My ten minute appointment was mostly dedicated to the Resident who was "shadowing" the doctor in order to learn the EHR.

Dr. Sanyer always takes the necessary time with me, listens to me and explains things well. The only issue is that he can be hard to see, but if I work to schedule early enough, I have no problem. I'm not sure recommending him to others would allow them to see him (but I assume that is not exactly the reason you ask the question about likelihood to recommend, but instead you are using it for an NPS).

Dr. Sanyer is one of the most thoughtful, kind, brilliant, and relatable physicians I know and there Is no doubt the value he brings to this organization. He hasn't seen my daughter since she was 12 and welcomed us back without judgement but rather a genuine interest in helping us navigate a new health challenge for my 17 yo daughter. He was genuinely committed and humble in his approach. It is obvious his motivation is simply to help my daughter live a more comfortable and confident teenage life. He exceeded my expectations in his sensitivity to learn about her as an individual with all of her aspirations etc He took time to discuss with her the options for addressing her medical issue and reviewed all of the pros and cons of each in a way that she could understand. It meant so much to me that he took the time to acknowledge how hard it must be for her as an otherwise healthy and active 17 yo to be getting frequent lab draws, clinic visits, and making appointments rather than living a normal teenage life. While I assumed my daughter would feel most comfortable seeing a woman provider, she came away from this appointment expressing her trust and confidence in him. As a provider myself, I am so impressed with both the breadth and depth of his knowledge and most of all his humility. It is clear that U of U Health prides itself in hiring the best and the brightest and I feel so fortunate to be part of this great organization.
