Theresa A. Sofarelli, PA-C

Theresa Sofarelli, PA-C initially worked with the Infectious Diseases Division at the University of Utah from the Spring of 2004 through the Fall of 2011. She then worked in Primary Care in San Francisco, California for six years before rejoining the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Fall of 2017. She sees patients in the Infectious Diseases Outpatient Clinic at the University of Utah. Her area of interest is Tropical and Travel Medicine. She holds a Certificate in Travel Health issued by the International Society of Travel Medicine, which recognizes individual excellence of knowledge in Travel Medicine. She also sees patients with general infectious diseases. Theresa speaks English and Spanish.

Ms. Sofarelli received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. She received her master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Utah Physician Assistant Program in Salt Lake City, Utah.
