  • Shaylee Avery, DDS is a Utah Native who obtained her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Weber State University, where she graduated as Valedictorian. She received her dental education at the University of Utah School of Dentistry, and upon graduation she completed a General Practice Residency at the George E. Whalen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She is currently practicing as a Clinician providing general dentistry at the University of Utah School of Dentistry.

    Her patient care philosophy is prevention and patient education. Conservation of tooth structure and empowering her patients are the driving forces of her oral healthcare practice, as well as providing dentistry that is compassionate and gentle. Dr. Avery is passionate about the importance of oral health to overall health, and actively encourages and participates in oral health integration measures.

    She serves as the Director of Clinician Clinics for the Rose Park Dental Clinic and the Ogden Dental Clinic, and participates in dental student education. She also serves active roles in the Utah Dental Association.
