The Introduction to Diabetes Workshop is for anyone worried about their risk of diabetes or who already have diabetes. This two-hour workshop reviews the lifestyle changes that can prevent or potentially reverse diabetes.

We will look at:

  • Nutrition: making eating healthy and enjoyable,
  • Physical activity: move more and feel better,
  • Sleep: better sleep means lower blood sugar,
  • Stress: lower stress improves numbers like blood sugar and blood pressure, as well as improves energy, mood, and focus,
  • Support: connection with others is an important part of overall health,
  • Motivation: this is the most important part, and
  • Resources to make lifestyle change possible.
