  • Sabrina M. Bedell, MD, is a gynecologic oncologist at the University of Utah. She is passionate about providing equitable and inclusive care to people of the global majority, LGBTQ+ individuals and low-income and rural populations.

    Dr. Bedell is an avid skier, snowboarder, and bouldering rock climber who is excited to be back in the West (originally from Northern California) after completing training on the East Coast and in the Midwest. She has a loving husband and son to enjoy outdoor adventures and share daily life with, and is looking forward to building community here in Utah.

    Dr. Bedell received her medical degree from the University of Vermont School of Medicine in Burlington, Vermont. She then completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota and fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

    Dr Bedell is very professional and has great bedside manners. She is quite knowledgeable and attentive to my specific medical needs. She shares information clearly and makes sure we are both on the same page when discussing my health and health needs. Her team is also great to work with.

    I was very concerned about possibly missing my family reunion in the mountains and Dr. Bedell said that with my treatment needs we could definitely work my treatment schedule around my reunion.
