Dr. Moss is triple board-certified in medical toxicology, addiction medicine, and emergency medicine.

He serves as the medical director of the Utah Poison Control Center. The poison center hosts learners from a variety of disciplines including pharmacy students, pharmacy residents, emergency medicine residents, and a variety of other medical specialty residents.

He provides inpatient consultation on toxicology patients at the University of Utah and Primary Children's Hospital. He also provides inpatient consultation on addiction medicine (opioid use disorder, medication assisted treatment, alcohol withdrawal, etc.) at the University Hospital.
