I was under the impression that I was going to get my sleep study test that day and not have to wait another 2 weeks to receive it. The doctor told me everything I already knew and never really asked about my symptoms.

When I first show Dr H 3 years ago at the sleep/wake center I was impressed with him which is why I chose to follow him to the Daybreak center even though it adds 20 miles to my trip.

He listened very well to my concerns and was willing to run a test for a condition that was possible even though he said it was unlikely.Humoring me like that made me feel respected. He also explained in simple terms why the test he ordered was better than the one I had suggested.I really like Dr. H and am grateful for how good of an experience overall it has been despite the daunting task we both face of figuring out a very complex case.

I am very uncomfortable about doing the sleep study. The doctor and assistant went out of their way to help me, got me into a great time for my study, and explained to me about everything I am worried about. They set it up that my daughter could sleep in a recliner in the room too. I am still worrying, but am feeling more comfortable too. Also, since I live in Nevada and have to travel 4hours one way, they set up the appointment for the same day as 2other appointments. They are my heroes!

Dr. Hollingshaus was very informative. He answered all of my questions clearly and in detail. I was the last pateint to meet with him late on a Friday evening, but I felt like he treated me with the same care and time that he would have taken with anyone. I was never rushed. He gave me options with care and explained them fully, while giving opinions about each option. He was great!

I am so fortunate to have found Dr. Hollingshaus. I learned more in one hour than I have in 14 years. He is not only extremely qualified and knowledgeable, but he is kind and concerned. He completely understood my issues and explained what was happening to me in a way that I could understand.

he doesn't appear very professional, he wasn't really open to my concerns about treatment and blew me off a little when I tried to express my concerns.he also said something to the effect of "your case is interesting" which causes me to think that he's never seen a case like mine and it worries me that he doesn't know exactly what to do to fix my problems.

Unlike my referring doctor, Dr. Register, Dr. Hollinghaus actually listened attentively to my complaints and assessed them without a preconceived notion of a diagnosis he had already decided I have. In allowing me to tell him what problems were most troublesome and what symptoms I'm actually experiencing, he gave me a better quality of care instead of the runaround I've been getting for years.
