Patient Terms & Conditions for Text Messaging
When you sign up for text messages from this service, you are signing up to receive text messages related to your relationship with University of Utah Health and the following independent, third-party health care facilities and providers (“Independent Providers”) for whom U of U Health provides this contracted service:
- Carson Tahoe Health
- Fourth Street Clinic
- Sublette County Rural Health
You will only receive messages from the providers and facilities where you receive health care services.
Text messages sent through this service relate to your visits, MyChart account, one-time passcode, billing notifications, and care management. They may also include the following details, but not limited to:
- medication details (name, fill status, etc.);
- appointment details (date, time, location, provider name, etc.); and
- billing notifications (billing amount due, last 4 digits of credit card, etc.).
You can opt in and out of specific types of text messages on the Communications Preferences page in your MyChart account.
You can opt out of all SMS messages by texting STOP to 32359. Your opt-out request will generate one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive SMS messages from 32359. If you want to join again, sign up using MyChart or text HELP to 32359 for instructions.
If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance or you can get help directly at 801-213-0750.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency may vary.
Information gathered in the SMS campaign will not be shared for marketing purposes. Read our full patient privacy policy.
