  • Dr. Shannon Brady is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Primary Children’s Hospital. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology at Connecticut College followed by her medical degree from The Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont. Her interest in medicine originates from experiences working as an EMT and patient care technician.

    She completed her Pediatric residency and Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at the University of Utah (Primary Children’s Hospital).

    Her academic interests include pediatric readiness, pre-hospital care of children, rural and underserved healthcare and simulation. She sees patients in the Emergency Department and Rapid Treatment Unit at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City as well as in Lehi.

    Outside of medicine, she enjoys Utah’s natural beauty to the fullest through mountain biking, rock climbing, backcountry skiing and camping off the grid.
