations. He is an incredibly skilled, knowledgeable and compassionate Orthopaedic Surgeon. He always takes as much time as necessary to explain my issue(s) to me, listen to, and answer my questions and concerns, discuss my options for treatment, including risks and benefits and work with me to develop the best treatment plan possible. I have recommended him many times. In my opinion, he is a model that others should seek to emulate.
I appreciate very much the time Dr. Tashjian spends in explaining things and answering questions. It is always so very helpful. He never rushes thru what he has to say and is always thorough in what he does say. He is an excellent doctor and surgeon. Thank you for the super care you have given me. [NAME REMOVED]
As an individual who has, unfortunately, undergone many intense and complicated orthopedic surgeries over the last 40 years of my life I can attest that Dr. Tashjian and his team set a very high bar for the standard of skill, expertise and care all surgeons, surgical teams and hospital staff should aspire to achieve.
Dr Tashjian was a great communicator of medical knowledge and was very concerned about my well being and i am proud to say he is my doctor.
Doctor seemed very rushed, possibly because my appointment had to be rescheduled for meetings so he was probably overbooked. He didn't even introduce himself, just walked in the room and started talking about my MRI. Did a quick assessment, maybe <5 min, and then told me the treatment would be there same thing I've already tried for the past 10 months without any significant changes in my symptoms.
He showed concern for my medical issues. He explained my medical problems better than any dr Ive been to. He listened to me.
We really like him!
For the first time in years I don't have constant pain in my shoulder. I saw 3 other Doctors before seeing Doctor Tasjian. He was the only one that had a solution that worked for me.
Dr. Tashjiian took the time to listen to me. He ordered tests for my shoulder and found out what is wrong with it, a torn tendon in the rotator cuff. Both Dr. Powell and Dr. Greise kept sending me to PT which didnt work. This has been going on since 2015. I am so grateful I went to him, hes awesome!!
Dr Tashjian took the time to explain my upcoming procedure and why I needed it.
This is the second shoulder Dr. T has done for me.
Excellent doctor, excellent team
Dr. Tashjan has replaced both of my shoulders, plus helped me with rotator cuff tendinitis from caring for my dying husband. He has vastly improved the quality of my life. I am able to live a normal life and rarely experience any amount of pain. I would recommend him to anyone needing care of their shoulders. I am so grateful that when I explored and found him years ago that he was there. He is a very caring, considerate and expert surgeon.
Provider was very sensitive to my needs to get the exam and procedure done in one visit.
Most efficient and organized medical team I have ever seen in my 78 years. Dr Tashjian is very professional, knowledgeable and listens.
I appreciate that Dr. Tashjian listens to me and then explains my options. He is very thorough and takes sufficient time to answer all of my questions. I feel Dr. Tashjian has solid shoulder replacement surgical skills and I feel fortunate to have had him leading my transition from severe pain and limited use of my right shoulder to complete recovery including being 100% pain free.
I feel very good choosing Dr Tashjian to operate on my shoulder in mid Dec.
His calm manner was comforting, and the plan for no surgery until other options were reviewed was valuable.
very knowledgeable, efficient and kind

Very upfront about the possibilities of having to reschedule due to covid. I really appreciate his frankness.
I feel like Dr Tashjian and Ian Crossett genuinely care about me and my chronic condition. they both are candid and consider every possibility related to my healthcare.
OUTSTANDING in all regards.
Was great from start to finish
I had been told multiple times by my Orthopaedic Physician in Idaho Falls that doing a revision might make matters worse. This was very discouraging to me. At my follow up from my ultrasound, he told the PA to give me the name of the doctor that he/they had just referred another patient to, that was in Salt Lake City. After meeting with Dr. Tashjian, I felt more hopeful that my shoulder problem could be fixed.
Great Doctor!
Dr. Tashjian was very thorough and spent about an hour explaining the pros and cons of surgery vs no surgery. His time and thoroughness was very helpful and very much appreciated.
The doctor speaks very fast. I didn't have time to write down the procedure he is going to perform.
he's great!
I have had great respect for Dr. Tashjian since he did shoulder surgery on my elderly mother. He recently operated on my shoulder and it is healing nicely. I believe he is the best orthopedic surgeon in the state and highly recommend him.
Best of the best!
Good
Fantastic medical team.
Truth? Dr. Tashijan KNOWS how valuable it is for me to be able to use my arms fully. Because of my deafness, I depend on American Sign Language to communicate and it is my job, too. Dr. Tashijan has never failed to immediately focus on the concerns I have. He responded very well and I love him.
Very good service
I would not go anywhere else
Dr. Tasjian is outstanding. Outstanding physician, scientist, and a true gentleman.
The provider was great, the waiting time 9triple scheduling) was unacceptable. At 4:30pm I was still waiting and doctor walked to another room to visit another patient without anybody telling me what's happening out there. In one point I thought they forgot about me, I opened the door and notified the staff. I don't know if that helped because after doctor visit they made ne wait for another 15 minutes before to come back and give me my notes or next appointment. I almost left without it. Very bad experience there
It is with some difficulty to come to SLC from Vernal. In the future I would like to have x-rays done in Vernal, and then have Dr. visit over TeleMed. However I do enjoy face to face visit with the staff. The travel is just a bit of a problem for us.
fine example of true surgeon
I am very happy with how well the doctor explained the course of treatment.
Dr. Tashjian is an excellent surgeon, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs a shoulder surgery.
Dr. Tashjiian is great! He always listens to me and answers all my questions. He is professional and also nice.
very patient and understanding very informative
Dr Tashijan was very easy to talk to, and explained my options for my shoulder pain well. Once we decided on replacement, he went through all the complications and the procedure itself. We discussed recovery time, and he spent time answering my questions. He came highly recommended by my other orthopedic surgeons, so I feel very safe in his care.
Most professional and knowledgeable.
He is excellent and explains my medical issues and treatment
Hands down the best surgeon I have meet in 5 yrs almost 6yrs and 11 surgery later

Dr.Tashjian very personable and kind. Seemed to care about my pain
Honest, straight forward and easy to talk too. Bit he and his resident were very credible and nice.
Except for initial intake nurse, who was vey curt and borderline unfriendly, everybody else behaved professionally. I felt kindly welcome by all of them !
Proficient, caring, thoroughly skilled.
Very knowledgeable and didnt mind questions
Treated me with respect and care. Giving me the best solution to my problem I could have hoped for.
Dr Tashjian was thorough in his review and explanations of alternatives. He came highly recommended to me by another excellent Physician and as I expected he answered all my questions as well explained my chosen option in great detail.
Extremely knowledgeable and skillful. He inspires our confidence.
Dr. Tashjian is amazing. I had talked with 3 other doctors about an elbow replacement and all recommended not doing it and would not do it. Dr Tashjian on the other hand was very confident which inspired confidence in me. I went through the surgery well and my recovery has been amazing not at all like the fear stories l had heard. l start therapy in 6 weeks and look forward to using my new elbow. I have never had more faith in or been more impressed with any doctor than Dr Tashjian he is truly gifted and wonderful to work with. I intend to recommend him to anyone who needs the surgery that he excels in.
Dr Tashjian is great, I use a wheelchair and he seems to appreciate that and understand the nuances that go along with that and a shoulder injury.
In a nutshell, he's top-notch.
He is a excellent doctor
Thorough & clear with evaluation. Explored situation & provided options for immediate treatment.
Dr Tashijan operated on this same elbow back in 2017. I was very grateful to be able to have his help the other day.
Dr Tashjian is one of the best Orthopedic Shoulder Surgeons in the world. He has had to operate on me several times because of my mistakes taking of my shoulder. It is amazing that I haven't had to have a replacement. Thank you Dr Tashjian!
He is a very understanding person who cares about you and your problems
DR Tashjian is going to do shoulder surgery for my wife and he is given us choice but we must take care few other things and best of best Doctor's of Uhealth.
The Dr. was incredibly helpful. His concerns regarding my shoulder were met with compassion and consideration for my expectations for treatment. He recommended a full round of physical therapy as opposed to immediately scheduling surgery. Inappropriate that.
I am very pleased with everything Dr Tashjian done for me. I am glad my treatment is done by another one of U of U Othopedic best doctors.
Very good service and care
Dr. Tashjian has an impeccable reputation and he lives up to it. He is conservative in treatment, but when he says surgery is necessary, it is. He listened to me. I trust him.
Can't say enough of the professionalism
He seemed rushed to too busy
Excellent
I felt the appointment was rushed and that Dr Tasjian was slammed with patients and I didn't get all of my questions answered as easily as I had hoped. I am sure that it is not his fault that because of his patient load. it unfortunately is the way of medicine today due to the pandemic.
As I stated before, I had given up hope that I would get help with my shoulder after 2 providers there, a doctor and a surgeon, just had me do PT. I Didnt feel listened to. Dr Tashjian took time to examine me and explain what might be happening with the shoulder. He was awey!!
He explains things very well for me to understand. He is very personable and easy to talk with.
Dr Tashjian met with me after I had a serious fall injuring my shoulder He listened to all my concerns about my injuries and told me he recommended a MRI. That after his examination he was sure of extensive damage and surgery would probably be needed. The MRI concluded the same, I needed surgery. He went over the surgical procedures and discussed the pros cons and down time.I felt confident in him and knew this was the surgeon I wanted to do my shoulder as it was extensive damage, no matter how long it took to get in. I was in extreme pain and seeking immediate as possible relief. It would also be a long recovery.I was concerned about the wait to get in.I would not be able to return to work as it was and would be off for an extended period. He helped me navigate my options. His team put me on waiting lists and worked hard to get me in. They had a cancelation and I was more than ready and so very grateful. Feeling blessed with all the wonderful and talented people that helped me!
The best!
Excellent provider, particularly for complex situations
One of the best physicians I've ever encountered. Exceptionally knowledgable, caring, responsive to my concerns. answers all questions.
He is great. So knowledgeable makes one feel very confident.
Dr. Tashjian is highly professional and knowledgeable. His interaction with the patient/myself is very personal and considerate. He will tell you his professional opinion without hesitation. I highly respect him and his staff. Steve Needles
He is an expert. It would be good to let the patient speak a bit more about their symptoms and needs.
exceptional and kind
Ins e a complicated case and it is challenging for me to understand the medical details . I get the big picture but the exact details are confusing .
I have been very pleased with my encounters with Dr. Tashjian and trust his judgement and expertise. Every encounter I have had with team members has been positive.
Doctor was very nice and I clearly understood the pros and cons of the surgery.
Superb physician, really exceptional.
Dr. Tashjian always listens to my issues, talks about possible treatment options and further care if he thinks necessary. The pain in my right elbow was the worst I've yet to experience but immediately after he did the aspiration it felt 95% better and the day after I had no pain and full extension.
Very talented surgeon with a great bed-side manner. Highly recommended.
Dr.Tashjian is a very competent and focused surgeon who delivers good results.
It was a good experience.
As long as Dr. Tashjian is practicing, nobody else cuts on my shoulders.
provided series of helpful exercises
NO. better people ,hospital, technicians, anywhere else

Dr. Tashjian explained my injury very clearly and any treatment options so I could make the best decision going forward.
I already referred my surgeon to a friend, this friend had same surgery as mine 2 weeks ago with Dr

Dr Tashjian was confident and knowledgeable. He explained things very succinctly. I did feel like I needed time to absorb all the information. But, he delivered it well.

Dr. Tashjian is very knowledgeable and professional. He surgically performed a reverse shoulder replacement for me, and relieved my chronic pain. I have completed confidence in his skill and care.

Dr Tashjian is clearly very knowledgeable and top notch in his field and I am very pleased with the outcome of my surgery.
Dr. Tashjian is a miracle worker and the finest surgeon I've ever encountered. His work on my total reverse shoulder was amazing, and the outcome better than I could have imagined. He is a gifted surgeon and we're fortunate to have him.
The doctor is one in 1 million. He is very very good very thorough and I just couldn't be any happier with the outcome.
Dr Tashjian is the very best surgeon.
If you need shoulder work, Dr. Tashjian is who need.
Dr Tashjian is a very caring and thorough doctor. He takes pride in his work. And wants what's best for his patients.
I've had shoulder issues for years including 2 shoulder replacements. The doctor who performed my surgeries retired. I went to a well known clinic in Park City and did not receive the information or options that Dr Tashjian offered. I appreciate he didn't want to jump into surgery like the other doctor I saw. I'll be back if I need to.
Dr Tashjian is a remarkable surgeon. I've had the opportunity to speak to and know several shoulder surgeons, he is definately a blessing to anyone with shoulder problems. He is kind, knowledgeable and attentive. Dr. Tashjian has gone the extra mile to fix my shoulder so that I can maintain a fairly normal life style. It is great to know that there are doctors who still care and take patients health seriously.
Dr. Tashjian is one of the best surgeons that I have had. He is skilled , professional and very interactive in his opinion. He is direct to the point in telling you what is needed in your care. In my case not wasting time on a particular procedure and recommending another. I am grateful that he was my attending physician.
He is the niciest doctor who cares about his patients.
Experienced and competent surgeon.
I have experience with many shoulder surgeons. That being said he is far beyond most in skill, understanding what's going on and how to fix it. You will be hard pressed to find anyone better to fix you. He is compassionate and kind. It was a blessing to find a doctor as amazing as Dr. Tashjian.
Dr. Tashjian is a RockStar..most definitely the top in his field!!
Dr Tashjian is an excellent surgeon. I have been very pleased with the care my husband received under his care.
Again well versed on the issue. Had a plan to deal with it. No problem
My experience with Dr. Tashjian has been very positive. If I had any criticism, it's the time spent waiting to be called to the back to be seen, then waiting for him to finally come into the exam room. It's been as long as an hour after my scheduled appointment time.
He was very kind and thorough and he gave me options and recommendations. He even consulted on the recent surgical result of my other shoulder.
Dr Tashjian In my experience is the best Orthopedic surgeon in North America and definitely one I would recommend for anyone who has a serious injury or medical condition for rotator cuff surgery. Definitely #1 Orthopedic surgeon in my experience. Thanks for getting me back to healthy wellness so quickly! With utmost gratitude and respect for your profession Thanks again Doc
A very good doctor and surgeon, has very good staff and left me with a clean scar.
One of the best doctors I've ever had in my life.
Dr. Tashjian is the best at shoulders and im sure other parts... my new shoulder other than me falling on it is perfect! I love his bedside manner and him telling me to NOT ruin his surgery, lol. Great Dr. Have referred him to 3 or 4 people and they love him also.
Only (mild) negative is that he is frequently behind schedule so waiting > 15 minutes is the rule, not the exception. But worth it? Absolutely!!
He is the best! Totally professional! I was so pleased to hear he also works on elbows as I have been having a lot of pain. This was totally unrelated to the shoulder check the appointment was about. He took an X-Ray and immediately set up a cortisone shot. I loved the quick response!
Shoulders and shoulder pain should, ideally, be treated by this extraordinary doctor. He is excellent in all respects - qualifications, detail of treatment, thoughtfulness, follow through, respect, and FIXES the problem with minimal invasion and pain.
Excellent
Dr Robert Z Tashjian, MD was very professional and the results of my surgery were excellent. I certainly recommend Dr. Tashjian and the U of U Orthopedic hospital.
Dr. Tashjian has been very helpful in my decision of which shoulder to have replaced/revision on first. Both need surgery. He is professional, knowledgeable and kind.
Dr Tashjian is a great Dr., but is super busy and not always able to answer all my questions because of being rushed.
I am very impressed with Dr. Tashijian. I think he has done an excellant job with my elbow and I have complete confidence in him.
Dr Tashjian turned everything over to my primary care physician. He didnÕt give me instructions about what would happen
Extremely competent and incredibly talented!
Truly the best care. He was attentive and always answered every question I had. Always put my mind at ease and very focused.
I would definitely be comfortable having him as a doctor/surgeon.
New right shoulder is great. Thanks for evaluating the left too.
I'm very pleased with the outcome of my reverse shoulder surgery. Dr Tashian is not only a great surgeon but also makes sure all questions are thoroughly answered.

Dr Tashjian is an awesome Dr / Surgeon. He cares about his patients health and well being before and after any medical procedures and or surgeries.
Dr. Tashjian consistently takes time to answer my questions, expresses his opinion of my recovery and clarifies what things I can do without causing problems with my shoulder.
I came to the university specifically for him as my doctor. He's excellent and very caring and professional
Simply The Best. A true shoulder guru leads an expert, experienced team that is uniformly caring and delivered expert care at all levels.
Dr Tashjian is a great and skilled surgeon, but the office visits are so short, I don't feel like I get answers to the many questions I have. His office is always running behind, which usually means a short and rushed visit.
He is the best orthopedic surgeon around
Very professional and knowledgeable. I felt confident with his care.
Dr. Tashjian is the absolute best at his craft. He is kind, caring and involved in his patients care . I have no problem recommending him to anyone with shoulder problems.
He's the best at what he does. I appreciate his professionalism.
He is very professional and is the best in his field
very good surgeon
I highly recommend Dr Tashjian, this was my 2nd shoulder replacement and he and his staff are a great group of talented caring professionals.
My shoulder is complicated and Dr. Tashjian is one of few providers that even understand it..Knowledge and skill.
I can't recommend Dr. Tashjian highly enough. I did extensive research on shoulder surgeons around the US before choosing Dr. Tashjian, and he is one of the very best. He spent considerable time explaining to me the operation, was deeply knowledgeable, courteous and professional. If you need a new shoulder, he's the man.
Simply put, I had a very good experience with Dr. Tashjian for my shoulder replacement. He was easy to talk to, seemed very knowledgeable, and I had zero pain after the procedure!!

Dr. Tashjian listens carefully and is very through in his exam and assessment to get to etiology and treatment plan.
Very nice and helpful.
I have never been so impressed with a doctor as l am with Dr. Tashjian he is the best. He always has time to listen, and answer questions, and never makes you feel rushed.
Hes an incredible person incredible doctor. He cares about you. He listens to you and he thrives to be perfect and do the right job. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I love the whole team. Dr. Tajshen is a blessing.
All care was excellent. The problem was that I waited for 60 minutes in an exam room before being seen. There was never an apology or explanation.
good
Couldn't be more satisfied following my procedure.
I saw Dr Tashijan after a shoulder injury from a skiing accident. The time he took with the history and physical exam along with the explanation of how the course of treatment and follow up was an extraordinary experience. All my questions and concerns were addressed and elaborated upon. I am so grateful for the care and thoroughness he took to answer all my questions and expand upon how he and his team would reevaluate my injury while under his care. I left with great confidence in Dr Tashijan and the University of Utah care team.
Dr.Tashjian is very competent and professional about what he does. I trust him.
Dr. Tashjian was wonderful.
Recommend him to everyone!
I've already done physical therapy but he is sending me for another 6 weeks.
Dr. Tashjian comes across and quite arrogant and made me feel as if I were wasting his precious time. I only scheduled the appt to see him at the request of my regular doctor and my appointment was delayed due to Covid. My husband was with me and as soon as we walked out my husband turned to me and said, "I don't like that guy, let's get a second opinion on your shoulder from outside the UofU."
doctor seems quite abrupt and did not inform me of my conditin and other options. he did not recommend any specific options.
This is where Dr. T shines. He listens patiently and answers all questions.
Very knowledgeable and explains things in detail. On this visit he seemed in a hurry but answered all my questions
Doctor Tashjian is an exceptional doctor and a leader in the field of shoulder replacement. He operated on both my shoulders and obtain great results.
I thought my only option was surgery when an appointment was scheduled with Dr Tashijian. I was presented with many non-invasive options to try first much to my relief.
The patients best interests and care come first and foremost with Doctor Tashjian.
Dr. Robert Tashjian always has treated me with respect and listens to my needs and concerns!
Extremely knowledgeable and shared lots. Did tend to speak in doctor talk a lot which could be confusing. Luckily Ive had this issue for decades so Im familiar with the terminology. Would be nice to dumb it down a bit. But super helpful. Pulled up studies for me, gave me real honest feedback, didnt beat around the bush.
Dr. Tashjian has been the best surgeon and I don' change him. Is so wonderful to be with someone who knows what he is doing. I feel that I'm in good hands. Thank you Dr Tashjian!
Dr Tashjian is a caring, personable, and knowledable doctor.
Dr. Tashjian is the best!
appreciate the time Dr Tasjian spent with us and discussion of research
good
Dr. Tashijan is very competent.
Dr. Tashjian is good. That's why I came back!
Because of the conditions that day, high winds and no electricity and that I had just come from Elko, NV , 3 1/2 hours away, the staff and imaging staff and Dr Tashjian went way out of their way to help me!!
Just an outstanding skilled caregiver. Very professional
Ive been seeing him for a couple of years now and hes very direct about what needs to be done and why. He gives you the time needed even if hes a busy doctor, and he listens
I appreciate the care, kindness and professionalism that Dr. Tashjian extended to me.
Im very grateful for his knowledge and talents Kyle and Dylan are both great assets
Made decision about repairing a ligament without explaining or asking what I wanted or felt I needed.
Very knowledgeable on the subject. Very patient and detailed in explaining the treatment options.
Dr Tashjian is an outstanding shoulder surgeon. I appreciate the way his team works together to provide care for his patients. They know me and respond when I have questions.
He is awesome and I would highly recommend Dr. Tashjian to anyone needing shoulder surgery.
Besides good office care, I called back with a question. They took that question and talked to one of the professionals and called back within hours. This kept me from taking a medication that would have interfered with upcoming surgery.
Very professional, thorough in explaining situation and answering questions. Willing to offer less invasive alternatives to try to solve problem first.
Dr. Tashjian is very experienced, detailed, yet very patient to listen to the patients' concerns or questions, and answered them in details.
Great Dr.! He took time with me and explained the situation. He recommended the care I needed. My follow up with him was good. He was kind and told me to call in the future if I have any further issues
Dr. Tashjian is a true professional mixed with artistry when it comes to his craft as a surgeon. His skill repaired my near unusable shoulder and I can live life normally again.
He is intelligent, caring, and gives you all the options in a way you can understand and make good decisions. Hes very intelligent and knowledgeable and shares his knowledge with you in a way you can understand and digest it.
Dr Tashjian is an excellent Surgeon who I trust completely. The results from my surgery are amazing and he always takes the time to explain and answer any questions I might have. I cant speak highly enough about him.
He is professional and kind. Happy to help me understand the reality of my situation and was not rushing me to make a decision. Answered all of my questions even when they were repetitive.

One of the kindest humble dr.He is a top rated surgeon and human!
Carefully explained where and why the pain existed in my shoulder and the options to improve and or eliminate the issue. Very helpful and super nice!!
He is an Awesome doctor!
Very knowledgeable and got directly to my health status as to pertains to my shoulder issue which was very much appreciated.
He took his time with me, explaining everything that shows on the MRI, and explaining options that are available. Actually, he made not only my day, but my year. Great person.
Highly recommended
He listens carefully and seems to really care and gave us hope
Dr. Tashjian is a clear communicator and willing to provide available options with likelihood of success and then leave decision to patient.
I'd highly recommend Dr. Robert Tashjian for a shoulder replacement.
Top notch
I like the way that my care was given.
I wouldn't go to anyone else for this type of surgery. he has also done my other shoulder in the past
everyone is great !
he seemed rushed; didn't offer any explanation or apology for my nearly hour wait in the exam room. would love to know why not one other staff member could come give a hint as to why the doc was taking so long & maybe offer me water.
we learned more in 1st visit there than we had in 4 months with others
was concerned about my wellbeing
good
The staff, Gabe, and Dr. Tashjian were all excellent. The MRI scheduling gentleman was excellent too, and very accommodating. Dr. Tashjian spent a lot of time explaining and discussing my results, potential surgery, and prognosis. I had previously scheduled surgery with another surgeon here but changed when I understood how thorough and thoughtful Dr. Tashjian is. My appointment went better than even expected. I am very impressed and look forward to him replacing my shoulder.
Dr. Tashjian was exceptional in his ability to explain and his patience in letting me ask all my questions.
I have no complaints I don't have any problems with any of the things that I expected I will be bock in 2years
was well explained but I haven't heard back from anyone they were going to call me and schedule an appointment
Dr.Robert Tashjian is exceptional. I saw him 10 years ago for a small problem with my opposite shoulder, which is doing great. He has also replaced both of my husbands shoulders, and one of my mother-in-laws, and the surgeries all were successful with no complaints 10-15 years later. He LISTENS, which is more than I can say about a lot of high level surgeons, and GENUINELY CARES.
Dr. Tashjian is the best surgeon for shoulders as I did my research before coming in and selecting him. I was not disappointed in the entire process with him and his staff. All members from anesthesiologist to nurses, to schedulers, to hospital care were Top Shelf.
I was treated with concern and respect.
Super kind. Excellent surgeon
10 stars
So understanding and gave me options to avoid surgery and yet cope with the ongoing pain. Leaves the choices up to me and what would work best for my circumstances.
He was very professional and explained things clearly
He's been professional and personable
Very professional and caring. Answered all my questions and concerns.
Dr. Tashjian is very up front with any questions I had and explained about my latest x-rays looked Good. And that he wanted me to keep going to Physical Therapy to get my Flexion and Range of Motion better. :)
Dr. Tashijian is a very skilled Orthopedic surgeon
Dr. Tashjian's (and his resident's) very thorough explanations and wilingness to answer questions was much appreciated
As always, I was examined by a professional familiar with my condition and recent surgery, who explained in detail everything I needed to know.
Very pleasing, reassuring and not stressful. That is a happy place to be in a Dr.'s care.
Dr. Tashjian is the best. Polite, but also concise and happy to answer all questions.
good experience. he was behind so the appointment was hurried. I was a last minute appointment so I was no upset or worried.
As I have had the procedure on my other shoulder, I already knew what it entails. But it was the same doctor for both my left and right shoulder assessments, and he is terrific.
Good
I got a clear and detailed explanation of the options to address my chronic rotator cuff tear and which would be best for my age, activity level, and desired outcomes.
good
Dr Tashjian has been very careful to get the right diagnosis. I was referred to him because he is one of the best in elbow surgery!
As a former Administrator of a Rehab Hospital and several Assisted Livings over my career I found this Surgeon unprofessional, rude with no empathy. His opinion was based totally on X-Rays he touched the area of concern one time. I don't doubt he is a good surgeon but socially he needs to learn what a good bedside manner means. Getting well includes kindness, empathy and tact.
extraordinary Surgeon
He is very great at explaining how procedures will gp I'm not scared everytime I have had a surgery I'm much improved.
I am confidant about dr Tashjian's decisions
I overheard the doctor talking to the resident? In the hallway before he came in. He told the resident that 51 year old women don't have instability in their shoulders (which I do have and have had 3 previous surgeries to attempt to fix that problem). I wasn't happy that he had already made his opinion before even seeing or examining me or talking with me. I felt he was arrogant and condescending but unfortunately my doctor referred me to him because he is the best and I need this fixed.
Did not recommend any other
The trainer was excellent!
Dr. Tashjian is one of the finest doctors I have ever met. I am thankful for him and the excellent work he does everyday when I can get up pain free and do all the things I didn't think I would be able to again.
This was a very brief encounter to mainly discuss my recent MRI.
Every time I leave the U of U medical facilities I am grateful for their care and professional knowledge and understanding of my issues
Dr. Tashjian is always asking how my shoulder is feeling and explaining what I need to do to get some pain relief. Thank You Dr. Tashjian for all you have done and will be doing for me. [NAME REMOVED] :)
I am very pleased with the care I received from Robert Z Tashjian, MD.
Thank you I am truly grateful to be back to living
Dr Tashijian is one of the best orthopedic Doctors I know.
Dr. Tashjian is the very best surgeon IÕve ever had.
He's very knowledgeable and personable and very helpful.
I have been very impressed with Dr. Tashjian. He has been great to work with and has explained my options in a way I can easily understand.
Fine
Detailed discussion about surgical vs. Nonsurgical options
Good
Again I am so thankful that the U of U is within driving distance from home.
Excellent!
Excellent job
He didn't explain how degraded my labrum was or about the mild spurring on my Glenohumeral joint. I would guess it wasn't really bad but it would have been nice to know.
The doctor was clear and thorough.
Very happy with Dr. Tashjian.
Dr Tashjian Broke down a couple of different options and was very informative
Asked for all records, I brought all of my X-rays,he looked at non of them, I was just another pay check to him, he didn't listen, he had no knowledge of any of my past surgeries or current concerns
Very caring and wants to make sure that his patients are well taken care of
In both my wife's & my 5 Decades'+ personal experience w/ LOT'S of "Doc's" in many places, None -- repeat, NONE -- better!
Dr Tashjian continues to work with me to solve my challenges.
He really take care about my shoulder.
Very good Dr
He and his team have given me the confidence to continue with my treatments for my left and right shoulders. Thank you very much. [TRANSLATED]
Tashjian is a great orto doctor
Excellent person. Very kind, attentive, and friendly. A professional dedicated to his work. 100% recommended. [TRANSLATED]
Doctor Tashjian is absolutely the BEST!!
Dr. Tashjian literally saved my right arm - he is a truly gifted practitioner of the art of healing. He is also one of those rare surgical physicians who possesses an outstanding breadth of knowledge and skills, and yet also demonstrates a compassionate and sincere approach with all of his patients. I am grateful that a surgeon of Dr. Tashjian's caliber is on the staff of the University of Utah Hospital.
Dr. Tashjian performed a complete shoulder replacement for me last year after I fell off a ladder onto a stone wall. Now I need to have the other operated on with the same procedure. This doctor is the most thorough I have ever had. He is both very experienced and current in his specific practice. He does not waste your time, he just performs the exam, asks some questions and, then explains things very clearly so you are aware of what he is telling you and how to proceed.
Very thoughtful and thorough!!
Great experience with Dr. Tashlian.
So grateful to have found a Dr that took me seriously with the pain in my clavicle and R shoulder. He has been very thorough and helpful in treating my pain. Thank you very much.
He's one of the best shoulder surgeons there is!
He is an excellent doctor, cares about his patients. He took the time too work my husband in to give my husband a second opinion on his shoulder. Treated him and referred my husband for PT. We very much appreciated because we live in Twin Falls, Id. We are very grateful for Dr. Tashjian services
Highest marks for Dr Tashjian and his team!
He is very good at explaining everything and took his time in to answer my questions.
Skill, integrity, compassion, these are some of the words that describe Dr. Tashjian. I believe I was/am in the best hands possible to help me. His team also displays these same attributes. I will recommend Dr. Tashjian to anyone requiring expert care.
He is careful, informed and wants to have the best care for you.
I would recommend Dr tashijian to anyone I would give him a 10 plus
Absolutely amazing!!!! I would highly recommend Dr. Tashjian. He is very thorough and knowledgeable and friendly.
I would recommend Dr. Tashjian and his staff highly. I can't imagine a better shoulder replacement process. Nothing was left to chance, and I was thoroughly supported before, during and after the procedure.
So confident that Dr Tahjian will take care of my shoulder problem. More that just a specialist, He's a super specialist.
I highly recommend Dr Tashjian, he listens, values your opinion and is very thorough. The outcome of my surgery was just as he said it would be.
I appreciate that Dr. Tashjian and his team listened to me and gave my questions, thoughts, and requests for modification serious consideration.
Too long of wait to n patient room.
Followup visit was virtual. Was not able to video chat. I made 2 phone calls prior to appointment to verify I was doing things correctly. Disappointed with not being able to do the video. Dr was not able to see me or my incision. I was told someone would contact me to rectify the video. That was a week ago, no contact yet.
Dr Tashjian is an outstanding surgeon. I have total faith in his surgical abilities.
This was the first time I met Dr. Trajan. He seemed incredibly confident and concerned, and answered all my questions. Needless to say, I'd prefer to have met him on a fly stream or on a ski slope. I don't suppose anyone is excited about shoulder replacement surgery.
He was great to talk to. He listened and we made a very good decision based on facts.
He is the absolute best orthopedic surgeon I have ever met.
Listened to me and worked through my concerns
Dr. Tashjian had read my files and was very informed about my medical history. He asked what my goals were and has helped me try to achieve them.
Dr Tashjian was well prepared for visit had reviewed the X-ray and MRI was ready to discuss condition and options for care and corrective action
Thank you
Very skilled physician. Pleasant and punctual (98% of he time). He communicates well with the patient.
I really like Dr. Tashjian but during this visit he seemed preoccupied and I felt like he rushed to leave. I got all my questions answered by Kyle so everything was ok.
Wonderful Surgeon, worth waiting for available appointment.
Dr.Tashjian is thorough, professional, and educational. He genuinely gives a patient the ability to participate in the decision making of their health care. I'm confident the guidance and care received will place me where I expect to be with my health.
Dr. Tashjian is thorough, compassionate, patient, and an expert in his field. This is the second time I have gone to him for treatment. (two different problems) I am paying out of network prices because I like him so much. For one of my surgeries, he went above and beyond any doctor Ive seen to help me.
Dr. Tashjian is always very Helpful and Professional any time I see him in person or via Virtual Visits. :)
I am very satisfied with the care I received from Dr. Tashjian. He is an excellent surgeon and his care team is also excellent. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my shoulder surgery.
Very caring and informative.
Dr Tashjian took a minute to draw a sketch of the proposed surgery and take us step by step through what was going to happen and explain why. It was a simple thing, perhaps, but it let us know that he is interested in me as a person and not just as a cadaver lying on a table.
I have had three (3) major surgeries with Dr. Tashjian. They have been successful. I trust him.
This is my second shoulder replacement. I will not go anywhere else.
