I think Irene Cheong really cares about her patients and is agreeable to switching things up to help your concerns. I had excessive bruising and fatigue and she has been willing to try different medications to help the situation. I really like that she listens and is open to my questions & concerns.

I will not see the APRN again. Her general medical and cardiovascular knowledge is strickingly low. When asked about pruning fingers when dry, she said it was likely a nerve problem and she never heard of a heart or circulatory issue related to that symptom (e.g.,. Raynaud's disease). She then stated she didn't know why I was presenting with any symptoms (e.g., water retention, weight gain, coldness and tingling in feet), even after I told her that my OBG has ruled in perimenopause. She proceeded to state that I am too young and chuckled, until I told her I have had stage 4 endometriosis for years; that is included in my diagnosis list in Epic. She then proceeded to repeatedly ask me if I stress eat and stated multiple times that I had to be gaining weight because of stress eating (which I repeatedly denied) and she dismissed perimopause or any other possibility for my weight gain. The only reason I am going back to the clinic is medical tests. I have already told my colleagues in the

I felt that I was being given the understanding that having to see any type of medical person involving the heart can be scary and my fears were all taken away.
