“Your life experiences build who you are.” From a young age, Wes, a second year medical student here at #UUSOM was taught to respect and serve the elder community. It was through these experiences that he discovered his strong interest in the aging process, leading him to become involved in geriatric research, and hospice care. He shares his thoughts on how to demonstrate your passion for medicine on your med school application, the importance of maintaining a healthy school/life balance, and the best and most challenging aspects of being in medical school.
