HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTER
Dr Patel spent considerable time going through all of my test results and making sure I understood each and everyone of them. She also explained what I can look forward to in the future based on each test results. Her care and her concern for my well-being make me feel reassured that I was getting the best care available. She made sure I knew what my options for the future would be, what to worry about and what not to worry about. When One of the tests had not come back yet, she called me at home the next day when it did come back. The results were unexpected so she spent time explaining to me what the results meant. She explained that I would need future testing and said she would arrange for the clinic to call me to set it up. She went above and beyond in her caring and kind attitude and her ability to make sure I understood my medical situation.

we talked about some of the symptoms that I have right now in reference to my memory. I was suppose to get a brochure with information but she could not find any information about it. The good thing was that at the meantime a social worker showed up and got information about researching for a new Therapist.

As a 60 year old with plenty of medical issues I have a small army of doctors, or so it seems at times. I like them all, as I have no problem "firing" doctors I don't trust, but Dr Patel is absolutely the best doctor I have ever interacted with. She is brilliant and personable and I don't want to ever lose her.
