I've been too slow doing this. Dr. Katherine Hastings is an extraordinary healthcare provider, far surpassing in her caring demeanor and broad knowledge anything I would normally expect from a busy doctor. She always makes me feel that my concerns are her concerns. Never have I wondered if any medical condition I raised was not being considerable thought. With other providers, I have sometimes felt I am being given generic responses, which is pretty much a waste of both of our time. Dr. Hastings on the other hand seems to immediately intuit what my understanding might already be and quickly tailor her guidance accordingly, quickly getting to the point, while maintaining empathy. This is unique in my 22 years of experience at the Madsen.

I think Dr. Hastings is a great provider but she's chronically late. I've been seeing her for a few years and this hasn't changed so it makes me think that maybe something needs to be changed to her workflow. I think she would benefit from a scribe.
