Margaret Liskutin, DMD, MS, MBA is a dedicated general dentist with a strong focus on public health, particularly in serving patients with complex medical conditions and underserved populations. She has an expertise in dental-medical integration and oral health promotion, with a mission to reduce oral health disparities and expand access to care.
Dr. Liskutin’s clinical interests include:
- Oral-systemic health education
- Advancing oral health integration across medical and dental specialties
- Removable prosthodontics
- Oral surgery
An accomplished clinician and researcher, Dr. Liskutin has contributed to the understanding of the relationship between oral and systemic health. Her research, which includes multiple publications on periodontal disease and its links to neurodegenerative diseases, reflects her commitment to advancing the field. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Utah Dental Association, and the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Liskutin serves as Clinical Faculty at the University of Utah’s School of Dentistry. Prior to this, she was an adjunct faculty member at Midwestern University’s School of Dentistry- Illinois and has nearly a decade of experience in general dentistry. Dr. Liskutin completed her master's-level training in molecular pharmacology and therapeutics at Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine and earned her MBA from Loyola’s Quinlan School of Business. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University’s School of Dentistry in Illinois.
