Dr Werner is the Best Oncologist I've ever had: I've had 3: Univ of Wisconsin: Dr Rice (Excellent)& Some doc in Univ. of CO: more interested in my necklace. Werner is Knowledgeable & Professional, but she is So Nice & Very Easy to talk to. She is concerned with the mental emotional aspect as well as the physical issues at hand. All information & Options are addressed & discussed. if a question is still out there when she leaves the room, I am given a call & decisions are made. I appreciate Her entirely as My Oncologist & Trust Her Research & Understandings of Medicine always being updated constantly. She gives me Peace of Mind. I am able to Heal: Emotionally, Spiritually, Mentally, & Physically! Thank You Huntsman for having the Best Physician Nurse Team Ever: Dr Werner & Stephanie.

most of the visit was conducted with a resident whom I had not seen before. I felt like he was fairly thorough in gathering information, when the physician came on the line...not sure anything had been communicated with her with any detail. I think for a virtual visit, it may have been better to see Esther...the NP who knows my Hx and concerns.

Didn't like not seeing my onc. team, but totally understood why we had to do it this way. They asked me if I would be okay doing a telehealth appointment and I said yes. But...I didn't! Esther and Teresa answered all my questions and I wouldn't of received any other information had I seen them in person, its just nice to see them and have them do an actual physical exam (even though I had no complaints). Of course I understand the reason and the nurse, Esther and Teresa did a great job!!

Dr. Werner came in directly to me and looked me right in the eye, introduced herself and gave me a little background about her knowledge in ovarian cancer and the work she is doing in clinical trials, which calmed me, however on a interesting side-note, when we first received the Huntsman Cancer information and I was briefly glancing through the pamphlet my eyes landed on her picture and I said to my husband; I want her to be my Doctor'. Weird. Dr. Werner then got a piece of paper and wrote down everything she was saying to us - which has been so helpful as we refer to it often; information coming at you very quickly is very overwhelming. She hugged me good-bye - I feel she really cares if I live or die . . .

UofU Patient December 15, 2016

my chemo dr is the best I have had in my life. my questions and my concerns are taken care of by the whole team, but I am well informed of coming changes and have a say in all decisions.

UofU Patient December 05, 2016

For number 3, showed very good concern but seemed unwilling to be patient-centered in my request for additional prevention medications for CINV, which is very important to me and a very reasonable request with excellent justification. My expectation was that the provider would be more open to tailoring a regimen for me, rather than simply going with the 'standard approach' for all patients.

UofU Patient November 26, 2016

I have told everyone if they want good care, go to the Huntsman Center. They are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UofU Patient November 06, 2016

Dr Werner and her team are The Best. she saved my life. There is no way I can explain my gratitude for my amazing team. How do you thank people that saved your life?? There are no words.

UofU Patient September 03, 2016

I tell people all the time about the great care I receive at HCI.

UofU Patient August 28, 2016

A much much better experience in the fragmented care I have had in Ogden Utah

UofU Patient August 16, 2016

UofU Patient July 22, 2016

UofU Patient July 09, 2016

My care is exceptional. Thank you so very much. I am very grateful.

UofU Patient June 11, 2016

She is a great doctor. I love her and her team. She is careful of my needs. Also her fellow Dr. Green is a very good doctor with great attention to details.

UofU Patient May 31, 2016

extremely helpful, taking time to make sure we understood, and answered every question.

UofU Patient May 09, 2016

Did not meet with the doctor at this appointment.

UofU Patient April 28, 2016

Dr. Werner and her nurses, Rachel and Stephanie, are a fabulous team. They answer all my questions and give me information that I had not thought of. They are very thorough in their explanations and I know if I have additional questions or concerns I can call at anytime and receive a response in a timely manner.

UofU Patient April 23, 2016

Dr. Wernerhas to be the most competent hysician in the Institute. that's how much confidence I have in her and in her team. they all know their jobs and they know my medical situation. The nurses know when they don't know the answer to my question, and they find out. if the situation I present is within their sphere of competence, I get a correct, clear, and prompt answer.

UofU Patient April 08, 2016

Dr.Werner is fabulous. She acres and dates your feelings.

UofU Patient April 08, 2016

I love Theresa Werner - she is the best!

UofU Patient March 17, 2016

The Best sevices

UofU Patient February 16, 2016

My "team" at Huntsman is the absolute BEST.. Dr Werner, Esther, Stephanie, Rachel, Karen are all amazing ladies. I know I am in the best of hands. I Love Them All:):)

UofU Patient February 03, 2016

Before going into the appointment I had heard very good things about Dr. Werner and her team. The whole team was great and very helpful and knowledgeable about my case. I felt like they knew almost everything that had happened to me since diagnosis and that they really cared about the success of treatment. Dr. Werner took time to write out the plan for treatment, explain how it would work and the importance of each part. She's wonderful and made me feel like I mattered.

UofU Patient January 29, 2016

Dr. Werner is always positive, kind and with wit to make me laugh. I can't ask any better Medical Oncologist and her nurse Stephanie's sincere care. I am so grateful that I have met such an amazing doctor and nurses who think of patients' best being. Thank you so much for saving so many lives!!

UofU Patient January 22, 2016

The team was very accommodating

UofU Patient December 18, 2015

Dr. Werner and her team are simply the best you will find in the medical institutions on this hill. The MA, nurses, APRN, and Dr. Werner herself are knowledgeable, competent, and very careful about what they do in administering care to the patient. Dr. Werner does not hesitate to call in specialists from other fields as necessary. There is nothing these people won't do to help me feel well.

UofU Patient December 14, 2015

The whole team was warm and friendly and seemed very competent.

UofU Patient December 06, 2015

All of the caregivers were awesome. They seemed to know their roll in my care. They were all so positive. They took plenty time in listening to my concerns. They treated me as if my daughters and I were the only one there.

UofU Patient November 26, 2015

I really like my doctor ,the student was not a good

UofU Patient November 25, 2015

My Team, the entire Team, is the absolute best. There is no doubt in my mind and my heart that Dr Werner, Esther, Rachel, Stephanie, Karen, Grace saved my life. I am so very blessed and thankful for them all. I know if I have a question, concern I can contact anyone on my Team and they will be there for me.

UofU Patient October 31, 2015

My care providers are amazing! I hate completing this evaluation after every visit - it's the only thing I dislike about HCI

UofU Patient October 30, 2015

I felt rushed, and the onset of information was too quickly presented for me to process. However, I do understand this physician is extremely busy with other patients. I do feel that more time taken would have been nice without the feeling of everyone rushing to get off work. Because of the delay, we had to hurry to get my blood work done before 6pm-it was 5:55 when we finished out visit. I am still unsure when I pick up my meds, how to schedule them with the chemo. I do not feel confident or knowledgeable about my care, and I have not felt this way with any of my other doctors. They have really taken the time to explain things to me.

UofU Patient October 18, 2015

I have been seen at least once a year for the past 10 years.

UofU Patient August 27, 2015

Dr. Werner and her staff are always friendly and compassionate. I have complete trust in their treatment plan for me. I would never go anywhere else!!

UofU Patient August 17, 2015

dr Werner and her Team are the absolute best. They saved my lifeð¿¿¿

UofU Patient July 06, 2015

My family members and myself left your clinic with HOPE instead of fear. There are no words to express the love and respect we have for all Dr. Warner's staff.

UofU Patient June 15, 2015

I always feel informed about what is going on in my treatment and general situation.

UofU Patient June 12, 2015

I had the best experience I have ever had with a clinic since I have been out here. Everyone was so nice and explained things better than anyone has ever done.

UofU Patient May 07, 2015

Dr. Werner is a shining example of the very best healthcare provider on the planet! She gave me hope again at a time when I'd lost all hope in surviving....

UofU Patient April 23, 2015

We liked Dr. Werner very much and the entire "team" was very friendly and thorough.

UofU Patient April 19, 2015

Dr. Werner and her team are wonderful to me. I also had an infusion and Mary S. was my nurse. I can't say enough good things about her. She is efficient and very kind.

UofU Patient April 18, 2015

dr. Werner and her team are wonderful, they take great care of me.

UofU Patient April 03, 2015

Theresa Warner is the best! I just love her and the care she gives me!

UofU Patient April 01, 2015

your chart needs about three more boxes on the very good end to register the amount of confidence I have in Dr. Werner and her team.

UofU Patient March 23, 2015

Thank you for taking time to answer my questions. Things are going well and your friendly manner makes it easy to make all these visits.

UofU Patient March 20, 2015

Dr. Werner is the best, and I know I can trust her judgement when decisions are made about my care.

UofU Patient March 11, 2015

great place

UofU Patient February 11, 2015

Dr Werner and her Team are The BEST

UofU Patient February 03, 2015

waiting 3 hours is not acceptable.

UofU Patient December 27, 2014

We highly recommend Huntsman to anyone who asks us about Cancer Treatment

UofU Patient December 24, 2014

this was just for labs- not to see the doctor

UofU Patient November 20, 2014

Dr Warner is amazing. Always willing to take as much time as necessary with me, explaning everything. She is caring, funny and the best there is. IF I have to have Cancer, I am blessed to have her as my MD:)

UofU Patient September 25, 2014

Dr Werner is one of the best doc's I've ever worked with. She is extremely thorough, is a good communicator, and I can tell she genuinely care about me

UofU Patient September 13, 2014

I never did see Dr. Werner that day, but have complete confidence in Esther and am grateful to have such a good team advising and helping me. Thank you.

UofU Patient September 04, 2014

Love my doctors

UofU Patient August 17, 2014

My care couldn't have been better.

UofU Patient August 07, 2014

Once again, I felt like the doctor and everyone involved cared about me.

UofU Patient July 31, 2014

Teresa (Dr. Werner) is just the best. I'm so glad she's my doctor. She remembers me and my concerns even though we're down to 6 month visits.

UofU Patient July 31, 2014

Esther and Dr. Werner are always very concerned about my welfare. I trust them completely. they always remember my history and address my concerns and questions.

UofU Patient July 11, 2014

Dr. Werner is off the chart in her care and treatment, especially of this non-routine situation.

UofU Patient June 16, 2014

I would strongly recommend this hospital and all the staff members to anyone with any situation similar to mine.

UofU Patient June 12, 2014

the Huntsmen Center is The Best of Everything

UofU Patient June 11, 2014

Dr. Werner is excellent.

UofU Patient June 09, 2014

The staff at Hntsman was amazing!

UofU Patient May 30, 2014

Love Dr. Soisson, Dr. Werner, and all their nurse's and associates.

UofU Patient May 18, 2014

Routine port flush - the nurses in the lab are always very courteous. This was on the day the clinic moved to their new location, so they were somewhat concerned about my privacy - but I was not concerned.

UofU Patient May 15, 2014

DR. THERESA WERNER AND HER STAFF ARE ALWAYS PLEASANT AND PROVIDE GREAT INFORMATION.

UofU Patient May 11, 2014

My questions are always answered... I never have any concerns. I know I'm in good hands. Happy Mother's Day, all...

UofU Patient May 09, 2014

MY DREAM TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UofU Patient April 18, 2014

I love the team Dr. Werner has and I love Dr. Werner. I feel safe with her, listened to and considered in the decisions about my health. The Huntsman Center is not close to my home and I was thinking of going to a place closer to my home but I will not because of my confidence in Dr. Werner. I also worked with Wendy Kohlman that day and Wendy is also incredible. She is very dependable, knowledgable, and hard working.

UofU Patient April 05, 2014

Dr. Werner and her staff always are excellent !

UofU Patient March 30, 2014

Theresa Werner and her nurse Stephanie are awesome!

UofU Patient March 16, 2014

My visits with Dr. Werner are always a good experience.

UofU Patient March 13, 2014

perfect

UofU Patient March 07, 2014

they are all great...

UofU Patient March 05, 2014

I got good vibes from the staff and continue to with my following treatments.

UofU Patient January 25, 2014

One of the best experiences I've ever had with a physician....Dr. Werner listens, provides sound easy to follow instruction and compassion and encouragement rarely seen in a clinical setting.

UofU Patient January 25, 2014

good explanations and description. however, I was asked the same questions the previous three doctors asked. the exam made my pain worse and no one offered to help me with it until the drs left the room and I couldn't even stand. the nurse had remained behind to go over side effects and immediately took steps to get me some pain relief. she was wonderful.

UofU Patient January 19, 2014

great people to deal with bad cancer.!

UofU Patient December 21, 2013

Your chart doesn't have categories high enough for Dr. Werner and her staff.

UofU Patient December 16, 2013

It was such a refreshing experience to visit with Dr. Werner and her colleagues. We say "visit" because our experience was more like meeting with very knowledgeable friends than medical professionals we just met. Everyone was very caring towards my mother and I especially appreciated that.

UofU Patient December 15, 2013

On this visit, for the initial assessment I was able to see Esther L. Kannapel, A.P.R.N. I feel very lucky whenever I am able to see her. She is excellent in all ways, including her manner. She is very easy to talk to and I am amazed at the details she remembers from previous visits. I feel that she does a very thorough assessment for Dr. Werner and that I am in very good hands. I sincerely appreciate her help in all ways. I always see Dr. Soisson and Dr. Werner and think very are both excellent doctors as well, in all ways, including the very human way they treat me. I sincerely appreciate all the help I receive from all of these nurse/practitioners/doctors.

UofU Patient December 02, 2013

I feel safe and well cared for.

UofU Patient November 26, 2013

Theresa Werner is a wonderful doctor! I am happy to have her as mine. And Stephanie, her nurse, is great too. They are a terrific team.

UofU Patient November 11, 2013

The above questions would seem to indicate that there was choice, discussion and solution. We did not find that the case. Yes, we are not very pleased with things, and feel like there is little concern for our convenience or needs.

UofU Patient October 07, 2013

The staff at Huntsman has fought with me through two cancers in the past four years. From the lady that cleaned my room after my first debulking surgery up to the various oncologists involved in my treatment every person I have dealt with has made me feel I was the most important patient on the roster. Huntsman's staff has saved my life and my sanity.

UofU Patient September 30, 2013

all my experiences have been good

UofU Patient September 21, 2013

The care I received from all floors and everyone involved in my treatment was over the top in every aspect of my stay. I would recommend Huntsman institute and University of Utah because of their excellent medical staff and the care I received.

UofU Patient August 26, 2013

I really appreciate this team and how they know me and show concern for me.

UofU Patient August 12, 2013

I was extremely pleased with how Ester expressed her care for my interest and explained what can I do to maintain better health by writing a note for me just the way Dr. Warner did when I met her the first time. Huntsman has such amazing doctors not only intelligent but show their sincere care for patients. Thank you so very much!!

UofU Patient August 09, 2013

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Werner. She is wonderful and I thank God every day that I am able to be treated by her and her staff. I am in remission today because of their knowledge and excellent care. She always makes me feel like I am important and that she cares about me as a person. Even though I have to travel from Idaho every 3 weeks for treatment...it is sooo worth it!!

UofU Patient August 05, 2013

Dr. Werner's team from her secretaries (Killie or Kim) the nurses Rachael and Stephanie, her Physician Assistant Esther and Dr. Werner provide me with information that it really helps me. Esther went beyond anything posible to give information to my insurance and then to explain to me my problem and findings in my tests. Then Dr. Werner reaffirm and explain again with concern and clarity all my questions.

UofU Patient July 03, 2013

Same comment . . . outstanding throughout.

UofU Patient June 24, 2013

Very good experience. Better than I expected

UofU Patient June 19, 2013

The time spent with the doctor is short but, because of the teamwork with the nurse and nurse practitioner, it seems adequate.

UofU Patient June 07, 2013

Good

UofU Patient May 29, 2013

I have nothing but praise for the Oncology Dr.s & Staff from check in to the end of my appointment. All of the staff @ Huntsman is the best!!

I feel I have gotten the very best care possible in Clinic.

UofU Patient April 19, 2013

UofU Patient April 12, 2013

Dr. Werner has it nailed in terms of her interaction with me as a patient, a good mixture of professionalism and friendliness, showing attention to all relevant medical details while also showing an interest in me as a person and the elements of my personal life. She is an outstanding clinician.

UofU Patient March 11, 2013

I feel good about my care and the attention you give me. I need to bring more questions with me . . . You're so good at answering them. Thanks.

UofU Patient January 09, 2013

We have been so impressed with Dr. Warner and her entire staff. They are always concerned and helpful with questions and just explaining everything in detail!

UofU Patient January 02, 2013

My care was primarily provided by a nurse, not one of the group listed above.

UofU Patient January 01, 2013

Highly confident in the entire team

UofU Patient January 01, 2013

The people involved are unbelievable! They make this difficult experience manageable. Thank you.

UofU Patient November 19, 2012

Dr Werner is great!! I feel like she genuinly cares about me. She never acts like she is in a rush and takes the time to explain things and answer all my questions. I know I am getting the best care possible!

UofU Patient November 05, 2012

I absolutely love Dr Werner and trust her implicitly! Monday (and the one other time I waited a couple hrs), were just really busy days.

UofU Patient October 30, 2012

We are taking a change of direction with my treatment and I will need to ask more questions at the next appointment.

UofU Patient October 23, 2012

even thought I know they are very busy, they have time to answer my questions and encourage

UofU Patient October 15, 2012

due to the business of this day; we felt confident in time shared by care providers. It was all we needed to complete the phase of treatment mom is in.

UofU Patient October 13, 2012

Dr. Warner is always great to not only explain things well but she is also great to write things down.

UofU Patient October 12, 2012

felt i had excellent care.

UofU Patient October 01, 2012

Everyone we saw at the Huntsman Center was excellent and we feel very confident that we will get the best care possible at your facility

UofU Patient September 28, 2012

Again, the medical staff is no less than excellent.

UofU Patient September 23, 2012

Our experience with Dr. Warner was so great. She did a great job at not only talking to us, but she wrote down all of the important information regarding treatment, side effects and medication information as she was talking to us so that we could refer back to it and that was very helpful!

UofU Patient August 18, 2012

my hope is people I know won't have to go thru cancer, if so, I would recommend you. The doctor told me it was my decision to undergo chemo; in Az. it was the doctor telling me what to do.

UofU Patient August 17, 2012

Dr. Werner has been incredible from day one. She always makes me feel like she is there for just me while she is in the room, and not only medically, but also by taking time to have some personal conversation and interaction before I leave. Dr. Werner never makes me feel intimidated or fearful of asking questions - she is wonderful!

UofU Patient August 10, 2012

I am very pleased with the care I receive at Huntsman, and have much confidence in Dr. Werner, Dr Soisson, and their staffs.

UofU Patient April 14, 2012

Dr. Werner and Esther K. have given me excellent care. I look forward to seeing them for my appointments.

UofU Patient March 14, 2012

I would probably not recommend a specific provider in the infusion center, but I would definitely recommend HCI infusion center.

UofU Patient February 28, 2012

Dr. Werner took time to listen and give me their thoughts and suggestions. I am proud/thankful that I am able to receive care there. You guys are great.
