He served as Assistant then Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Texas A&M University HSC and Scott & White Clinic and Hospital in Temple, TX from 1995 to 2016. Served as a primary care physician in the clinic for 15 years then transitioned to full time hospitalist in 2010 to present day. He has extensive educational experience and training of medical resident and medical students, serving as Core Faculty in residency program and as Clerkship Director in Internal Medicine at Texas A&M University HSC and Scott & White Clinic and Hospital. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, a fellow in the American College of Physicians, and inducted member in Alpha Omega Alpha.
