Kelli A. Freund-Begley, APRN

Kelli Freund-Begley, MSN, APRN is a psychiatric nurse practitioner in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

Ms. Freund-Begley graduated from University of Portland with a BS in nursing and received her MS with a focus on family and child and adolescent psychiatric nursing from Gonzaga University. She then completed a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in psychiatry at the University of Utah. Ms. Freund-Begley currently works as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the Adolescent Day Treatment Program at Primary Children’s Hospital Wasatch Canyons Campus.

With board certifications as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist, Ms. Freund-Begley’s clinical interests include the care of children and adolescents with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and behavioral difficulties, as well as therapeutic models of psychiatric residential and day treatment care.
