Dr. Aoki and his staff listen to my concerns and address each of them as we set goals on what both of us can to do to get me back to full health. They are quite responsive to emails and are compassionate to my worries and needs. I have and will continue to recommend them.

Dr. Aoki is amazing! I am so grateful for him! I have been suffering with hip pain for way to long!! Dr. Aoki was able to find a quick resolution but the best option- which was surgery but it was such a breeze with Dr. Aoki by my side. Dr. Aoki is so compassionate, encouraging and supportive! Couldn't of asked for a better provider. Thank you!!!
Dr. Aoki is excellent! Showed genuine concern with my pain and made a plausible plan to improve my mobility and return to my desired activity level. He was thorough in his explanation of what to expect in surgery, discussion of what happened during surgery, and post operative expectations.
Dr. Aoki took the time to answer all my questions. He is always positive and informative.
Great! Not only did he do a great job, but I felt heard along the way. Everything was explained well, and he answered my plethora of questions
Dr. Aoki is very compassionate and patient. He really listens and care about improving my functioning and overall health.
Cares truly about all his patients!!
Dr. Aoki is the best listener I have ever met! He should teach seminars to other medical providers on the subject of how to pay close attention to your patients when they are with them.
Dr. Aoki is very good at what he does. We trusted in his abilities based on the recommendation of our sports medicine doctor. He definitely lived up to expectations. He is caring and does well at explaining the surgery process.
great. if i need my other hip done, i'd go back to him.
Very satisfied with my treatment. Thank you Dr.
He was incredible. So patient focused. Very clear explanations.
Dr. Aoki and his staff do a fantastic job of putting my daughter at ease, and providing solutions for her patellar instability.
Dr. Aoki always has the best bedside manner. I appreciate his attention to detail and thorough scope of care!
He drew a picture on his scrubs about what was going to happen in the surgery. It made it very easy for us to understand exactly what was going to happen
Dr. Aoki thoroughly explained their discoveries and plotted a decent get-well course!
Dr. Aoki is one of the kindest most attentive doctors I've ever been to. I never felt like he was rushing through our visit. He was gentle and informative.
We were very comfortable with him. He really knows how to relate to kids and explained everything thoroughly on a level we could understand.
thorough, clear communication, looked me in the eyes when he was explaining my problem and proposed surgical solution
Dr Aoki is the best! He is so kind and so knowledgeable! Cares for the patient as an individual. Takes the time to listen!
We have loved working with Dr. Aoki. He is friendly, warm, and very good at what he does. He has been able to speak to our teenage daughter about her knee, in a way that is comforting and informative. He is great at what he does! He also has a great team of professionals surrounding him who add to the experience and feeling of top care, good personalities, and compassion.
I had seen Dr. Aoki while I was an athlete in college, his care was phenomenal. I have since moved out of state and am in need of a similar surgery on my other leg. After seeing other doctors I realized it was important to me to come back and see Dr. Aoki. He surpassed all of my expectations. I have nothing but great things to say.
Dr. Aoki did surgery on my hip in 2016. I haven't had a problem since. I went to an orthopedic doctor closer to my home for my knee. After having a bad experience in not getting the care I needed. I came back to Dr. Aoki he truly cares about you getting better. All of his staff is wonderful! I would highly recommend Dr. Aoki to anyone that has knee or hip problems. As he gives quality care!
I'm VERY happy with Dr Aoki. He listens, explains when asked, kind and professional
Each person I came in contact with was highly knowledgeable and showed concern. I was greeted with knowledge and solutions.
I left very confident in the care givers and understanding exactly what the health issues were and the options of treatments.
Dr. Aoki and his staff provided an outstanding experience for me.
I was not told of risks of my surgery. B maybe there are none
dr aoki and his pa (forgot name) were excellent. as a new patient coming from a doctor with whom I had a long history and good rapport, I feel relieved to have found a doctor who listens and cares. I am no longer upset at having to leave my former doc.
Dr Aoki is amazing! He listened to my concerns and actually found other issues that a radiologist had missed that made a huge difference on how we are proceeding
Dr. Aoki is a caring and professional doctor with your healing and feeling better in mind as he reviews your case. He explains and shows pictures from Xrays and MRI's you may have had so you will understand the problem. He includes your input and how you want to proceed with the choices of how to fix or resolve the issue. Dr. Aoki is a great doctor and treats his patients like they are family.
Dr. Aoki is a gem. He performed my hip labral repair 8 years prior and helped me understand the current state of my hip joint. I felt assured and relieved to get a diagnosis and felt confident I was given excellent advice for the next steps.
Simply amazing care. From our initial meeting through surgery and followup, Dr. Aoki practices the highest level of competence, compassion and individual attention. His team supports him with exceptional responsiveness. Cannot recommend them or thank them highly enough in guiding me through a difficult procedure.
Best experience we have ever had with a Dr.
He is just the best!
I called with a concern today/ everyone was so helpful and went completely out of their way to call me back and provide a solution needed even outside of normal business hours. Reed and Dr. Aoki thank you for such excellent care and concern and for giving my child the very best care! I can't thank you enough!
Every person we encountered was extremely nice and friendly.
Positively wonderful surgeon. Top of his field and genuinely wants his patients to have the best outcomes possible. Highly recommend.
During my most recent visit, Dr. Aoki went the extra mile to show me how to do the physical therapy exercises at home. Also, the surgery I got from him a few months ago was state of the art. I am already healing quickly because it was done so well. Dr. Aoki is always cheerful and friendly and listens to my needs. I will recommend this practice to everyone.
Dr. Aoki was engaging, asked great questions, and makes a patient feel confident in his abilities.
Dr. Aoki is a great doctor! I and so thankful we were refereed to him. He is very kind and very patient and very skilled!

Dr Aoki is absolutely amazing. He is kind, listens and explains things well.
He's the one of the top three most attentive, caring, courteous and kind medical professionals we've ever seen. We never feel like he's in a rush to get on to the next patient.
Dr. Aoki took his time, explained every detail about my situation and solution. He is very caring and kind.
Such a great doctor. Dr Aoki is obviously very knowledgeable, and yet so relatable. He has such a relaxed and calm manner about him. We feel at ease in his care. He is thorough in his exam, questioning, and gathering imaging and other resources. I feel confident he gets the whole picture and trust him to guide us to make the best decision for our individual needs. He explains things in depth and in a way we can easy understand.
Dr. Aoki was very helpful in advice for my continuing therapy at home. He was also helpful in giving me information for finding a new Family Medicine Doctor. The team is always professional and compassionate with the patients.
Amazing
He is a fabulous doctor that listens to you and makes you feel likes he cares to make you better than when you came in.
I was very impressed with Dr Aoki and all the medical staff that I dealt with.
He is very good at what he does, efficient, takes the time to listen to any concerns and answer any questions asked. Treats us with respect.
I had never met Dr. Aoki but I was very impressed with his explanations, his suggestions, and his concern for me in this time of COVID 19 as I am over 70.
I can't give Dr. Aoki enough praise. My visit with him was incredible - he explained everything so thoroughly, gave me plenty of time to ask questions and process his answers. I never felt rushed, and his demeanor made me feel 100% confident in his abilities. Unlike any other doctor I've seen for my hip problem, Dr. Aoki took extra time to go through my MRI and x-rays to show me exactly what has been causing my pain. He is very empathetic, understanding, and patient. I can't recommend him enough!
Outstanding ! Successful surgery that other surgeons weren't comfortable tackling. Took the time needed to answer questions and explain so I could understand. Felt like he really cared. Love his team he has put together.
Dr Aoki is someone who truly cares about his patients. He listened and understood what my knee issue was and got me back to work faster than I had expected. Amazing doctor.
I appreciate Dr Aoki's straight forward and caring mannerism.
Doctor Aoki is very personable, has a good bedside manner, and took the time to answer my questions during the appointment itself. His lack of follow up when not face to face is my complaint. It took days to get refills. Even when he approved them, he failed to sign the order, causing further delay.
Although we had to wait quite a while, we were very pleased by the care and attention we received.
Dr Aoki's bedside manner was awesome!!! He took his time was thorough. I feel comfortable with the plan he came up with. He's very knowledgeable.
I was truly amazed at how friendly and kind doctor Aoki was I felt immediate comfort. Even though I had extreme anxiety about my surgery I now feel calm and good about it
I love Dr Aoki! He is empathetic, straight up, and good at explaining things.
Dr. Aoki really takes the time to listen to problems and concerns and he is so great to work with.
Dr Aoki was very kind and took the time to speak on the phone with both my over concerned parents
Dr. Aoki was as advertised, I never had any doubts and felt like I couldn't be in any better hands.
First time seeing Aoki and now I understand his busy schedule! Very conservative with diagnosing and care treatment! Told to return after my ankle is fixed surgically. Definitely will go back to him when healthy
Very kind. Very good bedside manner. Professional
it has kinda just been lets wait and see sort of answers. he is a good dr though
Dr Aoki would receive my highest recommendation possible. He is a highly skilled medical professional, but also a person that genuinely cares about the patient and parent.
Dr. Aoki is a great physician and I would not take my orthopedic needs anywhere else. He is very, kind, caring, and great at his profession. He has helped take care a couple of my family members and has done a wonderful job. We are very happy with his knowledge and professionalism.
We would highly recommend Dr.Aoki and his team. He did a revision of our daughter's hip capsule after it did not heal from a previous surgery done by a different surgeon. We were referred to him by the first surgeon as he is highly regarded by his peers and is recognized as an expert in problematic cases.
Aokie is one of the best, caring and experienced surgeon you can find.
We loved him! So kind, intelligent, and professional!
The best surgeon I have ever met. His bedside manner is second to none. I literally trust him with my life.

Dr. Aoki is seriously one of the best Dr.'s I have ever met. I can tell he truly cares about his patients, he always welcomes you with a smile, and listens to any concerns I have. I drive 4 hours to the U of U to see Dr. Aoki because I know he is giving me the best care possible! Thank you!
Exceptionally honest and forthright. He explained my situation clearly and presented the different clinical and surgical options. Friendly with exceptional manner.
Gentle, very kind. Explained things clearly and in a way my 14 year old could understand and relate to.
Dr.Aoki - was amazing when it came to repairing my sons ACL , his bedside manners are out of this world, and the care we continue to receive during follow-ups is just as amazing.
Dr Aoki is fabulous! He listened well and helped us come up with a good plan of care.
Dr. Aoki is very professional and courteous. He seems very sincere in his desire to find the root of the problem and offer available solutions. He always answers all of my questions in a kind and informative way. I would absolutely recommend him to others.
Both Dr. Aoki and the resident we saw, Dr. Anderson I believe were awesome.
Hands down best Orthopedic Dr!! Aoki all the way!!
My daughter loved how Dr Aoki spoke to her and explained the procedure to her and sat next to her, not across the room. Very friendly!
Dr Aoki is amazing. great explanations. very personable.
Dr. Aoki is just great all-around!
Unable to have virtual visit, short phone visit, with scheduled in person visit
This truely cares about his patients that's why I will trust him as my Dr always great guy nice respectful. Love this Dr always takes care of my needs or concerns
Dr Aoki is very patient and explains things thoroughly.
Just a great Dr! He took the time to draw on his scrubs exactly what he was going to do to our son's knee so we could understand what was going to happen.
still uncertain on what to do but we're trying new things
Dr. Aoki is top notch! class act human!
This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Every person we saw was concerned and helpful. Dr Aoki was amazing. He listened and explained everything in detail. After 6 months of no answers from others, he knew exactly how to help me. I actually started to cry with gratitude and relief !
One of the best doctors I have ever been to.
Dr. Aoki was professional, kind, and caring. He took the time to comprehensively evaluate my case. He was the only surgeon (out of 7) who had a solution in mind for my condition. I am so grateful for Dr. Aoki.
Dr. Aoki is a great doctor, with a friendly and personable demeanor. He's probably the best doctor I've ever had. His diagnoses have always been spot-on and his concern for my comfort and quality of life are top priorities. He has repaired both of my hips and continues to help with my other on-going conditions. I've seen other Orthopedic Specialists for my hips and none have been willing or able to fix the problems, just treat the symptoms. Dr. Aoki addresses the whole situation, which makes him the best in my opinion! I can't recommend him enough! I am forever grateful to him for restoring my hips and my confidence in taking on normal activities again!
Excellent Doc with a great bedside manner
Dr. Aoki took as much time as I needed for all my questions to be answered. He was sincere and made me feel at ease.
Dr. Aoki goes above and beyond in making sure you are happy with the care you are receiving and that you understand procedures and expectations.
Doc Aoki greatly improved the quality of my life. I was always told I would need a replacement. Until I met Doc Aoki and his staff. Thank You all for your hard work and dedication.
Really listened to me and understood my needs
Dr Aoki is amazing.
Thorough, knowledgeable, and caring. GreAt manner.
I've flown multiple times across the country to see Dr Aoki. His expertise, and the care of his staff are second to none.
A top-quality surgeon who will follow you through until you reach your potential. I'm glad there is no age discrimination since I am old and still tore my ACL doing sports. I'm very pleased with my progress so far. Not done healing from the surgery and yet I'm already doing well thanks to the care I've received from Dr. Aoki and his well-trained staff.
Surgeons are not known for gentle bedside manner. It is their skill we want. However, Dr. Stephen Aoki, MD, has both: emotional intelligence and skill in surgery. He is also thoughtful and cautious in making diagnoses and wise in determining the appropriate timing for a procedure.
Dr. Aoki is the best! I feel blessed to have been referred to him. He listened to all my concerns and made sure I was at ease before leaving his office. I would recommend him to anyone who needs orthopedic surgeon!
Cannot recommend Dr. Aoki and his team enough.
Great care from very helpful professionals.
You can't go wrong placing your cares in Dr. Aoki's hands, he is one of the best surgeons. His bedside manner is comforting and reassuring. We are beyond impressed and pleased with the outcome of my son's hip surgery. We feel blessed to have been referred to Dr. Aoki, totally worth the travel to Utah. The online education and videos provided are a wonderful resource. Thank you Dr. Aoki & team for all of your care and compassion, not only for my son, but for every patient you take care of!!
Caring and responsive doctor.
He is the very best of modern medicine, an excellent and precise surgeon who is also able to communicate clearly, conceptualize the problem and stay connected with me as a patient. He also was able to acknowledge my active life style and support wish to maintain my health despite my age.
Dr. Aoki really does care about his patients and is fantastic about addressing concerns with them! I was so grateful for all he did to make us feel at ease with our injury!
He is a great doctor. Very knowledgeable and kind. Love that he talks directly to my son.
I called with a concern today/ everyone was so helpful and went completely out of their way to call me back and provide a solution needed even outside of normal business hours. Reed and Dr. Aoki thank you for such excellent care and concern and for giving my child the very best care! I can't thank you enough!
He's amazing and very thorough.
Dr Aoki is simply the best! He truly cares about doing what's best for the patient. The care that he (and his staff) has show our family means a great deal.
That dude is a craftsman of the highest order.
Dr. Aoki was more accurate in his diagnosis than any other Dr. Ive seen. He also explained my hip issues to me better than any other Dr. has. Thanks for giving me my life back, Dr. Aoki!
We love Dr Aoki. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.
Dr Aoki is the best Dr. So kind and easy to talk to and explains everything so you understand.
Dr. Aoki is wonderful! He is confident in his ability to help my son with his knee surgeries, and he always takes my son's goals into account when treating him. Dr. Aoki was willing to schedule a surgery after hours so that my son could have surgery sooner, giving him time to heal before a trip to Europe in the summer. We are so grateful for the kindness and care Dr. Aoki and his team shows us! We are always confident in his ability to help my son get back to playing baseball, and having strong knees for whatever he wants to do in life.
Dr. Aoki is a very compassionate and passionate healthcare provider. He was able to explain my situation and offer a get-well plan that suited my situation.
Caring, understood my issues, cute
Dr. Aoki has excellent bedside manner, cares for his patients, and is very skilled at what he does. I am so glad my daughter is under his care.
He explained things well and took the time to examine my daughters hip and diagnose the Issue. He did a great job with the surgery and she had minimal pain post op. I think he is a great doctor and there needs to be more like him out there.
I was very impressed with Dr. Aoki. He was friendly, respectful and professional. He came highly recommended from my local orthopedic doctor.
We love Dr. Aoki! He treats our son so well and we trust all of his recommendations and advise. He has ideas on how to fix our sons problems without just jumping to surgery first thing. Couldnt be happier with him.
Dr. Aoki is an amazing dr. So kind and caring. He spent a good amount of time with me, explaining all my options and finding one that worked for me.
Dr Aoki is a amazing physician, excellent bedside manor superior only to his medical talent!
Dr. Aoki is wonderful. Explains everything clearly, gives honest/frank assessments for patient concerns, takes time with his patients and doesn't ever seem rushed. Surgery outcome has been excellent! Highly recommend him.
Dr. Aoki was extremely helpful and easy to talk with.
As always, Dr. Aoki listened to updates I had about my condition and explained the steps moving forward clearly and succinctly. Even though the clinic was running behind and my visit only required a quick check-in, Dr. Aoki made sure any questions were answered and I didn't feel rushed.
Every answer has been "very good" because the care was excellent. Dr Aoki listened and addressed all my concerns. I have enormous confidence in his expertise as a care giver.
Dr Aoki was awesome I could not have been more happy with the way he treated me with the respect he gave me and the knowledge that he has I felt extremely bad that Dr higby sent me to him and feel like both of our times were wasted by Dr higbee I feel truly sorry that Dr higby sent me to Dr Aoki without knowing that there was truly nothing wrong with my hips and that doctor aoki's time was wasted but Dr Aoki was very very nice to me and I truly appreciate him helping me as a follow-up to Dr Aoki I have since found out what was wrong because of his guidance and I truly truly appreciate him helping me
I really appreciated the time that both Dr. Aoki and Dr. Turtle (the resident) took to go over my problem and talk through the options for care going forward. Excellent communication and excellent beside manner from an expert in the field.
Dr Aoki had several others with him. He did all the talking. I would have preferred paperwork at time of visit and not emailed to me. Especially as I have nothing for the x-rays needed
Dr. Aoki was so kind and helpful. He was referred to me by a few friends and I'm so glad to have been able to meet with him. I received great guidance and insight. Thank you!
My experience so far has been excellent. We have taken paths to try to fix my problem before surgery. The doctor has been very supportive of the paths chosen by me and the results have been exactly what I had hoped for. He is very professional and applies no pressure to your decision making.
Dr. Aoki has been my doctor since 2017 and has never failed to be kind. He listens and responds with care, taking into account different life styles and personalities. I am very thankful to have found such a good doctor
I was very impressed at the amount of time Dr. Aoki took to answer all of my questions.
Class act. Really enjoyed getting to know him
Dr. Aoki is extremely kind and empathetic. I felt understood and he took the time to answer my questions in detail.
Dr Aoki is second to none. He is an amazing doctor who takes the time to explain your options, and address your concerns. I've traveled multiple times from out of state to see him and his team and will continue to do so.
Dr. Aoki came highly recommended from friends and colleagues, including orthopedic surgeons in other states, and did a fantastic job with my ACL reconstruction.
Really good
Great Doctor and good to work with.
Fantastic Doctor
So, so wonderful. A breath of fresh air in the orthopedic world. I wish all orthopedic surgeons actually showed they care about the patient like Dr. Aoki does.
Very personable, kind, willing to listen and spend time understanding the chief complaint and presenting a plan of action for care. Wish there were more providers like him.
Hes excellent!!! He was so helpful in trying different options and when they didnt work he scheduled surgery, got us in early because he knew my daughter was anxious to get started, her hip surgery was extremely successful, he was clear on what to expect and why she should follow Protocol but understanding and flexible and listened to her with all her questions and concerns. He spoke to me as a parent and her as a patient- hes an excellent, respectful and caring doctor and we would highly recommend him.
I appreciated that he not only explained the procedure but showed a visual
Dr. Aoki just really seems to care about his patients and is very knowledgeable. He doesn't talk down to us and easily engages with us.
El doctor Aoki es muy amable y explica muy bien todo lo que uno pregunte Antes de la ciruga y despus
The Doctor talked to me like an individual. He treated me like the most important person hed see. He treated me like my issue was the most important issue he had. He never gave me the feeling that he was in a hurry or like my issue was too small for him. He had to refer me on and he personally went and saw that I was scheduled for the Dr he referred me to. Another amazing experience with the U of U most of all I was impressed by Dr Aoki. THANK YOU DR
We drove nearly 4 hours out of our way to see Dr. Aoki as we knew from his reputation he was one of the best. We expected an arrogant doctor because of his reputation but instead he and his staff were polite, helpful and very easy to talk to as well as get our questions and concerns answered. Looking forward to working with him to get some healing done.
Dr. Aoki was knowledgeable, professional, honest and kind. We appreciated how he explained the issues and answered all of our questions. He truly made us feel seen and heard.
He's amazing! Perhaps the best ¿bedside¿ manner I've ever experienced in 33 years of doctor experience
Dr. Aoki was amazing. He was kind, gentle, informative and encouraging. He didn't force me into a decision and was careful to inform me of risks and benefits of surgery and with waiting. He made me feel important and not like I was just another person to see. Highly recommend!
Dr. Aoki is an amazing orthopedic surgeon. I appreciate his kind heart and his expertise. I travel from Boise, ID to see him and it's worth the extra time. The difference between Dr. Aoki and other surgeons I have seen is like night and day!
Dr Aoki is the best!
Dr Aoki is the best!
Dr. Aoki was incredibly kind and personable, but also very knowledgeable. He took time to explain my injury and treatment options. He patiently addressed all of my questions. I left the office feeling trust and confidence in my treatment plan.
Dr. Aoki is amazing. I am so thankful for all he does!
Dr. Aoki is awesome, not much more that can be said.
Dr Aoki is amazing!!
Wendy was awesome!
Best doctor I have ever had easily.
I had gone to this appointment for a check up from a procedure I had on my hip, while I was there I asked about pain I had been having in my knee as well and right away they looked into it and started a treatment for it. I was very pleased in the amount of concern and care they all showed me.
Dr. Aoki had a wonderful bedside manner.
He is clearly knowledgeable. And he takes the time to explain and teach. Fabulous caregiver.
Dr. Aoki is a great surgeon. He is kind and makes sure you understand you options.
He was very well-mannered and didnt pressure me to get surgery. It was fully my choice, and he explained the operation in a way that I could easily understand.
Dr. Aoki and Reed make a great time! I always look forward to seeing both of them.
I needed a little more explanation on my particular condition, why surgery was needed, what it would do for me. That was all explained but very quickly for me. I like more detail and I don't mind seeing xrays and pics.
I have had several different orthopedic surgeries, and Dr. Aoki's level of care and humanity is unparalleled. He is compassionate, easy to understand, impressively knowledgeable, and highly present. I left my pre-operative appointment feeling like I wanted to be his friend because of these compelling qualities. There are not enough positive things I can write to express how pleasant he made my experience adequately.
Stephen Aoki is stellar! What an asset he is.
Loved him! He was very caring and nice. Explained things very well and made sure my daughter understood. I really appreciated that.
Simply one of the best providers in the U Healthcare system.
nice resident, doctor and staff
Dr. Aoki is a brilliant surgeon with the best bedside manner. I live in Boise and have now made the trip to SLC for surgery twice because Dr. Aoki is a superior surgeon. (I've seen several here in Boise to compare). He listens carefully and truly seems to care about the well being of his patients.
Dr Aoki really works to understand a patient's lifestyle and making their care work for them!
My consult was a great experience. I felt like he listened to me and was concerned about the pain I was having and gave me options for treatment.
Dr. Aoki is very skilled as a surgeon but also as a careful diagnostician. On top of that he is a gentle unassuming man who is not intimidating to his patients. Instead he is kind and welcoming.
Other than the fact we could not confirm the need next step because it was a phone call instead of an visit to the clinic, he was really helpful.
I would have just liked to know more options regarding pain. How I can help that- if this doesn't work do I need to schedule another visit with you, are there more options to manage my pain. I am just in so much pain daily I wish we would have gone over that a little bit more
Dr. Aoki was extremely professional, wicked smart, and super cool. I am lucky he was my surgeon. He listened, asked questions, and made sure I understood the procedure.
I have had an extraordinarily good experience with both Dr. Aoki and his staff, including his PA Reed, Angel, and Tiffany. Everyone has been very kind, attentive, clearly answered all of our questions and concerns, and returned our phone calls in a timely way. I would highly recommend Dr. Aoki and his staff. Even the x-ray technician who took me to get an x-ray was very helpful and attentive as I had trouble standing.
Doctor Aoki has been a wonderful doctor for our family over the last 10+ years. We recommend him to people whenever we have an opportunity. We consider him a good friend!
Aoki provided great care to my daughter and listened well to her questions and concerns.
I knew my case would be difficult and didn't expect a resolution or treatment plan at that appointment.
Dr Aoki really takes the time to listen to your concerns and address them all. He has a very calm, careful manner that is very reassuring.Reed is also great! He took extra time to go over a few things with me and I really appreciated it!
Excellent surgeon who really cares about his patients. I had a perfect repair. Everything was explained very well.
I love doctor Aoki he so great
I would recommend Dr Aoki unconditionaly. He is experienced, knowledgeable and brings a listening ear, a deep and broad based understanding of the human body and his own field of expertise. Words fail me. He was the first orthopedist to grasp my complex problem and he did so immediatley and with confidence that he could and would work towards a solution. I am deeply grateful.
Dr Aoki is knowledgeable and skilled and he listens and cares about his patients.
Dr. Aoki is extremely knowledgeable in orthopedics and carefully explains what is necessary for proper care of ones physical needs. The staff at the orthopedic center is very thorough also. Dr. Aoki has examined my knee on two different occasions for different reasons and both experiences were very positive.
We found Dr Aoki to be an extremely caring, talented, and knowledgeable doctor! He is very considerate of his patients and explained things in an easy way for us all to understand. He also listened very well to the way our son's injury occurred, and what kind of activities he wants to continue with. We feel very good about the type of procedure he performed (our son is still growing, so we wanted to find a Dr who specializes in ACL repair surgery for children/teens). Very grateful we got in with Dr Aoki and really appreciate his entire staff!
Kind, caring, good listener
Absolutely fantastic surgeon and a great person! He is kind, knowledgeable, caring, and I have no complaints about my surgery.
Dr Aoki is a thoughtful caring physician He is highly skilled and knowledgeable
Dr.Aoki and his team have done a spectacular job in providing care for my son( 12 yr, ACL repair) . They are attentive , thorough and very patient with him. They answered all of his questions in a manner he could comprehend at his age. I personally loved his confidence in the treatment of my son! He checked in with us during surgery to address my concern of additional damage. He treats his patients like a top priority !
Dr. Aoki has been incredible. He is treating my daughter for a sports related injury, torn meniscus. From day one Dr. Aoki has been upfront and honest with his care plan. He is very clear and explained things in a way that we all could understand. He is very professional, kind, and considerate of his patients needs and wants. It was very important to us for our young athlete to be heard and understood. Dr. Aoki does that. He discusses her treatment with her, not "at" her. She gets a say in her care, she isn't just a bystander. We would recommend Dr. Aoki to anyone needing treatment for a knee injury. He listens. He understands and explains. He cares about his patients. We can not thank him enough for the care his has provided and continues to provide. Thank you Dr. Aoki!
Que es un buen doctor amable y muy bueno en su trabajo fue my bueno averlo conocido
Dr. Aoki has a kind and nurturing way about him. Most importantly he listens and makes you feel like a person.
Dr. Aiko is always very thorough in his examination as well as his explanation for course of care. He takes all the time I need to understand the situation and answer my questions.
Awesome provider! Attentive and he's just the best!!!
As soon as he walked in the room and introduced himself, I just felt calm. He was natural and made me feel validated and heard. He seemed to care more about me as a patient than in just doing an expensive surgery. He seemed humble enough that I could relate and he explained in a way that didnt seem belittling or cocky.
A highly skilled doctor who will give you a state-of-the-art surgery. The best in his field and I will highly recommend him to others. I had pre-hab before surgery, a fantastic surgery for multiple things, and good follow-up after surgery. I'm doing so much better now and feel like a normal person again.
Dr Aoki has the best bedside manner of any physicians I have ever met. He is very efficient while still taking the time to listen to his patients. He and his team have always been amazing. You can tell the caliber of care he shows because it spreads throughout his entire team.
Dr. Aoki has taken tremendous care, he's kind, takes the time to educate you on the procedure, risks and after care. I felt very comfortable and assured that my daughter was in great hands.
Great experience.
I am very pleased with my first consultation with Dr. Aoki. As a nurse and an employee at another healthcare facility, I was impressed how smooth my visit ran. I am very excited to have Dr. Aoki operate on me!
Dr. Aoki is very thorough and takes time to listen and explain. He is understanding and very professional and helpful!
Very professional-listened attentively and responded to questions.
He went over everything I had questions about and agreed to fix everything he saw instead of closing the incisions and making me come back for another operation.
Dr. Aoki, Reed and Angel are fantastic! They were very helpful in getting the appointment set up. Also, Reed and Erin (in the insurance department) were awesome in getting the MRI scheduled for the same day. Also, Erin helped get all of the insurance approvals expedited.
Dr. Aoki is the best doctor I have ever worked with in my life. He gives me direct answers and is clear in any and all expectations.
I felt like a lot it was me asking questions but I wasn't sure what what I should be asking and know exactly what I was supposed to due moving forward to have the best recovery.
Dr. Aoki was great. He listened and answered all the questions I had in my first post-op appointment.
Excellent
Great and in demand doctor, we were impressed and are optimistic about the next steps.
Dr. Aoki was very clear with his explanations. He took his time to make sure I understood.
I felt quite rushed
Loved that Dr Aoki talked to my daughter and let her be part of the discussion. Very impressed with his patient care, knowledge, and professionalism.
The athletic trainer I saw was very kind, and I appreciated that he took plenty of time to answer all my questions. He seemed very knowledgeable. However, I was told I would be seeing Dr Aoki and wasn't notified of any change in that plan. Given that this was my first/only visit since having major surgery performed by Dr. Aoki, I expected to be evaluated by him or at least by a colleague. I felt pretty disappointed about this.
Dr. Aoki is very kind and caring and such a great surgeon.
He's very professional and very knowledgeable and he took the time to explain everything to us. He was kind and explained everything in detail really really really like Dr. Aoki as a doctor.
Dr.Aoki has been so amazing when taking care of our child through two knee surgeries. He listens , is patient and answers all questions . We're so grateful he was our doctor!
Dr. Aoki is knowledgeable, professional, personable, and took great care of my daughter.
Dr. Aoki is amazing! He took the time to explain my condition and clearly outlined a treatment plan. He took the time to listen to me and addressed all my questions. His staff is great as well and I am very satisfied with the level of care received. I couldn't recommend them enough.
Great caring kind doctor
Very attentive to concerns and questions.
Dr. Aoki has a calming presence and truly took the time to answer my questions.
I was impressed with his straightforward approach when explaining what is going to happen.
I would highly recommend Dr. Aoki. He was so attentive and personable, as well as knowledgeable. I was able to have all my needs met and questions answered.
Dr. Aoki is incredible; very thoughtful, kind, and attentive, and obviously very bright and skilled.
Very Knowledgeable and Courteous
Dr. Aoki is very compassionate and took the time to comfort my teenage daughter when she was sad about needing surgery and having to take a break from sports. He explained things very well to her and made her feel comfortable.
Super professional very helpful communication with child was super
Dr. Aoki is all you would hope for in a physician. Walked in, introduced himself and pulled up a chair to sit face to face. Most impressive. He was kind, caring, informative and explained my diagnosis and treatment extremely well. I felt extremely comfortable and confident in his abilities and skills. All of his staff seemed very capable and put me at ease.
all very good
There were pros and cons to the treatment vs no treatment. The doctor laid the issues out well.
Dr. Aoki was very kind and took all the time that we needed.
I felt like I was being rushed out. The doctor that came in with the physician treating me didn't seem interested in what I had to say. It seemed as though he had already made up his mind regarding my issues were but wouldn't listen. There was a previous test that was done that was never referred to in the appointment. I'm not convinced that they actually looked at that test. I sent a message in my chart, but after three working days I still haven't heard a response from the doctor.
Over all everything was the best I've ever experienced wish all facilities were like yours!
excellent caregivers!
Dr. Aoki is exceptional in every way!
Great experience
I was very impressed with Dr. Aoki's bedside manner, his explanation of the surgery, what to expect and the recovery process. I am from out of town and have never been to the clinic or met Dr. Aoki, however, felt very much at ease with him. Kind man and easy to talk to as well.
He was in and out quickly but we talked and agreed on next steps based on xray, history, etc.
Dr. Aoki is a phenomenal surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. It is a blessing to be able to trust that the surgical expertise and care he provides is at the highest level in the country. I am very thankful for the opportunity to have been able to have Dr. Aoki as my surgeon.
Dr Aoki is approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. He includes the child in their care and makes sure they also understand what's going on with them and their health.
Very competent and knowledgeable physician.
Very helpful
Great conversation - all my questions were answered.
Un excelente doctor
Dr. Aoki is amazing. He is at the top of his field, but is still so humble and kind. He thoughtfully puts all the pieces together to develop a care plan that is right for each patient. Dr. Aoki is a phenomenal surgeon who genuinely cares about his patients. Thank you!
He is a very excellent health professional, he is an excellent doctor [TRANSLATED]
Dr. Aoki was phenomenal. He was kind, caring and genuine. He made my daughter feel comfortable with the diagnoses and our treatment options. He really took the time to listen!
Dr. Aoki has a great bedside manner He listens to you and explains everything to you and doesn't make you feel like he is in a hurry to get out of your room. He makes you feel like you're so important to him and your his only patient.
Dr Aoki is awesome. He has helped me through the entire process of my ACL tear, surgery and recovery. Thanks!
Dr. Aoki is the best. He shows concern for patients and his skills at fixing injuries are excellent. Only problem is it takes a long time to get in and to get the process going if you are experiencing a great deal of pain.
Working with Dr. Aoki has been amazing. He is the best at what he does. After two unsuccessfully surgeries, I came to Dr. Aoki and I am finally on the mend because of the work he was able to do.
Great doc so far I have only 1 complaint and that's about pain management for pre-operation
Dr. Aoki is very knowledgeable and is good at explaining things in a way that makes sense.
Dr. Aoki is by far the best medical professional I've ever worked with he is very personable and cared about my concerns.
Dr. Aoki and his team are always so kind and helpful in explaining the plan to treat my son. They give him the best care!
Highly recommend if you are in need of FAI repair or any other issues with your hips! Dr. Aoki is amazing, he cares and is very informative about your diagnosis and procedures needed.
My experience with the entire Aoki team has been nothing short of exceptional. You can truly tell how much Dr. Aoki cares about his patientsÑhe exemplifies what it means to be a present and compassionate provider. At each of my visits he has made me feel heard, seen, and safe. I couldnÕt recommend this team or provider more highly.
It wasn't a video visit. This was a phone call. I was told it would be a virtual visit. The call was a little over 3 minutes. It seemed rushed which I was surprised.
Dr. Aoki, and the staff that work along side him have a very good bedside manner and a caring insite when helping and assessing during appointments.
Dr. Aoki is a gem! He truly cares for your best outcome. Very kind!
Dr. Aoki is extremely kind, caring and respectful. He knows his stuff and takes the time to treat you like a person instead of a customer.
I love Dr. Aoki! He made me feel so comfortable and confident in my future with continuing on with the sports I'd like to continue playing.
