Dr. Summer was a very nice health care professional, she listened to all my questions and her response was phenomenal. I definitely want to see her again on my next appointment.
I am very happy with the way Dr Gibson listens to and openly discusses treatment with me. She is exceptionally supportive!
She is the best very caring and answers all my questions
Summer is caring, professional, well informed; hears how you are feeling, so responsive. Also, positive, encouraging; not alarming. Finds a solution. I am so grateful to be in her care.
Dr. Gibson is an excellent observer and listener who will spend the time necessary to answer questions and engage with you on a personal level; she's empathetic, knowledgeable, and professional.

Dr. Gibson continues to be one of the best medical care providers that I have worked with. She has consistently stayed informed on my condition and always comes prepared to speak to me about my case. Her knowledge is great and she answers all my questions, even when there are redundancies in what I ask. She listens carefully and takes into account what I have to say about my condition and my concerns. Despite how busy she is, Dr. Gibson has never rushed my appointment or made me feel that she needed to move on to the next patient. I know that when I come in for an appointment, I will get her full and undivided attention. I choose to continue as a patient with Dr. Gibson because I know that she understands my health and will give informed answers while collaborating with me.
Dr. Gibson is the gold standard in ALS care. She is direct, but never harsh - always fully present and compassionate. She has a deep understanding of the sorrow of the disease yet remains meaningfully optimistic and encouraging to me and my family. We leave every visit more informed and feeling smarter directly as a result of her direct education on the topic of ALS care and management.

Dr Summer Gibson is a remarkable caring human being. She is always upbeat and professional, my husband says she's bubbly and I agree, I've been seeing her for seven years now, traveling from a community 250 miles away. I'm so happy she's here for us.
Dr Gibson was attentive and had an excellent memory of our prior meeting a year ago. Her assessment of my functional capabilities was thorough and well communicated during our visit. Dr Gibson took the time and gave the attention I needed. I was referred to Dr Gibson by Dr Weiss from the University of Washington where I was first diagnosed with Inclusion Body Myositis. That recommendation was excellent.

The doctor did not provide any Origen of the problem more speculation and there is not a treatment even tho they don't know exactly what is originating the neurology issue . More concern about COVID vaccinate than my reason for the appointment
Dr. Summer Gibson is wonderful! She is the most caring and compassionate doctor I have ever interacted with. She takes an appropriate amount of time with her patients, and always provides excellent, competent assessment of where my disease is at any one time. When one is dealing with a terminal diagnosis, such as ALS, one appreciates so much the kind of care Dr. Gibson gives. She has made this journey, now that I am nearing the end, so much easier and lighter through her compassionate care. I cannot say enough good things about her.

Both times I've met with her she's been patient, fully engaged, happy to answer any questions, and straight, no-BS answers.
It is one week after my appointment. I still do not have access to a summary report, diagnosis, or treatment plan. I am left clueless about what I am supposed to do now. This is the same place I was before I spent 48 hours (including travel) to be seen at U of U Neurosciences Center, Neurology/Neuromuscular Department.
Doctor was professional and had lots of empathy.
I appreciated Dr. Gibson's honesty and recommendations regarding pain management options. She recommended a step approach and clear guidelines.
Dr. Gibson is phenomenal! Always attentive, thorough and very knowledgeable. Has excellent bedside manner and is comfortable answering any/all questions in a way that I can understand.

Dr. Summer Gibson is an exceptional physician. Her medical care was outstanding, but what truly set her apart was her extraordinary warmth and humanity. She listened attentively, explained everything with patience and clarity, and made me feel genuinely cared for as a person, not just as a patient. In one of the most difficult seasons of my life, her presence, compassion, and commitment exceeded all my expectations. I will miss her deeply and will always be grateful for the care she provided to my family and to me.

So grateful to the entire staff. We left there more confident about our future journey thru ALS. A big Thank You to doctors and staff!
I'm an ICU nurse and I can say that I have never had or been associated with a group of professionals like my visit here. Each one took the time to really listen and to try to understand what I am going through. For the first time, I really feel hope that someone is going to help me.
