Dr. Ting Ruan was born in Xi’an, China and then later moved to Taylorsville, Utah in her early teens. After attending West High School, she continued her education at the University of Utah, graduating with a BS in Bioengineering. She then attended and completed her professional degree at the University of Utah School of Dentistry. During this time, she frequently volunteered in the community, including a humanitarian trip to the Philippines providing dental care to underserved populations. To further improve proficiency in her clinical skills and enhance her knowledge of different specialties, she completed a general practice residency program at the Salt Lake City VA Hospital. At the VA Hospital she obtained comprehensive training in oral surgery, dental implants, endodontics, and esthetic dentistry.
Salt Lake City feels like home to Dr. Ruan. It is the first city she visited after coming to the United States. She loves the snow in the winter, the beautiful sceneries in the canyons throughout the year, and the caring society that we have. She is very excited to establish roots here with her husband, Kevin and be a part of this wonderful community.
Dr. Ruan’s highest priority is patient centered care. She believes in providing honest, high quality, and minimally invasive dentistry to every patient that she has the opportunity to care for. We feel honored to have Dr. Ruan join our team and know that she will take great care of our patients!
