Services
On-Site Sleep Facilities
With so many different problems that can cause poor sleep, it can be hard to know exactly why you're not sleeping well. Sleep Wake Services provides vital on-site sleep facilities managed by experts who use special equipment to monitor your sleep and diagnose the cause of your sleeping problems.
Using an overnight sleep recording called a polysomnography, some of this equipment monitors your:
- breathing,
- oxygen levels,
- rapid eye movement, and
- other important measures during your sleep.
Observation & Evaluation of Sleep Patterns
Diagnosing the true cause of sleep disorders requires testing by experts. Sleep Wake Services provides the following tests to observe and evaluate your sleep patterns.
- Overnight polysomnogram (PSG)
- Multiple sleep latency test -- A daytime nap study that measures how quickly you fall asleep during the day. It is often used to diagnose narcolepsy.
- Actigraphy -- A wristwatch-like device that records your movements.
- PAP-NAP studies -- A daytime sleep study conducted to desensitize patients who are anxious about PAP (positive airway pressure) therapy.
- Home sleep testing
Home Testing Equipment
We understand it can be more convenient to monitor your sleep patterns from home. Our Sleep Wake team provides home testing equipment that allows you to record critical measures of good sleep including:
- oxygen levels,
- your breathing,
- rapid eye movement, and more.
