He was very efficient and competent and did his best to make me comfortable. He was very good at explaining what was happening and what I needed to do during the process the results were unexpectedly worse than I anticipated and he was kind and compassionate when I responded a little emotionally.

Extremely competent, hard working and caring

Tad welcomed me and my wife as scheduled with friendly information about the process of obtaining hearing aids for me. He explained the need to determine the measurement of the degree of hearing loss digitally and recommended a type of hearing aid that would meet my needs. On the second visit he showed me how to place a hearing aid behind and in both ears. He then tested my ability to her my wife's soft voice from a distance as well as background voices in the lobby. On the follow up visit he checked the hearing aid for removal of ear wax and emphasized the need to clean the end of it properly. He was happy with my progress and suggested that I return in a year to evaluate the condition of the hearing aids. He also said that I could ask for an appointment any time to solve any problem that may arise. He worked patiently, efficiently and thoroughly with me and established a process that enabled me to hear much better and to use and recharge the hearing aids as needed.

Tad is a professional AUD who thoroughly knows his job and discusses options and choices clearly. He asked for my wife to enable me to hear her voice clearly and to assist me in placing the hearing aids in properly. Tad will see me again in 3 weeks to check that everything is working properly. Tad Bergen saw me very promptly, answered all my questions, tested my hearing aids to make sure they were working well, adjusted the balance for me, and was very supportive and caring. The first time I met with him, I had discovered I had colon cancer just an hour before. I received a call from Huntsman while in his office. He has been incredibly supportive and caring, adjusting my appointments for my cancer surgery and hospitalizations. I highly recommend him!

Dr Bergen is an excellent audiologist. He connected with my daughter and made my her feel right at ease. Before he began the testing he made sure that she understood what was going to happen. Throughout the testing he told jokes and made sure she was comfortable. Dr Bergen is a great Audiologist. He cares about his patients and went out of his way to make sure the test results were forwarded to the Dr that needed them. He explained the results to us and even walked us out afterwards. We couldn't have asked for better care.

Nice person but he started my appt late. Seems good at what he does. On the last part of this question (Including you in decisions...) that's not really relevant to this part. There was only one decision -- to NOT go through the audiology test -- and that was denied. He said it's "mandatory" before ENT will see a patient.
