I first met Dr. Gibbons on a follow-up visit after eye surgery. I was impressed with his diligence of taking a few extra minutes to familiarize himself personally with my history and recent eye surgery. I was so impressed with his knowledge of my journey with Moran Eye, his thoughtfulness in explaining to my husband and me so we could understand and when he answered our questions we had a renewed understanding of how to go forth. After my eye surgery and recovery, new glasses were needed. I chose to go back to Dr. Gibbons for the renewed prescription. I would highly recommend Dr. Gibbons to others.

it was 5:30 pm when i was done with Dr. Gibbons. i wanted to look at glasses, but clinic was closing and referred me to look at a bigger selection in south jordan. it would have been nice to be able to look at some glasses to fill my eye prescription then. other than that they are great

Very happy with my care
My eyes are quite challenging and it has been hard to know what is thee Red best way to treat them. I am still having a hard time seeing out of my right eye to read. Cataracts are a real problem, but Doctor Gibbons Is doing the best possible job to help me see and have a good experience before cataract surgery. We have needed to change to soft contacts which has been very difficult for my eyes to see well, but he has helped to make It possible and hopefully the surgery will be successful. I have always been told that nothing could be done, but he is helping the process go forward with determination that it will be successful.

Cataracts are a real problem, but Doctor Gibbons Is doing the best possible job to help me see and have a good experience before cataract surgery. We have needed to change to soft contacts which has been very difficult for my eyes to see well, but he has helped to make It possible and hopefully the surgery will be successful. I have always been told that nothing could be done, but he is helping the process go forward with determination that it will be successful.

This visit should solve some vision problems that my last pairs of glasses from another provider did not - ever. I haven't actually received the glasses yet, though.

Dr Gibbons was kind and caring as well as very thorough.
Dr. Gibbons looked thoroughly in both eyes for any signs of the retina detaching as I had floaters and flashes of light when I blinked.
Dr. Gibbons was excellent. I was truly impressed by his level of care. I was expecting to just get my vision tested but he did a thorough eye exam and explained why I was sometimes experiencing blurred vision.

I've had issues with my eye concerns not being listened to or taken seriously in the past, and not only did Dr. Gibbons listen to my concerns but it felt like he actually cared and gave great medical advice on the matter.

He explained the best options for me between progressive or office lens and why I may not be a good candidate for lasik or contacts. Dr Gibbons told me if I have any problems to let him know. He also told me another location he works out of that was closer to my home.

I didn't realize that I had a dry eye problem, Dr. Gibbons gave me a couple of different samples of eye drops and also taught me how to massage my eyelids to unclog the ducts.
He was willing to answer all of my questions and made me feel comfortable discussing my eye condition.

Dr. Gibbons was extremely thorough in his examination. He went through the changes in my eyes, listened to my concerns and discussed options for now and for the future. He made sure I totally understood what was going on with my eyes and a loose timeline for actions I will need in the future. I booked this appointment time so that I could see Dr. Gibbons and not any of the other doctors since I was so impressed with him the year before. I was there with my daughter who was also seeing Dr. Gibbons. He discussed problems with her eyes that were in her chart that no one before had ever told her about. He explained in length what the condition was and how it would or would not effect her eyesight.
Dr. Gibbons is such a fantastic eye doctor, I have and will continue to refer him to friends and family. He is the only eye doctor that can get my son to corporate with an eye exam. He is a fantastic listener and you know he cares about you as a person and patient!

I also informed the doctor that I am autistic. He did a great job of explaining what to expect, and stopping to check in on me while using the lights to look into my eye. He was patient when I had to stop him because it was too much. Like the assistant, he did not make a big deal out of it and made me feel perfectly normal; not at all like I was a child, difficult, or different. This is a huge deal as someone who regularly feels like doctors are annoyed and rushing me, thus making an already overwhelming medical appointment even more unpleasant. I greatly appreciate how both the doctor and nurse/assistant treated me.
