Darin Ryujin, Associate Professor (clinical) is a Physician Assistant at the Sleep Wake Center. He has provided patient care at the Sleep-Wake Center since 2003. As a Sleep Medicine provider, his clinical interests include general, sleep-health disparities and cross-cultural sleep medicine.

Darin received his Master’s of Science from Marshall University and his Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He is the Associate Chair for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine and also the Director of Inclusion and Diversity at the University of Utah Physician Assistant Program. He is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Thoracic Society and American Academy of Physician Assistants.

The appoint with the PA was excellent. The clinic was missing hardware (large masks), so I was unable to explore additional treatment options to help with a problem I was having (mask leak). That was a bummer.

we discussed my medication load and side effects and since he was not the one prescribing the medications he and I were questioning the doseing of nor was he the provider treating me for the disorders I am taking them to help with he offered to get ahold of my other providers for me to explain his thoughts on medication dose changes... a huge help and something I wish other providers would do

I felt more confident about using my C-PAP and improving my sleep after this visit.
