Moran Doctors and Scientists to Present Latest Research at ARVO Annual Meeting

Scientists and physicians from the John A. Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah will present research and lead workshops on a vast array of topics during the upcoming annual meeting of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO).

"From bench to bedside and back" is the theme of ARVO 2019, running April 28–May 2 in Vancouver, Canada. ARVO is the world’s largest eye and vision research organization.

Scientific presentations from Moran faculty, fellows, and residents include the preliminary results from a clinical trial in Spain to develop a prosthetic for artificial sight as well as new clinical insights into eye diseases using a cutting-edge imaging tool at Moran called Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Ophthalmoscopy (FLIO) —the only camera of its type in the U.S.
