Heidi L. Iongi, DMD, MPH

Dr. Iongi is a general dentist with training in public health dentistry. As Director of Community Engagement and Clinical Integration, Dr. Iongi drives the UUSOD’s community engagement efforts aimed at improving the oral health of all Utahns by improving both access to care and oral health literacy. She also works with colleagues across U-Health to integrate oral health into the broader health care system to improve health outcomes and the patient’s experience. Her research focus is on improving oral health access and outcomes in the areas of oral health integration and public health dentistry
