Dr Error has carefully treated my left ear for many years with procedures that have reversed my hearing loss. It has been advantageous to be cared for by someone who is so well trained In ENT issues.
This doctor is dismissive and condescending. Would not recommend unless you have an emergency.

Even though it was very clear within the first few minutes that I am not a good fit for the medical procedure which he specializes in, Dr Error went above and beyond to answer lots of questions during my consultation. He explained treatment options and outcomes and helped me understand the risks associated with various procedures. I had an appointment with Dr. Marc Error. He and his assistant, Stacy, are why I love going to the U for my health care issues. I had seen another ENT (not at the U) and wanted a second opinion. Dr. Error was light years better than the previous ENT at explaining what was wrong and what my options for treatment were. He listened carefully and then spoke clearly in a language that a non medical person can understand. I recommend him highly to anyone in need of an ENT doctor.

Marc was very helpful in explaining during the examination what was causing my issues with breathing through my nose. He also explained some options in the future if needed and also explained some tips to help me breath better at night.
Dr Error has been a great doctor with treating me. He has a way of explaining things to me without any confusion. He really cares about me as a patient, and it's nice to even have a fun personality with health conditions that can be very serious.

Marc didn't read or didn't have access to any information as to why I was referred to his clinic. He acted like I'd been told I didn't need follow up care when in fact I was referred precisely because my primary care provider thought I needed a follow up. I wish Marc could have been more helpful in explaining what was clearly a mistake on my primary care provider's part, but instead I left his office feeling invalidated and confused. He needs to exhibit better listening skills, and he should have already known why I was referred.

Doctor Error is very kind and took the time to make sure I was safe and comfortable, in both the actual care as well as recommendations for what to do in the future.
Prior to this appointment, Dr. Marc Error had thoroughly reviewed the medical history faxed from a previous care provider (now retired) and with this review, quickly diagnosed the current condition. His discussion of the condition and path forward were clear and informative.
Dr. Error's attitude expressed regarding my previous providers (colleagues at the University) was unprofessional. After the examination, I asked specific questions to determine if my nosebleeds could be related to my other known medical conditions, his responses to me were dismissive. I felt my concerns were not heard or that I was wasting his time. I could have skipped this appointment and been fine and money ahead or waited another month to see my preferred provider Dr. McRae.
I brought up pain in my throat and he responded "well that sounds like a lung issue which is outside my expertise. You should talk to your primary about that." He brushed it off like it was nothing. I had to explain it was excruciating pain that I'd been experiencing for 7 days. I understand if he doesn't know how to help me but I was shocked by the lack of empathy and lack of desire to help a sick patient. A doctor that can't do anything for a cough? Can't even take a look at my throat or listen to my lungs? That's extremely disappointing. He treated me like a nuisance wasting his time. His nurse assistant stood there and didn't do anything either. He seemed annoyed with my cough and flatly said I should get tested for Covid (which I did and was negative). I left the appointment crying because I'd never experienced such emotionless care from hospital staff.

Dr. Error is amazing!! Very thorough and attentive. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
the reason for my answer on #4 is the care provider indicated he usually sees patients when they need surgery so, for that I would recommend. I choose to see a doctor because I have a complicated health situation and felt more comfortable with the doctor- but was a little embarrassed to have taken his time.
I was very impressed with Dr. Error's professionalism, his thoroughness in explaining my condition, and his interaction with me.
I was extremely impressed with the time Dr. Error took with me. He listened carefully, answered questions, and provided options. He did a thorough exam beyond just looking down my throat with a light. It is the first time in years I felt like a doctor actually cared about what was happening with my throat and head.
Don't be fooled by his name, Dr. Error is one of the best doctors I've ever had. it's always a pleasure to have an appt with him. He's very considerate and makes sure all your questions are answered, and that you feel confident about your care and the info he has provided. I can tell he really cares about how I am doing, and that I'm not just another chart to get through. He also responds to messages in myChart well. 5 stars without hesitation.
Despite his name, Dr. Error is the best! Very thorough and very caring. He always makes sure all questions are answered and understood. He is also an excellent surgeon. Definitely will and have recommended him!

Honestly Dr Error provided the most outstanding care I've ever experienced. he was incredibly attentive and thorough. His care and concern as he worked to identify each and every symptom was remarkable. I didn't feel rushed and I walked away with solutions and a plan for managing my care moving forward..

Dr Error was very patient and listened to my whole long history then gave his detailed opinion of what he believed to be going on. He gave multiple treatment options and rated them in terms likelihood of need, priority of need and timeliness of need
Dr. Error and the resident that was with him were both very personable and receptive. Took time to listen and asked if I had questions not just once, but a few times throughout my visit to be sure we were on the same page. Also took time to make sure they understood notes written about me, and clarified what was written with me to make sure they were correct. One of the best experiences I've ever had with a doctor's visit! 5 stars!
Provider seemed in a hurry and I felt very rushed through the appointment.
Dr Error did a great job of interacting with my teenager and explaining all the possibilities:complications about the surgery she would like.

He did ask me a couple of questions to gauge what my opinion would be, rather than just tell me what the options are and send me on my way. It was close to a discussion, rather than a lecture.
Dr. Error and his assistant were very professional and made sure I felt safe during my visit, as well as being thorough in explaining my diagnosis. We have been staying with the UofU because of the great care at Stansbury UofU Clinic, which is where we have seen him in the past. Tooele Valley is lucky to have such a professional group, and when we are referred to the UofU in Sugarhouse, SLC or another location we feel confident in their care.
Dr Error is very easy to talk to and he explains things very clearly.
Doctor needs to be friendlier. hes very good at explaining what could be wrong and reasons, but did not even smile.
