  • Dr. Ameena Husain is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Neonatology. She received her medical degree from Touro University Nevada, completed her Pediatric Residency at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL, and her Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Husain is board certified in Pediatrics and board eligible for Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.

    Dr. Husain provides Neonatology services at the University of Utah Hospital, Primary Children’s Hospital, and Intermountain Medical Center. She cares for both premature and critically ill infants as well as infants with a variety of birth defects. Her clinical interest is in biomedical informatics, specifically related to the use of the electronic medical record.
