  • Erik Newman, MD, is an allergist and immunologist who cares for patients of all ages. He is especially interested in the care of asthma, food allergies, and immunodeficiencies. He also treats a large spectrum of allergic conditions including allergic rhinitis (hay fever), drug allergy, urticaria (hives), angioedema (swelling), atopic dermatitis (eczema), anaphylaxis, stinging insect allergy, and eosinophilic disorders.

    Dr. Newman graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine before moving to Utah to complete a pediatric residency at the University of Utah and Primary Children’s Hospital. He then moved to Colorado to complete a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the University of Colorado and Children’s Hospital Colorado. He and his wife are excited to call Utah home again and like to spend their spare time enjoying the outdoors.

    Dr. Newman and all his staff were absolutely wonderful! My husband has a TBI and so doctor visits are difficult and stressful for him and me but they were ALL SO KIND and patient with him and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Dr. Newman was very helpful and thorough in checking everything. Thanks so much for all your help!
