As said previously, I have send several people to Dr. Cahill. She takes her time, attacks the chief complaint with competency and efficiency. She always leaves the feeling that she really cares about the patient's , me in this case, issues. She asks great questions and has impeccable bed side manner.

Dr. Cahill is a joy to work with, and I trust her implicitly. If she told me that jumping off a tall building would make me feel better, I'd do it. I've noticed in recent appointments a "this is what we're going to do" approach to my care. I don't complain about that specifically because she's excellent at what she does, and things generally work out. I would like more input into the decision-making process. I would like it very much if she would say to me, "This is what is going on, and these are our options. The advantages and disadvantages of each one are ___, and I think doing ___ would be the best course of action because of ____. What do you think about that? Are you comfortable with that approach?" That would give me a much stronger sense of control over my own health, and I don't have that feeling right now.
