  • Marilou Oh is excited to join the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation team at the University of Utah Orthopedic Center and work in close collaboration with Dr. Richard Kendall, Dr. Pamela Hansen, and Dr. Zachary McCormick. Prior to moving to Utah in August 2016, Marilou worked in pain management in New Haven, Connecticut for thirteen years where she specialized in the management of chronic pain patients with Implanted Intrathecal Drug Delivery Systems. Marilou had also served as a sub-investigator in clinical trials that evaluated the safety and efficacy of immediate release opioid medications for the treatment of break through pain. Marilou earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physician Assistant studies at D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Marilou also holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut.

    Marilou oh listened carefully to my symptoms that I described, asking pointed questions for clarification. Then after x-rays and more fat finding questions, explained what was going on with my knees in understandable language and terms. She then helped lay forward ways I could be treated, and allowed me to make an informed decision.
