Derek Day, MD is a Sports Medicine Fellow at the University of Utah. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Georgetown University/MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, DC where he served as chief resident. Dr. Day’s clinical interests include musculoskeletal injury prevention and treatment, diagnostic and procedural ultrasound, and interventional spinal procedures. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and three young sons as well as hiking, skiing, and playing basketball.
