The patient rating score is an average of all responses on our patient experience survey. The rating averages scores for all questions about care from our providers. The scale on which responses are measured is 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score.
Patient comments are gathered from our patient experience survey and displayed in their entirety. For the convenience of our visitors, some patient comments have been translated from their original language into English while preserving their original meaning as accurately as possible. Patients are de-identified for confidentiality and patient privacy.

She is a great doctor for everyone!
She has been one of the doctors on my daughter's team since the beginning. She shows compassion and empathy every time. She is an amazing doctor to have on your team.
Best doctor I've ever had. :)
She answered all of our questions, took time to make sure we understood everything going on with our daughter's brain. Never felt rushed and was made to feel comfortable.
Dr. Smartwood is through and competent, a great listener and an asset to Primary Children's.
She makes [NAME REMOVED] feel so at ease and she listens to our concerns. She will make changes that are necessary but she will also take our concerns into consideration.
Dr. Swartwood always listens to our concerns and never makes us feel like we're burdening her like some specialist can. She seems to genuinely care about our child and her needs. Dr. Swartwood makes sure we feel heard and always does her best to find us good answers when she can and she isn't afraid to admit if there is an unknown.
