Alice Frigerio, MD, PhD has completed residencies in both Maxillo-Facial Surgery in Europe, Dermatology in the US, followed by a Mohs mocrographic surgery fellowship. She also holds a PhD in Neurosicence/Biomedical Devices that she completed between the University of Milano and Harvard Medical School. She came to the University of Utah from Harvard, where she was a Research Instructor, with a focus in vascular anomalies and R&D of biomedical devices for the treatment of facial paralysis. Dr. Frigerio is particularly interested in vascular anomalies, high-risk skin cancer patients, and dermatologic surgery. Her main research focus is the genetic etiologies of vascular anomalies and possible relationship with melanoma.
