  • Since volunteering as a Candy Striper in my teens, I’ve dedicated my life to the care and health of patients. Working as a Registered Nurse since 1998, in both a hospital and a private cardiology practice, I have over twenty years of experience in Cardiology and have learned the importance of focusing on individuals and their unique needs.

I received my degree from University of Southern Indiana and have been a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner since 2015. I love being part of the University of Utah Outreach Program bringing specialized cardiovascular care to rural communities. It’s been a pleasure to be able to develop relationships with so many diverse people.

Many people are afraid or unsure when learning they have a heart condition. It is my goal to help patients understand their conditions, test results, and all of the treatment options. I offer state of the art care while balancing cost and convenience. I believe that good communication with you, your primary care provider, and other specialists is an important part of effective treatment.

In my spare time I enjoy vacationing (especially in Maine), dinner parties, crocheting, nature photography and geocaching. I have a cat who thinks he’s a dog, a dog who herds us around, and a husband who thinks our animals are hilarious.

To schedule an appointment with me, please call 801-585-7676.

I enjoyed her good character. Her concern for me. I didn't feel rushed. My questions were answered with respect. I felt like she cared about her patients.
