He also received a Masters in Health Administration from the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO. He completed his residency at the Creighton University Medical Center, Omaha, NE and then completed his fellowship in Nephrology at Tufts Medical Center Center, Tufts Univeristy, Boston, MA. Dr. Kakani's clinical interests are glomerulonephritis, chronic kidney disease management and inpatient nephrology. His passion is in clinical education and mentoring.

    I am so glad I have Dr. Kakani as my kidney doctor. He takes the time before each visit to catch up on anything that has happened since the last visit, and he has carefully reviewed my blood tests and other tests so he can tell me clearly what his plan is for moving forward. Great doctor!

    He was nice enough and answered my questions. I was a bit frustrated with the hour wait before he came in for a whole 5 minutes before he sent me on my way.
